Gyun had heard footsteps behind him long before they were confronted, but he didn't do anything, he was interested in seeing how this would play out. Gyun was surprised at how aggressive Hajun's guys were, they'd already hit Juwon and the guy who'd grabbed him had slammed him into the wall while sucking on a lollipop in his mouth.

Gyun continued to observe as Juwon made nonsensical excuses, the other guy who was standing over Juwon grabbed him pulling him up. "Get the hell out of here" and if you report this to anyone we'll be back, got it?!"

"Yes!Yes absolutely!"

"Good, now fuck off," he said as he shoved Juwon

Gyun raised his hands in surrender, "Hey I'm cool, we're leaving let's not escalate this any further".

The one holding Gyun up looked at the other who gestured to let him go. Gyun took the chance to swipe a few of the chocolates in his pocket.

Gyun was set down, "Whew!"

Gyun tried to fix his crumpled uniform as he turned to walk back down the stairs.

He thought to himself 'Should I mess with them a bit? Yes, it's only right after all and their attitude reminds me of those mercenary punks from murim'

Gyun waved as he was walking down the stairs as he popped a lollipop into his mouth.

"It's been nice but see you around"

As expected the already aggressive pair of thugs were set off from this casual and arrogant demeanor.

The larger one of the pair who'd held Gyun grabbed his shoulder, pulling his hand back to wind up for a punch.

"Who the fuck do you think you are"

But the smaller and apparently smarter one hesitated,

'whoa, whoa wait a second, this guy pickpocketed Jiyun without him realizing'

But it was too late,

Gyun whipped his head around to reply with a devilish grin on his face, "What do you care"

He used the fact that his shoulder was being held to pivot and hit Jiyun in the jaw with a spinning backhand.

'hoho it felt so nice to get that out of my system after I died and came back I've had a lot of pent-up frustration'

Gyun shook his hand in the air to get rid of some of the saliva that got on his hand.

"Ughh, we'll either way let's calm down I think we can call it even with that, it was self-defense after all right?"

Juwon, turned around, "Hey what the hell are you doing, let's fucking leave!"

Jiyun stood frozen not replying as he felt his jaw. 'it was just a slap but my cheek feel's numb, what the hell?'

Jiyun looked at his friend Sinyeo, Sinyeo seemed to have also grasped the situation.

Sinyeo spoke up first, "Sure erm we'll let you off just this once since we need to focus on keeping a perimeter."

Juwon pestered Gyun nonstop after they left the school grounds and he was sure there were no more of Hajun's crew around.

"Do you know who you talked back to, just now? You could have gotten us killed! Are you mentally insane Hajun's crew has enough power to take over our school in half an hour. I don't know thi-"

"Do they now?"

"Yeah, I don't know their current situation but Hajun a few months ago was in South Gangbuk and was trying to unify it, but before disappearing a few weeks ago last I heard his crew had around a hundred maybe a few more give or take."

Gyun crossed a street to get onto the sidewalk with Juwon following him as he replied.

"So after Hajun disappeared what happened to his crew in Gangbuk? Those guys back at the school didn't look like students most looked like runaways but there were a few adults for sure."

"As far as I know his number 2 took over and they renamed and expanded themselves as 'Golden Age'. They've basically almost taken all of Gangbuk and have moved into business,I think they own a night club in Gangnam under their crew name."

"What the fuck?! I thought we were in high school! the hell are those guys doing that they're running a nightclub?!"

Gyun was completely caught off guard, if it was murim you could do all sorts of illegal things and nobody would be any wiser if you cleaned up. But in the modern era investigative techniques and technology are so advanced that being caught is almost a given, that's why Gyun was looking for legal moneymaking opportunities despite the somewhat illegal merchant association he'd owned in Murim.

Gyun returned from his thoughts to listen to Juwon,

"I know right? Who knows how those bastards did it but it's true from what I hear. I think that guy Doyun has been there a few times. It's a popular hangout for high school delinquents since you can get let in even if you're underage for an extra charge. People talk about it all the time in class"

"Huh how interesting, I don't think I have anything to do today how about you?"

Juwon looked at Gyun confused, "No I was maybe going to go to a PC cafe I heard about, why?"
