As Ares was leaping into the sky with flame bursts, he quickly spotted stefan3B. He landed safely behind a group of rocks, a kilometer behind him. It didn't take much time for him to spot the darkness elementalist as well.

“Go on… Make your move… “ said Ares, fully focused.

The darkness elementalist quickly rushes stefan3B, with a fist full of energy. stefan3B blocks the attack and grunts as he does so, the impact manages to push him back briefly. The darkness elementalist quickly tries to hit his jaw using his left knee, but his attack is quickly stopped by a long-distance lightning blast, shot right from the cat's cyborg suit. stefan3B feels the strength of his feet recover, and so he retreats back, leaping a few meters. The cat takes out a small sphere then rolls it on the ground for a great distance. Right after it passes by stefan3B, it pops, generating a large force field that covers an insanely large zone. stefan3B is seemingly shocked by the new invention, so he leaps backwards once more, right next to the cat.

“Go away, I'll take care of him." said the cat in a serious tone.

stefan3B nods, then turns around and sees Darius and Radu. He quickly rushes over to them.

“I have absolutely no idea who that guy is or what he wants, but he's no fluke.” said stefan3B.

The dark elemenalist walks over to the forcefield and, with a curious expression, gently taps it. Lightning ripples on the purple energy field upon being tapped.

“What do you want?” said the cat, already mad.

The elementalist crosses his arms.

“A new life for my race.” said he.

“You're gonna have none if you keep pushing yourself. Go away.” said the cat, ready to jump him in case of anything.

“You’re joking, you honestly believe that such tomfooleries will keep thee safe?” said the elementalist.

He quickly jumps a few meters upwards and aims his right arm at the cat, then unleashes a barrage of darkness blasts which get caught by the forcefield. The blasts overload the field, and it gets pierced through.

“I got you!” said the elementalist in his mind before dashing downwards into the cat with a kick.

The cat crouches and blocks the kick with his left forearm. Struggling, he speaks up.

“You're done!”

His forearm explodes with electricity, pushing both of them backwards. The elementalist regains his balance and swipes dust off his coat.

“Name's DG, by the way, stands for ‘dark grandmaster’, as there has been no darkness element grandmaster in more than a century.” said DG while slowly approaching the cat.

“What a mouth full of words coming from a high ranker, without other dark elementalists, you can't become a grandmaster.” Said the cat.

“That's why I'm going to revolutionize this world!” said DG before swiping his hand on the ground.

Suddenly, tendrils sprout from the ground all around Cat and slam into him. The cat manages to dodge them, he aims his right arm at DG, a scope is put on his right eye, and his arm quickly turns into a railgun, but before he's able to shoot, DG leaps quickly towards him and headbutts him in his forehead. While the cat is stunned, he grabs his leg and spins vertically, then throws him with great force. The cat bounces on the ground twice before regaining his control and canceling the movement. The cat makes his arm turn back into its previous form and channels a lightning surge through the suit, making its circuits light up cyan.

“This suit was made to break, I can't win this, I just need to do as much damage as possible.” said the cat.

DG vanishes, then reappears in front of the cat and swipes his head with his leg, the cat blocks once more, an electric shockwave pushing his leg once again, then he punches DG in the abdomen with full force while clenching his teeth tight, unexpectedly stunning DG. The cat launches several punches at his head, which hit directly. DG regains himself and blocks the next punch, following him and dodging the rest of the punch barrage. DG starts speaking once more as he keeps on dodging.

“Machines are not meant to kill humans, they're meant to help them fix their flaws, but against a true elementalist…”

DG finds the perfect time to counter punch the cat, landing a quick jab in his face, stunning him as a whole, then quickly dashing back before vanishing and reappearing in front of him again, followed by a powerful dropkick, which knocks a few bolts and screws out of his cyborg suit. A loud, powerful shockwave of dark energy exploded upon the impact of the two. The cat was knocked back yet again, a great distance away. DG fell to the ground but took no time to get himself up. The cat shifts his body, making himself ready to dash at any time and clenching his hands into fists. The cat locks his sight on DG to detect any movement towards him. The moment DG moves even the slightest centimeter towards him, the cat's pupils widen. Suddenly, from the city, dozens of automatic rocket launchers start rising from the ground, and then, in an instant, they're shot, each one of them shooting two rockets per second, all the rockets flying towards DG at insane speeds. DG looks at the rockets with an agape mouth, as he's never seen such a thing before. Right before they'd hit him, DG frowns and creates a dark energy barrier to protect him from the rockets. The flurry of projectiles is unleashed ruthlessly with no mercy upon him, every rocket hitting its exact destination. The barrage goes on and on for around half a minute, until the launchers run out of rockets, breaking down soon afterwards into bare pieces of heated scrap metal. The cat pants, scared of the outcome of his special attack, his eyes haven't blinked at all from the stress, and he hasn't even flinched from his spot. The dust and smoke clear away slowly and smoothly, revealing a deep crater in the ground.

“Yes.” said the cat calmly, his expression saying otherwise.

DG slowly walks out of the crater, smoke coming out of his body, his face slightly leaned towards the ground, and his eyes bolting sharply at the cat. Little signs of damage can be seen on his elementalist coat, but the ratio between ammo usage and damage is too high to make the cat stay calm. DG dashes at undetectable speeds and punches the cat in its torso before speaking.

“Only a real elementalist can show resistance against another elementalist!” said DG, as scrap pieces of metal shrapnel would fly out of the cat's suit just from that punch.

“You're a fake! Go back and let me win this fight!” said DG before throwing another punch into the cat's face, but a forcefield quickly blocks his punch, however, still knocking the cat back.

The cat holds as much resistance as he can, he charges up electricity in his right hand, preparing a shockwave.

“Your name will be engraved in the history books I'll write, brave being of a different realm!” said DG in a deeper tone before rushing the cat once more, punching him in the same spot as before, perfectly piercing his cyborg suits’ body.

The charged shockwave surges out in a futile manner, not dealing any damage to DG at all. The cat groans and gasps, but he knew that this would happen eventually.

“At least I was able to hold him until they'd be here at full strength…” said the cat in his mind.

DG kicks the cat down and roughly pulls out his arm out of his body. He pressed his foot against the suit, then spoke in a slightly irritated tone.

“And it ends here for you, but it just starts for me.”

In the meantime, stefan3B, Radu, and Darius return to the grand wizards once more to ask for advice as Ares keeps on watching DG fight the cat.

Once the three royal guards arrive at the altar, the first wizard starts speaking.

“What are you here for? Go fight!”

“I can't do anything against him, he's too fast!” said stefan3B.

The third wizard rushes to the entrance while speaking in an angry tone.

“What do you mean there's nothing you can do against him? Did you even absorb all the energy of the temple?”

The three boys look confused.

“Can he absorb more than that?!” said Radu, fully left in awe.

“But yes, of course he can, the power is made for a singular being, and the power of the sun is nothing to be played with, you mudskipper.” continued the third wizard.

Radu pouts and crosses his arms, then looks away, not liking the teasing he received.

“Should I go and try to harvest more energy?” asked stefan3B.

“Yeah, go, the cat might be able to hold him for a while.” said the first wizard.

stefan3B nods before dashing off to the Sun Temple. Darius and Radu look at him, zooming from his spot towards the sun temple. Suddenly, Radu receives a weird sensation.

“Wait… something's wrong…” said Radu before slowly crouching and reaching for the ground and swiping some dirt on two of his fingers, rubbing it a little, then spreading it on his face.

“What the… What are you even doing?” asked Darius, very confused.

“The ground is different, it changed a lot even, it has to be the doing of the shadow elementalists, it's softer, more… cold, but at the same time it feels… weird… but something that's for sure is that they're not trying to corrupt the land, I feel like they can reverse the effects, they aren't trying to obliterate us, but… I'm sure that they can if they want…” said Radu.

“Well, look above you, it's not like there's a literal giant cube waiting to crush us.” continues Darius.

Radu suddenly had a realization. He quickly stands up.

“Wait… If I'm not mistaken, I haven't heard any sound from the mountains when the cube crashed onto them… And why would they make a cube way larger than the city if they wanted to kill us? They could have made a cube the size of the city and fully crush us, but no, they just want to conquer us…” continued Radu.

Everyone remains silent for a brief moment before Radu speaks up once more.

“We need to go help the cat, now!”

“But the fire guy is there already!” said Darius.

“I said now! Move it, you 5 brain cells, 10 watts of battery!” said Radu before pushing Darius gently, giving him a boost.

stefan3B arrives at the Sun Temple in barely a minute. He quickly dives into the hole dug by Radu and rushes inside, then inserts the sword back into the light and holds it still in there while wearing a worried expression.

“Come on, come on, come on, please work, please work, please work!…” said stefan3B in his mind desperately.

A few seconds later, the shrine emits a blissful sound as the whole light source wraps around the blade, not before venturing forward to his body and enlarging his energy coat, making it a brighter yellow.

“Yellow Blitz mark 3…” said stefan3B to himself before rushing out a few seconds later.

Darius and Radu arrive as fast as possible at the spot where Ares was peeking at the fight between the cat and DG.

“Hey, what's going on?” asks Radu, but his words get cut short by Ares.

“Sssshhhhh… I want to study and observe his movements. I need to know what I'm dealing with.” said Ares in a whisper.

“But why are you whispering? We're like hundreds of meters away from them…” continues Radu.

“Because we have no idea what abilities he has, what if he has super hearing too?” asked Ares in a whisper.

All three boys crouch. Radu crosses his arms and covers his mouth with one hand. Darius says nothing and waits for something to happen. Ares peeks out to check on the fight, he sees DG with his foot on the cat's suit.

“Oh no, he lost” said Ares.

“Huh? Which one?” said Radu, but before he was able to receive an answer, they hear a wild zoom from far away. The three boys all look behind them at the same time, and they see a familiar yellow flash quickly approaching them. Radu speaks up once he sees it.

“Huh? Is tha-”

But, in a split second, a bright yellow trail zooms past them with a sonic boom, bringing dust with it as well. Radu and Darius struggle against the strong wind, meanwhile Ares was just slightly phased by it, but he looked as irritated about it as the other two. It was stefan3B, targeting DG, and dashing insanely fast straight. DG takes notice of this a bit too late.

“What the-!” says DG.

stefan3B spins midair with his sword, like a sawmill, then crashes right into DG. DG parries the attack with his forearm, both of them dash in opposite directions. stefan3B clenches his teeth, his expression screaming with anger. He raises the elbow of his left arm together with the sword, then lunges absurdly fast at DG, who's shocked by the sudden power change of his enemy.
