Although it was only 9 o'clock in the morning today the house was emptier than usual. Today there were only three people in the house, one of them was my mother, the other one was Momo and me, everyone else was in the café. One meter eighty-tall man was standing in front of the doorway of our house, a black suit, long hair, a short boat, an eye patch, tattoos on his arm, his face was that of an angry man looking for trouble, behind him were three other men of similar appearance and a black luxury car, from the bulges in their clothes you could see they had badly concealed weapons. My mother who was speaking cheerfully fell silent in the middle of her prayer and took a step back. I began to summon Avalon from the wall next to me looking to have some weapon in hand. Both my mother and I were extremely confused as to what was going on, for from the descriptions Momo had given of her father we had a very different picture of the one who was present. The glass girl was covering her face with her hand trying to hide her shame, even though it was clearly visible, as always.

I on the other hand was sitting on the couch next to momo, but I was shrinking, because I didn't feel like talking, after all I wasn't good with situations like these, I never thought that the day would come when I would have to sit down and talk to someone who I would call father-in-law in a nice way. The last father-in-law I had, I had to gouge his eyes and kill him. And speaking of eyes, it seems the glass girl couldn't resist asking the most obvious question.

My mother, seeing the hardship that the three of us were going through, decided to intervene urgently and propose a new topic of conversation, perhaps a little more pleasant.

The glass girl, now full of thirst for revenge, went straight to ask about the subject we were politely trying not to touch.

Later, Mr. Kaikeishi received a call that seemed to be very urgent, because it scared him and he had to leave quickly back somewhere, although at least he clarified that it was not Momo's mother, but something related to his work, even so to us and to the glass girl it seemed very strange the behavior of that man.

The most bizarre thing happened shortly after, when Saeko called the house from the coffee shop, indicating that a few minutes before there had been a kidnapping in front of the store and the police were on their way. Checking the security cameras with my daughters we could see that it was Mr. Kaikeishi who had been approached and forcibly mounted in a black car that undoubtedly belonged to the Yakuzas, the real ones.
