The robot suddenly digs underground at outstanding speeds. Rares quickly jumps and uses flame bursts to propel himself upwards, however, the robot comes to the surface right behind him together with a bunch of dirt. The robot engages in combat midair, swinging its shovel. Rares blocks his shovel with his spear then grabs onto him and stabs its shoulder with the spear. The robot punches Rares away then plucks the spear out of its shoulder. The spear explodes right after a few moments. Rares slowly gets up.

"Noted, never let it punch you." said Rares in his mind.

Rares creates fire spirals in both of his hands, then he grabs them and throws them like discs. The robot takes no time and throws dirt over the spirals as they're moving mid-air, destroying them in an instant.

"My projectiles… Blocked by dirt and concrete?! No, I won't accept it. This is pure mockery!" said Rares, as he grew angrier.

The robot digs down once more. This time, Rares has a plan. He jumps, but this time creates 5 spears above him. As expected, the robot had the same strategy, however, Rares launched the 5 spears at it, 2 getting blocked by the shovel and the other 3 hitting its torso directly. Rares took no time and stomped on its head midair, bouncing off and safely landing on the ground. With a smile, he turns around to see the robot lay on the ground, with the spears stuck into it. However, the robot doesn't move even a single inch. Rares suddenly realizes what the robot is doing. The fire spears stuck into it slowly get smaller. He sees how its injuries start to heal as the flames get smaller and smaller. Eventually, the spears disappear and its body is fully repaired.

"What?! No way! So it can absorb heat, but not explosions. And not only that, it also repairs itself? Ugh, where's that moron when you need him?... What am I even saying, he doesn't matter. Pf, cyborg. What matters is how powerful your element is." said Rares in his mind.

He creates another fire spear, this time a longer one, which he wields great with both of his arms. With a competitive expression, he rushes the robot. It suddenly stands up and strikes Rares. He parried the strike, flourishes his spear quickly then slashes it, followed by a kick which pushes it back a little and the spear itself is thrown right in its middle. Rares takes no time and dropkicks right into the tail of the spear, pushing it through the robot and causing an explosion. Rares flips back and looks at the robot with a grin as he pants heavily, sweat dripping down his forehead. After the dust clears, a visible hole can be seen right in the middle. The robot just… stands there…

The robot's eyes suddenly light up with gray flames. Rares remembers that the swordsman had glowing eyes too and is suddenly scared. Rares creates a fireball in his right hand, strikes a pose then throws it with his greatest might. The robot digs down once more. Rares activates his elementalist coat defense mode and places the shield beneath him. The robot arrives at the surface and punches right through his shield, pushing him back. The robots lets out a malicious demonic laughter as it throws concrete and dirt onto Rares, weakening his flames. Rares turns off his elementalist coat, then half a second later he activates his elementalist coat once more, but this time in combat mode. He propels himself downwards towards the robot, creates a fire spear and slashes its face. The robot grabs Rares' neck with one hand and chokes him. Rares puts his hands into his neck as well and starts pushing against it. Flames start bursting from beneath Rares. He manages to outpower the robot's hand, then proceeds to concentrate flames into his palms, creating a piercing blast right through its neck. The robot loses its grip. Rares quickly back off, breathing even harder. Most of the robot's neck gets chipped off. It still stands tall, the same way it has been until now. The gray flames within its eyes intensify. The robot suddenly smacks the ground with its shovel. An insane earthquake is summoned right beneath Rares and the ground starts falling in a triangle shape. Just then, Rares realized that the robot had dug in a triangle shape and he was caught right in its middle. Rares is buried within the rubble and ruins of the road.

But let's take a look back to what Stefan had been doing until now.

Stefan runs between the narrow alleys and keeps skipping over buildings, dodging the micro missiles launched by the spider. He quickly arrives at it. He tries to scan the robot, but it doesn't even recognize its existence. Stefan is confused by the weird answer of the assistant, but nonetheless, he decides to punch the hell out of it. Once Stefan reaches close range, he sees the giant spider, or at least looks like one. It has 8 sturdy, chunky, gigantic legs. The entire robot as a whole is three times taller than a block of flats with 10 floors. The top of the robot was like a really short and flat cylinder, with round corners, each leg being attached to it. Stefan rushes one of its legs and punches it with his left arm, releasing an electric shockwave as well. All of the robot's armor is chipped away instantly by the unstoppable shockwave of his cyborg arm. Stefan quickly tries scanning and now it works, but only for the part where the armor is missing. Stefan notices several machine guns aiming at him, so he uses the grapple hook to run away. The machine guns fire after him but they can't seem to be catching him. Stefan grapples onto the robot itself and starts to swing beneath it. He grapples once more right underneath it and pulls himself into it, then launches another electric shockwave punch right in its middle. The hit was strong enough to force the spider to do a little hop, however, it wasn't powerful enough to tead off its armor. Stefan was now falling, so he decided to go to the same leg he punched before. He grapples from leg to leg until he sees the damaged leg. With no hesitation, he rushes it and punches once more, but without a shockwave. Stefan is able to instantly recharge his energy, but his arm got stuck within it. Several micro missiles are launched at Stefan. In despair, he tried to release another shockwave, but it wasn't working. He decides to shoot a blood energy blast, which frees his hand within the leg's circuits. He quickly grapples away, but the missiles target him now. Stefan braces himself and the missiles hit him directly, pushing him back at great speeds. Stefan is about to crash into a building, so he grapples onto a stop sign and swings to the left on the street, flinging himself at high speeds onto the street. Coincidentally enough, Rares was fighting the digger robot on the same street, and right at the moment when Rares was buried, Stefan launched into the robot at zooming speeds, slamming into its torso with ease, knocking it back a large distance. Rares slowly rises from the ruins of the road and coughs a few times.

"Hey, you seem to be having a little trouble with him. Wanna switch?" asked Stefan.

Rares gets out of the rubble fully and swipes the dust off his body.

"Sure. I don't like fighting dirty." said Rares.

Both Stefan and Rares look at the robot, which stands up like nothing has happened. The kick received from Stefan really bent its left side of the torso. Stefan sees the several damaged parts of the robot's body and is shocked.

"I know. Tough guy. Have fun." said Rares before taking off.

Gray flames burst from the robot's eyes once more, then it suddenly vanishes. In the blink of an eye, it appears in front of Stefan and strikes him with its shovel. Stefan blocks the hit with his left arm then activates blood flames mode, parrying its shovel then quickly punching it in the face. The robot barely flinches, then proceeds to grab Stefan's left arm and have a tight grip onto it. The robot seems to absorb the blue flames that burst out of his circuits and its body starts healing once more, repairing its entire body in a matter of seconds. Stefan turns off blood flames mode then shoots a blood energy blast which pushes it away. Stefan takes out his sword then scans the robot.

"Results: Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear…" continued the assistant to say repeatedly.

"What is up with this thing? What does fear have to do with anything? Is there another soul in this thing's body? Doesn't matter, I'll dispose of it before it gets to do anything else." said Stefan to himself.

Stefan rushes the robot and goes for a direct swipe. The robot blocks it, back off a little, spins his shovel then stabs the ground and lifts it up, destroying a great length of the road. Stefan loses balance because of the sudden attack. The robot takes advantage of this and slams him into the ground, then it takes no time to dive right into him and dig him deep into the ground. Stefan can't do anything at this point. The robot keeps pushing into him as they advance deeper and deeper in the soil, eventually reaching the stone layer. Stefan holds tight onto his sword, then perfectly stabs its head. It does nothing. The robot continues to dig deeper and deeper. Stefan's suit starts to lose durability quicker and quicker. Stefan twists the blade inside the robot, which successfully turns it off. Stefan is relieved that he was able to defeat the enemy… however, he hears and feels like something was approaching from beneath. Then suddenly, magma bursts up from beneath him, pushing him upwards through the tunnel. The robot suddenly wakes up and absorbs the heat. Stefan plucks out his sword and stabs its chest. The robot takes no time and sucker punches Stefan in the face. Due to magma pushing against his back, Stefan's heat transforming system charges him up instantly. Stefan proceeds to launch several electric shockwave punches, completely obliterating the robot's head. Once they reach the surface, Stefan takes out his sword then impales the robot right through the middle with his left arm with an uppercut, then releases one last electric shockwave, which blows it into smithereens, spreading its scrap in every single direction. Magma erupts from the tunnel like a geyser as Stefan is thrown up into the air with an extremely damaged body, but maxxed out electricity storage.

Meanwhile, Rares quickly advanced towards the spider. It quickly noticed Rares' presence and took no time to launch dozens of micro missiles at him. Rares activates his combat elementalist coat, conceals energy on his palms and shoots a piercing blast, which blows all the missiles in a cluster. Rares propels himself quickly towards the spider. It takes out several machine guns and starts shooting. Rares alters his flying patterns, dashing midair in every direction, making every bullet miss him. Once he is sure that the turrets are in his range, he creates a fire spear then throws it, launching directly at the turrets way faster than usual and creating a large explosion on impact which sets that specific part of the spider on fire. The spider takes out the railguns and aims them at Rares. He quickly changes his coats from combat to defense, followed by the spider shooting the beams at him and Rares blocking them with a flames shield. Rares changes coats again into combat and rushes to one of its legs. As he approached within a very close range, suddenly, several micro missiles were launched which exploded right away, before allowing Rares to take any action, damaging the leg as a consequence as well. Rares is thrown back forcefully by the wild explosion. His elementalist coat turns off, but he quickly stabilizes himself and lands on the ground safely. Panting and frowning with the anger of a bloodlusted man, he throws a fire harpoon into the same leg and drags himself towards it once it hits. Rares takes no time and attempts to kick the harpoon deeper and deeper into the robot, but with no success. He gets annoyed and stabs its leg with several fire spears, then propels himself away and blows them up. The explosion caused enough damage for the armor layer to be torn off, however, as Rares was admiring his work, the spider managed to reload its railguns. They're viciously shot at Rares with no warning, which pushes him through a building that collapses at once with the impact. The ground starts to shake violently, Rares activates his elementalist coat as he lets out a war cry and the rubble is instantly flung in every direction away from him. His elementalist coat quickly shuts down afterwards and he falls on one knee, with his eyes closed and panting heavily, covered up in dirt and dust.

Right at that moment, Stefan activates his blood flames mode after being thrown up in the sky by the magma geyser and he takes no time to dash kick downwards right on the top of the spider, pushing it down a little. Several machine guns and railguns circle Stefan, but he instantly casts a burst of flames around him, terminating all the weapons in mere moments. Hundreds of micro missiles fly towards Stefan from every single direction. Right before they would land on him, he uses a flame blast to propel himself upwards. The missiles crash onto the spider and cause the armor to chip off slightly. Stefan uses this to his advantage and rushes to take down its legs, as its head is way too tough. He punches one of its legs with his left arm at insane speeds then releases a powerful burst of blue flames, quickly melting the leg and making the spider lose it. However, it appears barely even phased by it, as it has other 6 legs to support itself onto. Suddenly, the spider smacks Stefan with one of its legs right into the ground. He grinds against the concrete as he slides and growls from the pain. The spider quicky attempts to stomp Stefan, but he manages to get up and dash out of the leg's stomp just in time. Stefan takes out his sword and stabs its leg, then holding it, he runs upwards the leg, eventually reaching the top and taking the blade out. It doesn't take long until the circuits separate from each other which causes a great explosion which shakes the robot fearsomely. The explosion of the leg pushes Stefan on top of the spider again. Once he lands, he starts to punch it as hard as he can with his left arm. Firsty bending the armor a little, then damaging it, eventually destroying it. Stefan suddenly hears a loud alarm, but he doesn't stop punching into it. Jetpack robots fly outside the spider and all target Stefan. Stefan scans one of them and finds their vital spot. He incinerates 3 of them in the blink of an eye, but he's caught from behind by one and dragged into the air. Stefan rips apart its arms and starts falling down. He charges up his arm to release a one last powerful blast to finish this robot for good, but he's stopped by one of the jetpack robots, which kick into him. Stefan quickly breaks its leg with his right arm then tries to concentrate again on damaging the spider. The jetpack robot does not give up, and as a last resort it grabs Stefan from behind and self-destructs, causing Stefan to lose the focus of his attack as well as waste his blood flames mode time. Stefan's mode deactivates and he goes back to normal. He falls down more than 500 meters from the sky right onto the cold concrete. With his body visibly damaged, he tries to come up with something, but he just can't. The spider robot goes ahead and tries to stomp Stefan again, but is stopped by Rares who throws a harpoon at its leg. Holding the fire rope with both of his hands, Rares shoots another 2 harpoons into the ground to fixate himself, then tears off the armor of the leg, as well as pushing it away.

"Hey! I took off its armor! Get its energy! Buy time for me! I have a plan!" yelled Rares.

Stefan didn't need that to be told a second time. He quickly grapples onto the chipped away leg and fully recharges his electricity. Rares activates his elementalist coat once more, but this time, it's… different. It has a soft yellow texture unlike the harsh yet or the powerful orange of the combat and defense coats.

"Support coat… Let's go." said Rares, before quickly climbing onto a block of flats.

A stream of flames escape from his palms as he rises them in the sky. The flames eventually meet each other and form a small ball. The ball gets bigger and bigger very slowly as the flames keep fueling it up.

"Come on, buy me time, don't make it go to waste…" said Rares in his mind.
