Gemini went alone to Cornerstone. He walked the field until he sat next to the four bodies. They were still as lifeless as when he first saw them. This was all very crazy but being a world filled with powers and monsters, crazy wasn't really out of reach.
He looked down at the beads. Four of them. Each with their own radiance. These were the souls of his beloved friends carelessly resting in his hands. Now, it was a matter of placing them back in the right bodies. But how?
None of them had any indication of a name. None of them really looked different from the other, save the different colors. He sighed and closed his eyes.
"Tolvia," he said. "I need your help once more. I need to reunite these spirits to their respective bodies. I need my friends to be whole again. Please, I beg of you, what should I do?"
Gemini waited in silence for an answer. He waited and waited. He sighed seeing that an answer wasn't coming. "You want me to figure this out on my own. Is that it?"
Gemini stood up. Why couldn't he just know these things? He was the one person that can restore them. That he knew for sure. Being Tolvia's sole guardian, there was no one else that could. Then his eyes lit up.
Wait. Just like he healed the souls of others that were connected to the body, what if he could..? He took one of the beads, and placed it close to his chest. He hoped this worked. He really hoped this worked.
"Hello?" a voice said. Gemini smiled as he recognized the familiar tone.
"Patrice, it's me, Gemini."
"Gemini? Where am I? I can't see anything!"
Guess that's not too hard to imagine. She was a soul within a bead. He then pressed the bead closer. Maybe this would help open her soul a bit more.

"What do you see now?" Gemini asked.
The voice was still. Then she said, "I...I see you."
Patrice was looking from within Gemini's empty vessel. An area reserved to heal damaged souls. There was a solid glass floor and darkness as far as the eye could see. However, in the midst of the darkness stood Gemini. Dots of white light evaporated from his body.
Gemini walked towards Patrice. "So, how do you feel? Not often I have repeat visitors to my soul vessel."
"No problems here, I feel fine. But, why is it so dark in here? And why does it feel like my entire soul is in here this time?"
Gemini shrugged. "It's dark because I'm wiped. If I had more energy, I might decorate next time. As for the soul question, your entire soul is in here. Though I fancy it's more comfy than the bead you were in."
"Beads? I'm in a bead right now?"
"Yeah, a soul bead. One of the first I've ever seen. But, I need to return you to your body."
Patrice nodded. "Do what you must."
Gemini removed the bead from his chest and placed in on Patrice's chest. He repeated this cycle with the other beads until he eventually had all the beads placed on the respective person. Although, placing the souls from the beads into their bodies may not be as simple.
This probably wasn't different from how he did it with the citizens. So, he decided to do just that. He placed his hand over Barum's chest. He closed his eyes as he did so. "In all that is good and true. Body and soul you must renew. Return back from whence you came. Give life once again in this Veithan's name."
He then opened his eyes and looked at Barum. The bead burst in a flash of light and immediately dissipated as Barum still laid motionless. Just then, Barum sat up and gasped loudly for air. When his breathing finally came back to normal, he turned to Gemini, who was several feet away with eyes as wide as saucers.
"Sorry, did I scare you?" Barum laughed.
"Yes, yes you did. I hope the others don't do the same," Gemini said, slightly panting.
He continued the cycle with the other Integras. They all came back to life and they all sat up. Gemini smiled. They were guardians full of life and laughter once again.
Gemini then fell on his back and let out a deep sigh. It was over. The trouble was really over. At least for the time being. He then felt a slight kick to his side. He looked up to notice Barum kicking him.
"You can't sleep on the job yet. We have to get Drexel for what he's done!" Barum said.
"Says the person I had to release from my soul vessel kicking and screaming. I know it was peaceful but geez."
The others started laughing. Barum blushed. Yep, everything was right with the world.
