Chapter - 15 : Trouble

---

The scene transitions to the next day, where Alex is depicted sitting at the last seat, gazing out of the window. James, sitting beside him, can be seen mumbling something, attempting to engage Alex in conversation. However, Alex appears disinterested and unresponsive, focused on his own thoughts and distant from the interaction.

"Hey, do you know what happened yesterday?" James asked, his voice trembling with fear. Alex shook his head, indicating his lack of knowledge. Observing this, James continued with a worried expression, "Yesterday, Eldea city was completely annexed by the Invaders. They mercilessly slaughtered everyone, and even the military forces sent to counter them vanished without a trace. I can't help but wonder, what will we do if something similar happens to our own city?"

Before James could continue, Romario entered the classroom and took his place at the podium. The room fell into a hushed silence as all eyes turned towards him. Romario spoke with a somber tone, "I'm sure all of you have heard about the events that unfolded in Eldea city yesterday." A murmur of agreement and unease rippled through the students. Some began whispering amongst themselves, their faces reflecting a mix of fear and concern.

Romario continued, his voice filled with conviction, "It is moments like these that remind us of the importance of our training. We must become strong, not just for ourselves, but for our planet. When we have the power to counter these invaders , we can protect what is dear to us." His words resonated with the students, and a sense of determination filled the air.

Seeing the determination in the students, Romario smiled and continued, "To aid you in your journey towards strength, I have prepared individualized training schedules for each of you. I will now call out the names one by one, and you can come up to the podium to receive your training schedule."

Romario continued calling out the names of the students, and one by one, they approached the podium to collect their training schedules. When he called out James Weber's name, James eagerly went up to receive his schedule. However, Romario surprised him by adding, "Here is the diary of one of my friends who specializes in the hammer weapon. It contains valuable insights and experiences that might be helpful for your training." James gratefully accepted the diary, his excitement evident, and returned to his seat with a sense of anticipation.

"Alex Miller," called out Romario. Hearing his name, Alex walked up to the podium. Romario's words told him as he mentioned not having a specific training schedule for him due to his cursed weapon. However, Romario handed him a diary, saying, "Since you are interested in swords, here is my friend's diary detailing his experiences with swordsmanship. It might provide you with valuable insights and help address any doubts you may have." Alex accepted the diary and returned to his seat.

"Alright, students. Tomorrow, we will be spending more time on the training ground and less in the classroom," announced Romario. "Before we conclude today's class, I want to inform you that the admissions to Warrior Universities and the military will be increasing due to the heightened attacks from the Invaders." The news sparked excitement among the students, as they saw this as an opportunity to secure admission to prestigious institutions.

As the class came to an end, everyone packed their bags and made their way home. However, on his way, Alex found himself suddenly surrounded by a group of people. Their intentions and identity remained a mystery, leaving Alex uncertain about their motives. The suspense builds, and readers are urged to stay tuned for the upcoming chapters to uncover the truth.
