"Checkmate" said stefan3B in his mind.

He grips onto his fist, then turns around and kicks her right in the stomach. Daiana is staggered, and she doesn't have any time to react. stefan3B rushes and goes for a punch to her face, but his punch phases through her. She created an illusion split second before he'd rush. She quickly dashes to his left side and sweeps his feet, knocking him down on his back, then stomps onto his throat with an ax kick. stefan3B takes no time to grip her leg as hard as he can and impale it with his nails.

"Ow! You bastard!" said Daiana.

She took her leg off his neck with a pant of pain. This gives stefan3B enough time to activate sword mode and propel himself up, he then deactivates sword mode and grabs onto her right arm with full force with his right hand. Daiana tried her best to struggle and get him to let go of her, but nothing would work. She tried to kick his leg, but he stood strong, like an immovable object. Her arm is crushed by his insane grip. Daiana shouts in extreme pain and suffering as she tries to push him away in sheer despair.

"I told you that I will tear you apart!" said stefan3B, before landing a powerful stomp, tearing her arm off her body.

Blood splashes across the battlefield and drips from both her ripped arm and her body. stefan3B throws away the worthless arm and looks at her, still dead in the eyes. She starts panting heavily, but still manages to remain calm. Her eyes start glowing in a dark shade of pink, then, suddenly, her entire arm grows back. It looked different, though, it was fully dark pink, the same shade as her eyes. Blood splashed at the same moment the arm grew back. stefan3B is surprised by her regenerative capabilities, he remembers the time he fought the soldier slicer, and he frowns harder.

"Ethnobotanicals, eh? How many injections did you shoot in your ass before hopping on me?" said stefan3B, mocking her.

Daiana’s left eye stops glowing and returns to normal, but her right eye glows stronger and more powerful, so she rushes towards stefan3B for a direct hit at high speeds.

“Must be another illusion, but I’ll brace myself in case of anything.”

stefan3B braces himself, but the hit was real. Daiana punches stefan3B at full force with her new energy arm, causing a pink explosion on impact and knocking him back a great distance. stefan3B flips and stabilizes himself. Daiana jumps high up in the air then punches the wall of stone, making a big piece of it chip away. Daiana picks it up and throws it right at stefan3B. He activates sword mode and punches right through the stone, shattering it into small pieces. Daiana jumps right at him and stomps onto him. He blocks against the stomp, and she jumps off. stefan3B leaps over to her and goes for a punch. Daiana punches as well, and they both collide and get knocked backwards. Daiana raises her guard up and starts punching the air with her energy arm, releasing energy punches.

"At this point, she doesn't even use her illusion powers anymore, she's all for melee." said stefan3B in his mind.

He is able to dodge her punches as he approaches her. As soon as he got close enough, he gripped onto her skull then gauged her left eye. Screaming in pain, Daiana chokes stefan3B with her energy arm as she covers her heavily bleeding eye with her other arm. stefan3B grips onto her energy arm and starts kicking her in the chest quickly. Right when she was about to lose her grip, stefan3B's sword mode forcefully deactivates, and he chokes quicker. Daiana throws him into the ground, sending him sliding onto the rocks. stefan3B lets out a loud grunt as he tries to get himself up but fails. Daiana starts walking up to him, then speaks up with a husky voice as blood drips from her eye constantly.

"If I'm going to hell, you're coming with me."

stefan3B grunts once more in pain before speaking as well.

"If you wanna kiss me that bad, just say so."

Suddenly, the sky turns black as dark clouds appear above them, and without a second to even look up, a yellow lightning bolt strikes stefan3B for several seconds before disappearing. His entire body is covered in a deep, shiny yellow aura.

"Huh?... I feel… Warm." said stefan3B, looking around himself.

Daiana is confused, but she doesn't allow that to distract her from her job. She sends an energy punch from her arm. stefan3B flips back and dodges, but this time he leaps right towards her. Daiana takes this as an opportunity and unleashes a very quick, long-range energy punch barrage. stefan3B manages to dodge every single punch from her, eventually arriving close to her. He then lands a critical blow in her face, shattering her nose into oblivion and disfiguring her as a whole while blood splashes on the ground.

"Such a shame, you had a pretty face." said stefan3B.

Daiana gets as angry as she can get, her right eye's flash grows bigger than ever but turns white instead of pink. The ground shatters beneath her, then she launches at stefan3B, he performs an upward roundhouse kick in her jaw and successfully launches her in the air, canceling her attack. He jumps and goes for a jab, but she dodges it midair and catches his leg and throws him, however, stefan3B caught her leg as well and threw right after she threw him, launching her into the ground. stefan3B crashes down into her, stomping on her abdomen. She coughs out blood, but using her energy arm, she punches him off her, and then she slowly gets up. stefan3B regains his balance, then rushes and lands a clean, quick punch in her chest. Then a sudden realization hits him.

"Did I just punch her… It doesn't matter, don't think too much about it." said stefan3B in his mind.

Daiana takes no time to land a counterpunch in his face, but stefan3B resists the blow and hits her in the liver with all of his might. Daiana is staggered for a split second, but then she pushes him away with an energy wave. stefan3B slides back with no damage taken.

"Fall." said Daiana with a deep, husky tone, as her eye started flaming instead of shining.

stefan3B struggles to keep his balance and falls onto one knee. Daiana starts walking towards him.

"Your powers are worthless against the real power of an illusion elementalist. Your mind will succumb to my magic and nothing else. It's the true and pure mind manipulation—the element of illusion. Your fate is sealed, son of Dobre." said Daiana in her edgy tone as she got close to him.

Suddenly, stefan3B smiles and lands a powerful and unexpected uppercut, hitting Daiana directly in her jaw and dislocating it.

"Your powers have no effect on me when I have this activated. You are the one whose fate is sealed, I'm gonna eat you up!" said stefan3B with a bright smile.

"You…" said Daiana in her mind, blazing with anger.

stefan3B proceeds to land several left and right hooks in her head, progressively getting faster. He then grabs her head and headbutts her, making it bleed. Daiana tries to punch stefan3B again, but he catches her arm and twists it, then turns her around and stomps onto her shoulder, eventually ripping it off again. stefan3B continues to stomp her back until she falls down to the ground. stefan3B stands on top of her then starts stomping her throat and pulling her head until the throat rips and her head is detached. Her elementalist coat instantly turns off, revealing her body full of bruises. Blood spills from her body quickly for a few seconds then stops.

"I'll call this thing Yellow Blitz." said stefan3B in his mind, followed by the automatic deactivation of the mode.

stefan3B drops her head, but then a random thought flashes in his mind. He doesn't know who or when he saw that, but he remembers something like a core being torn out of someone. stefan3B turns her around and then proceeds to stomp on the spot where her heart should be located, eventually piercing her body with his foot and crushing her heart, supposably. Her body then starts to slowly evaporate together with her blood. stefan3B is insanely confused by this, almost feeling like vomiting, but he tries not to think about it.

"Ugh… It's over…" said stefan3B in his mind, tired of all the shit that has happened until now.

He takes out his orb, it's shining greatly, and its glow floats slightly towards a specific way, as if it's pointing to something. stefan3B follows the glow as it intensifies more and more, eventually aiming to the ground. stefan3B punches the ground in the exact point where the glow is aimed at. The ground easily shatters, revealing a shield-like object glowing with a powerful yellow aura while being yellow itself.

Meanwhile…

Radu and Ares head towards the ground. Radu is really happy and excited, meanwhile Ares is pretty pissed off that he has to walk with such a person, excited to fight and help the wizards for no reason.

"So, so so so, what do you know about the wizards?" asked Radu, excited.

Ares sighs and rubs his forehead a little before answering.

"Look, they didn't tell me anything about them, I didn't tell them anything about me. It's not as if I care about this world or them at all. I just need to get stronger."

Radu's enthusiasm slightly washes away.

"Damn… But… Why do you need power? Do you never have any fun?"

"Tsk, I'll have time for fun when I'll be the best."

"But when you'll be the best, you'll need to keep your condition. In addition, you might be seen as a threat if you become too strong. Hey, we can hang out sometime if you want. I don't mind having another friend to steal stuff."

Ares scoffs off, ticked by Radu's claims.

"What would you know about me?" said Ares.

"Nothing, but that doesn't mean I don't want to know stuff about you. We're coworkers." said Radu in a friendly tone.

"So if we weren't coworkers, you wouldn't give a fuck, got it."

"No, if we weren't coworkers, I would never get the chance to talk to you so closely in the first place."

Ares is completely ticked off, and he stops walking, then points at Radu as he talks loudly.

"You listen here, mud bomb. I'm the leader of this operation, and you're supposed to shut up and execute! Stop asking dumbass questions!" said Ares aggressively.

Radu is offended by his statement.

"And who exactly made you leader? I didn't hear no wizard say you're in charge of anything other than your own side of the mission!"

Ares gets close to his face and talks in a lower tone.

"You want to find out? Do you really have the courage? Do you really think I wouldn't stomp you right back into the soil from which you came from? Match your attitude with your rank, pebble." said Ares madly.

Ares doesn't wait any longer and proceeds to fly towards his objective. Radu remains in the same spot, he takes a deep breath and then sighs.

"I really thought he's gonna kill me right there…" said Radu in his mind, relieved, as he rubbed his forehead gently.

Radu decides to take no more bonus time and quickly dig towards his destination.

"What could be up with this guy? Is there some sibling rivalry between him and 3B? Agh, I have no idea… But whatever it is, it might just bring him doom." said Radu in his mind as he dug quickly towards the mountain.

After a few minutes, he arrives at the base of the mountain. He comes out of his tunnel and takes out his orb. It had a really, really weak glow, which didn't indicate anywhere. Radu starts to dig through the stone of the mountain, which easily broke since it was just a decoy for the entrance. Once inside the mines, he had an immense amount of rails and carts, along with mining tools such as shovels and pickaxes. His only light source after he'd gone inside would be his orb.
