"Here?"
"Yeah" Gyun looked at the line of businesses, the plain red colored words on the white signboard stood out to Gyun.
Turning back to the driver, "How much?"
"33,000 won"
Gyun searched around in his wallet for a few seconds, before handing the man a few bills "Here, 40,000 won, keep the rest...Thanks for the ride"
The driver smiled, "Thanks man"
Opening the door, as he stepped out he looked around, surveying his surroundings.
-It's pretty late already isn't it, are they still even open? I should get a feel for the layout first anyway-
Examining the building, it was part of a long strip of buildings, but it had an alley directly next to it. It looked somewhat old it was a brick building with an off-white signboard advertising quick cash loans, there were 2 floors to the building. On the first floor, there were no windows but there was a pair of windows on the second floor but there was no light that Gyun could see. However, there was even a smaller sign hung on the door, reading '24 hour service'
The street itself was poorly lit, but the buildings themselves sported bright neon lights, on their signboards, it very much resembled a red light district though there weren't any prostitutes wandering the streets currently it was still relatively early and the majority of workers would be getting off work relatively soon. Gyun spotted a few bars that seemed to be disguised brothels as there were an unusual amount of men entering, and what seemed like small gambling houses there was also an air about the entire street, the clientele that Gyun saw wandering the streets seemed, unsavory to stay the least.
Pulling his hood up, he circled the block a few times and checked the back of the building noting the fire escape into the side alley along with the back door into the back alley. Gyun looked up around at the sky, the clouds were darkening and it seemed like it would soon be raining,
- Potentially sub-optimal weather conditions may interfere with a chase if he were to escape...I've got time no reason to rush and lose him, but regardless, this fucker dies tonight-
Heading to the side alley, Gyun scaled the side of the adjacent building, watching through the window he could see movement through the second floor's window. He didn't have any weapons on him, nor an idea of the surroundings.
He had to be thorough, mistakes could not be afforded, it'd been months leading up to this point, and if it took a few hours or days Gyun could wait. After all, he'd grown accustomed to waiting.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Gyun lay flat on his stomach, on the top of the roof, watching the entrance to the building as he heard thunder in the distance. Checking the time on his phone it read, '5:38 PM'
-It looks like it may be clear, but I should reconsider charging in, they said that they're likely armed, but that's not the issue...I guess I'll burn it all down or I can wait until he leaves...Yeah it'd probably be best to wait until he leaves-

3 hours later,
Though it had begun to rain, Gyun stayed on the roof of the building, despite the rain being relatively light he was still wet to the bone, he kept his alertness through the entire hour. He'd experienced worse before when he was in murim, he was trained in how to remain focused for extended periods of time no matter the conditions.
Throughout the 3 hours, he'd seen several people, most likely debtors and people looking to get a loan to enter the building. Some left nervously, others happily with envelopes in hand, but there were a few who left with a limp and even one who was tossed out as a bloody pulp. As well Gyun had confirmed that there were at least two other men that worked within the cash loaning business, who were sporting black dress pants, with black blazers over white dress shirts, a poor attempt at looking professional and disguising their thuggish nature.
Though it was unfortunate for those involved, it left no doubt that the man who killed his father in a targeted drunk driving accident did not deserve mercy, he was trash and would always be trash.
Eventually, Gyun was rewarded for his efforts as the target, Ryeo Dae-Hyeon or at least that's what he went by nowadays, Gyun had forgotten his name, but he'd memorized his face from the photo that his contact had sent. Poked his head out of the side alley's window smoking a cigarette, instantly recognizing him, Gyun rolled over to get out of view, on his back Gyun exhaled with anticipation.
But now that he'd confirmed that Dae-Hyeon was in the building along with proof that he was still human garbage, Gyun could now with a clear conscious kill the man. All he needed were the proper things now, he climbed down from the building he was on from the back avoiding Dae-Hyeon's gaze.
He left to purchase some supplies now,

32 minutes later, 9:00 PM
Gyun exhaled lightly as he set down the third and final disinfecting bleach bottle on the fire escape, he climbed down as quietly as possible landing almost completely silent on the alley floor.
He slid on his black surgical mask and pulled the baseball cap he'd purchased at the cornerstone low, as he approached the building's front door, Gyun pulled out a pair of surgical latex gloves. As he stretched them on, he controlled his breathing and slowed his breathing as he opened the door wearing the gloves.
A bell rang as Gyun stepped through the entrance, his eyes immediately scanning the interior, there was one man behind a desk in the otherwise empty room, with a camera and a closed door behind the desk that Gyun had determined to be the stairs.
-Not even trying to act like a legitimate establishment, just some thugs playing businessman-
Looking around as he approached the desk, he noted that the room while empty had a hard floor covered by a thin carpet and the camera in the corner of the large room.
"Hello?" The man behind the desk answered, sounding a bit annoyed and tired
"Yes?" Gyun answered the man's question
"Are you here for a loan?"
"Erm, yes...a big loan in fact"
The man's tired eyes widened slightly as he raised an eyebrow, "How big of a loan are we talking about here?" he said pulling out a pen and a piece of paper to write on.
Gyun kept his hands in his pockets not wanting to expose the gloves, He leaned back a little "Errrrrr about 80 million won"
The man set down the pen and paper, "Sorry sir but we don't offer loans of that amount here"
"I'll put my house up as collateral, I just need some money and I'll pay you guys back double when I win at the casino!"
Putting on an act of desperation of a pathetic gambling addict, Gyun smiled behind the mask as he got the reaction he hoped for the other man chuckled and stood up.
Gyun, looked the man up and down, though the man had a bit of a belly and looked to be in his 30s, he was taller than Gyun and Gyun guessed his weight to be upwards of 120kg.
"Well, in that case, we might be able to give you your loan...but uh we might have to talk to my boss, here follow me upstairs" The man gestured, as Gyun walked behind the desk, and the man unlocked the door opening it.
Following behind, they walked up the stairs as the door closed behind them, Gyun heard an audible click as the door locked behind him
