Just as he said that, he was teleported and time traveled back to just waking up from hibernation.

“What’s happening?!?!?!”, panicked Nick.

Nick glanced around.

“Morning!”, greeted Ryan.

Nick looked astonished, he went around the spacecraft and looked at everything. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He thought he was in another dream, and later began pinching himself to wake up. He then proceeded to bash his head against the walls. All of this was no use, he soon realized that he had warped and gone back to this time.

Nick was utterly gobsmacked by this. He was speechless. He obtained the power to warp in time.

He then steered the spacecraft away from the direction of the black hole in time, and redirected it to planet HD 260655b. Adam and Ryan were extremely baffled by his actions. Adam tried to take over the wheel and knock Nick over, but Nick still managed to redirect the spacecraft. Nick quickly defended and Ryan immediately stopped the two.

“WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF THE SPACECRAFT!!!”, yelled Adam.

Adam’s face turned red instantaneously and started shouting at the top of his voice. It was as if the water started to boil and the kettle started an ear piercing whistle.

“Adam calm down first … I'm sure Nick has his own explanations”, Ryan was trying to calm Adam down.

“DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH FUEL WAS WASTED BY DOING THAT?!?!?!?!”, screamed Adam with all of his voice.

“YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN ADAM!”, shouted Ryan.

“Trust me, this will save all our lives”, said Nick calmly.

Adam and Ryan were suddenly speechless to see Nick staying so calm in a situation like this. This made them think that he is certain about this choice of redirecting the spacecraft. Adam’s crimson red face slowly faded away. There was no talking after that. Everything was silent. There was only the sound of Nick typing on the computer.

As the spacecraft traveled through space, Nick’s heart beated rapidly. He was obviously more nervous than ever. Suspension and fearness was building up in him. He was nervous that the direction was wrong again and everyone’s deaths would be his fault. His heart beated so fast and strongly as if a drummer was playing the drums. It felt like a large stomp, and everytime it beated, it felt like it was getting closer and louder.

Slowly, there were drops of cold sweat running down his face. He sprinted to the radar and tried to check if there were signs of the planet. He stared at the module and started for a long time.

“Why do you look so nervous Nick?”, questioned Ryan.

“N … No … I’m not … ”, Nick replied.

As Nick replied Ryan, Adam checked on the radar and was able to detect the planet on the radar.

“We have a detection of HD 260655b on our radar!”, celebrated Adam.

The suspension finally was gone, as everyone looked out the window, seeing the planet in the distance. The tension between Nick and Adam was finally gone.

“Phew”, Nick sighed softly.

Nick was relieved that it worked.

There was a virtual screen in front of Nick which showed something.

Nick suddenly looked really excited and exhilarated.

“So what else can I do with these new powers?” Nick wondered silently.
