Hey guys, this is the second release of this week. There'll probably be no release during week days since I'll be busy with school. I said PROBABLY, we'll see.
Other than that, I am looking for an editor. It's not really urgent but I think it would be good if I had one since my main language isn't english.
Enjoy and don't hesitate to leave a comment !

The man was looking at me like I had killed then eaten his whole family, if staring could kill, I would have already died a dozen of times.
His surname is well chosen, he look just like an angry dog ready to bite at any time. But if I had a surname and it had 'dog' inside, I would definitely be crying. How can someone be proud of being called a dog?
The man was looking at me with a sneer as he saw I wasn’t answering.
“Answer! What are you doing at Kasos’s post?!”
“Isn’t it pretty obvious? I am replacing him.” I lazily answered
Brass’s eyes became bloodshot and his expression hideous as he glared at me, from the tone of my voice he probably noticed I wasn’t scared or respectful.
The people around him suddenly froze, only the sound whisper could be heard in my queue. Most of them displayed expression filled with awe or dread as they looked at us.
Why ain’t I afraid of him? Because this is the Guild.
Let me ask you, what would happen if a receptionist in a guild got aggressed by an adventurer with no reason? His card would be destroyed and no Guild in the world would give him a new one or give him any commission no matter how low ranked they are.
Adding to the fact that we are surrounded by adventurers, even if an A rank one went wild, he would quickly be restrained by the sheer amount of adventurer present.
While it’s true that I would prefer not having a bad relation with him, it looks like whatever I say or do, he won’t let me go.
“You… Do you want to die?” He said with a weighty tone.
I won’t hide the fact that I indeed am a little scared right now, it look like he will at any time take out his giant claymore and try to cut me.
“I don’t care if you’re a brat or not. If you fuck with me, I’ll fucking kill you!”
His enormous hand suddenly grabbed my neck as he lifted me into the air with a single hand. I could feel a slight amount of pain coming from my neck.
The commotion immediately alerted everyone in the Guild, it didn’t even take five seconds for Saya, Kana, Selen and Lean to come.
“Brass, drop him right now!” Saya yelled with an angry tone.
The man only smiled as he gripped my neck even harder, making my neck feel even more painful.
“Heh, what if I don’t?” He sneered.
“If you don’t… Then don’t blame us for being merciless.”
While most of the child felt the danger and stepped back, most of the adult adventurers draw their weapons as they were filled with bloodlust.
On the other side, more than twenty people sided with Brass. It’s bad... It looks like that man is more influent than I thought.
Why do I feel like I stirred up a massive war?
“If one of you even try to move, I’ll snap that brat’s neck in two.”
Hey… Is he really going to try to kill me?... I feel like an idiot for feeling safe inside the guild, no wonder that guy is called ‘Bloody Dog’. He doesn't even care about the rules, I underestimated him.
I could feel my face becoming pale and my blood cold. I revived only a few days ago and am going to die like this?!
Unwilling to die, I grabbed Brass’s strong arm with my two tiny hand and tried to squeeze it as hard as I could.
“Hmph, what are you brat trying to…”
*CRACK*
A large sound resonated in the Guild as I fell to the ground.
Everyone looked at the scene with a mouth similar to a fish’s one, wide open. Brass’s forearm was bent in a way it shouldn’t. In fact, I don’t even think a forearm should be bent.
Even I had my mouth wide open as I watched what I had done. I only squeezed his arm, not even able to use my whole strength, yet it broke like a wooden branch.
As I looked at my hands, I noticed that the small tattoo was slightly shining but it wasn’t bright enough to be noticeable by the others witness.
A loud scream suddenly echoed in the Guild, Brass who realized what I had done looked at me with astonishment, but also killing intent. If before he was planning on merely breaking both my legs, but this time, it look like he just wants to kill me and my whole family.
Using his unharmed left hand, he tried to use it to unsheath his gigantic claymore.
“ATTACK!” Saya screamed.
This was the beginning of a massive battle, and I was right in the middle of it.
I don’t know if it was because of the adrenaline rising in me, but I felt my sense sharpening, Brass moved in front of me in slow motion and I could hear the sound of a sword cutting the air behind me, probably trying to pierce my back.
In front of me, Brass had already unsheathed his claymore and made a large vertical swing at me who was still on the ground.
At that moment, all the fear inside me had vanished. I only wanted to survive.
I rolled on the ground and dodged both the sword before quickly standing up while taking a glance at the one-eyed man who tried to stab me. My goal, for now, is to reach Saya’s side, once I am there I’ll definitely be safe.
But the question is how am I going to pass by Brass?
As expected of an A rank adventurer, he instantly noticed my intention and immediately blocked my way. He intent to kill me then escape.
I’ll have to use ‘THIS’ I guess. I quickly opened the Deck and retrieved a certain card.
The card is only visible by me, Brass didn’t notice it.
If I am right, with his forearm in this state, he’ll definitely try to end this as soon as possible. Once the adrenaline wears out he’ll be assailed by the pain and unable to fight. He must also know that with the adventurers overwhelming them, it’s only a question of minutes before they are suppressed.
Intending to quickly take care of me, Brass charge at me with his claymore and made a very large horizontal swing.
The size of his claymore gave me no room to dodge by stepping back or by the side. I only opted for the only option left and slightly bent my legs and back, almost crouching.
Brass smiled when he saw my reaction, the man who previously tried to pierce my back with his sword came from behind him and tried to stab me.
“Yuu!” I could hear Saya screaming.
He must have anticipated from the beginning… Despite being an ass, that man is definitely worthy of his rank as an adventurer. But there was one thing he couldn’t have known.
I crushed the card in my hand.
The very next moment, five fire arrow came out of the card and rushed toward the two men.
Their eyes became wide open, even I was surprised by what I saw. The card said ‘a fire arrow’, but there’s actually five of them.
Moreover, they can’t even be called five arrows anymore, each of them were, at least, thirty centimeters thick and actually looked like snakes. Brass definitely wasn’t prepared for this and took three of them while the other man managed to dodge them both.
But the two fire arrow surprised us once again. After flying for half a meters past the one-eyed man, they actually made a rotation of 180° and violently shot at his back.
The one-eyed man’s cloak was burned and burned skin could be seen at the two areas where the fire arrow hit him. A faint smell of burned meat propagated in the guild.
Brass was luckier than him. While he was definitely in pain, only a small part of his armor was damaged, he didn’t take any real damage, but his face actually showed how shocked he was.
“Instant cast?!” He muttered, but I ignored him and my fist violently shot toward his chest.
*CRUNCK*
A large metallic sound echoed in the Guild.
At everyone’s surprise, Brass was sent flying toward Saya. Even I was once again bewildered by my own strength. His chest armor had a large dent where I punched him, and some blood leaked. A few fragment of his armor probably pierced his body.
This tattoo that I obtained after coming out of the dragon’s lair actually made my body this powerful?
“EVERYONE STOP!” Saya yelled as her blade pointed at Brass’s throat.
The adventurers helping us naturally stopped, only a very few number of those on Brass’s side continued fighting, but they were quickly suppressed.
* * * * *
“I am terribly sorry…” Said Saya while bowing.
I don’t really know how I should take it, in a way I am responsible for everything that happened today.
It only took a few minutes for Saya to suppress the remaining violent adventurers. All the ones who stood by Brass’s side were blacklisted on the Guild’s registry. Since there was no death, nobody was condemned to death.
All of them only had to pay a fee of 20 silver.
Twenty silver is actually a very LARGE amount of money.
In this world, silver is actually rarer than gold and far more useful. Depending on its purity, it can be added to a weapon during its forging which will later become a magic weapon.
Most of the silver are impure silver which is used as a currency. 100 copper is the same as one gold coin, and 100 gold coins equal 1 silver.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Each of them had to pay a fee of 2,000 gold and they were also blacklisted from the guild which greatly decrease their way of making money. As long as the fee isn’t paid, they aren’t allowed to get out of the city.
If within three months the fee isn’t repaid, they fall into slavery. I wonder if they really thought of the consequence before acting.
“Yuu is really incredible, on his first hour, he already managed to provoke a war.” Kana said as she squeezed my head.
“Kukuku, just like a princess kidnapped by a demon, everyone was fighting for him.”
A terrible urge to hit Selen suddenly grew inside of me.
“I should’ve know that Brass would stir up some trouble… I can’t believe I involved someone I met just an hour ago in this…”
“At least, we’ve taken care of the evil root in the Guild. You don’t have to feel sorry for them Yuu, most of them are people doing illegal work.”
So this is the reason why Saya had a faint smile while she was blacklisting them…
While she was apologizing, I could feel Selen slowly climbing on my back.
“As I thought, in spite of looking like a frail girl, Yuu is actually pretty strong.”
“I was thinking the same! It was amazing how he managed with a ‘BOAAAM’ send Brass flying.” Said Kana as she tried to imitate my punch.
“That fire spell also wasn’t bad. How did you manage to cast it without an incantation?” Asked Lean this time.
Ah… I don’t know how I should explain that. I want to keep my Cards a secret. While trying to find an excuse, Saya came to my help.
“Come on girls, we still have work to do. Yuu, since you must be tired you can leave for today. If you’re interested in the post, just come back tomorrow.” She said with a gentle smile.
“Yes, I’ll think about it.” I said before leaving.
“Ah, also try to remain in guarded and crowded areas. Brass might try to look for you so be careful.” She warned me.
I felt my body shivering at her words, but I quickly calmed down.
Seeing my strength, I doubt he’ll come for me… Probably… Maybe?... Actually, I think I’ll listen to her advice. Yeah, just in case.
There’s still a little hour left before meeting with Kaiyu.
Thinking about it, maybe I should have used Kaiyu’s knife. I completely forgot about it!
* * * * *
As I was walking toward Maie’s shop to retrieve my command, I noticed something unusual.
In the corner of my eyes, I could see three rough looking men grabbing a red-haired woman, trying to take her into an alley.
At first, the men had some difficulties, but one of them punched her in the stomach and she coughed a large amount of blood before falling to the ground.
Should I ignore this and move on?... Or should I try to rescue her?
Most of the people who were also looking at the scene wanted to interfere, but it only took a stare from the thug to scare them.
If it was the previous me in my previous life, I would have probably ignored her, scared of being hurt.
But in this new world, I decided to live without regret. If I let them go like this, I would definitely regret it later.
They are only a group of thugs, they can’t even compare to Brass.
Filling my heart with courage, I stepped toward the alley.
It didn’t even take me a single minute to find those guys, two of them already had they pants down while the last one was holding the woman down.
“Who's there?!” One of them roared as he saw me.
*Cough Cough*
I couldn’t help but feel disgust toward them. The woman was still coughing blood, but it didn’t even bother them the slightest.
“A brat?...Piss off before we kill ya” He said as stared at me with disdain.
Staring at him indifferently, I didn’t even bother saying a single hand and punched him in the stomach, sending him flying for at least five meters.
Even though they are trash I still restrained my strength. If I had used as much as I did with Brass, the man would definitely be dead with a hole in his chest. It’s not like I already want to become a murderer.
“You bastard!” His comrades yelled with their son still pending for the action.
I wonder how many time today I heard people curse at me… This is only my first day in the city and I feel like tomorrow everybody will know about me.
The two men took a knife out from their back. Look like they’re really trying to kill me, this time, I should use that knife.
Taking out Kaiyu’s sharp blue knife, the two thugs who were until now laughing suddenly froze in place with their eyes popping out of their sockets.
“Y-You… T-T-That k-knife… Where d-did you?” He asked while shaking.
Their face became blue and their son suddenly shrunk till it was almost gone, further and they would become two aunties.
“What about this knife? Someone gave it to me.”
“I-Ice Reaper…”
The two men expression suddenly changed into a terrified one and started running away without even wearing their pants. They even left their unconscious friend on the ground, not caring about him anymore.
Just what the heck did Kaiyu give me? Maybe I should ask her when I go back.
Turning my attention toward the woman to see her condition, her beauty almost stole my soul. She is even more beautiful than Kaiyu.
Her long red hairs combined with her sharp crimson eyes made my heart beat as she stared at me. She was wearing a very wide black cloak which concealed most of her figure, the men didn’t have enough time to take her clothes off.
In a way, she reminded me of Kaiyu but was also kinda different. While her appearance can be described as ‘cool’ and ‘wild’, she doesn't have that cold side that I experienced when I first met Kaiyu.
If I had to describe it, I would say that she is more a ‘hot-blooded’ one.
Despite the large amount of blood she coughed and how pale her face was, she was still conscious and didn’t seem to be in pain.
Carrying her, I made her sit her back against the wall. I ain’t a doctor so I can’t really help her…
The red haired woman was staring at me, her eyes filled with thankfulness and resignation. She most likely knew she was dying and thanked for helping her.
As I was about to give up, I suddenly remembered something.
There’s this card, right? The only support card I have left… ‘Heal’.
The effect of ‘Fire Arrow’ which was a D rank card left a deep impression on me. Heal however is an A rank card. Its effect must definitely be many times stronger, strong enough to heal a small wound like this.
Crushing the card, a small light entered the woman’s body. At the same time, I touched her stomach where she had been hit with my right-hand fainting that I was using magic.
The woman’s eyes suddenly widely open as she was staring at the green aura surrounding her body. Her face regained its initial color and soon she managed to regain control over her body.
I only smiled and stood up, turning my back as if I was leaving.
“Wait… How did you heal me?” She asked bewildered.
“Magic, what else?”
“Magic?... What’s your name?” She asked with a strange smile.
“My name is Yuu.” I said as I left.
At the same time, with a movement of my hand I threw a card at her.
[ Continual Remembrance ]
D-rank Card: Touch the target with the card to activate. Force the target to continuously remember a precise moment and the feeling it felt at that moment.
Item duration: One month.
[Condition: Usable On Women Only]
With this, she’ll continuously remember the same scene every day… Continuously remembering how she was saved the moment she was dying, helpless… I wonder how she’ll become.
At that moment, I didn’t realize how strong the effect of that card actually was, neither the fact that the woman’s injury wasn’t caused by the thug…
That woman actually was the biggest monster I’ve ever seen…
* * * * *
After Yuu left, the woman stood up with a strange smile.
“How interesting~, I wonder how he managed to make something that even I found impossible come true.”
“Yuu?... I’ll definitely remember you.”
Walking toward the unconscious thug, a shred smile formed on the woman’s face. Raising her foot above his head, the very next instant the thug died, his head crushed under into meat paste.
The blood that flew on her body didn’t seem to bother her, after a few seconds she lost interest in the dead body and walked further in the alley.
“Kekeke, two left…”
The next day, people found out in a certain alley a certain amount of bodies completely dismembered. The whole area was stained with so much blood that one wouldn’t think a human could bleed so much.
Some walls were destroyed and some teeth could be found encrusted in what remained of them. Nobody could tell how many people died… Neither who they were.
