Gemini nosedived from the sky. Rain pelted him as he pierced through the skies of Veith. It was early evening and the people still went on as usual. As the land came closer into view, he summoned his dual blade and began to twirled it. He twirled it so fast that it blew wind downward. The wind slowed down his fall. When he was only a few yards from the ground, he stopped the twirling and landed on his feet.
He was on the roof of a building within Kindrala once more. Too bad. It would've worked much better if he landed right where he saw Cassie's vision. But now wasn't the time to wallow on the situation. He had to act fast. The other Integra, Trex, may be of help in this situation. He knew he couldn't pull this off all on his own.
In any case, he jumped off the building and landed among the streets of the region.
He began running through the streets and decided to pay two certain villages a visit.
~
The Advent village. Located just a few miles east of Bulai, this place was where many warriors assembled under the eye of Trex herself. These warriors, however, were varied. Extremely varied. Some wore capes. Others doned hats and whips. These warriors lived outside the civilization, and there was a clear reason why they were never allowed outside the village. They held too much power and few reasoning skills. And since Earth related to Tolvia, a revelation concerning them came to Gemini's mind.
They were the dreams of many children wanting to be heroes. It would make sense considering they all wanted to save something. They always wanted to make a difference. Nevertheless, their lack in reasoning meant all the crime fighting was left to the Integras.
However, desperate times called for desperate measures. They were needed.
He entered through the gate, and witnessed the chaos that was Advent village. All of them were hopping about. Sparring with one another without any regard to anyone around them. Yet, none of them seemed to mind the disorder among them.
Gemini decided to walk through the battles and walk into one of the huts. He looked towards the girl sitting on the ground and smiled. He came to right place. "Trex, nice to see you again."
The girl sported long black hair, which was tied into a ponytail. She sat with her eyes closed.
"Gemini, what is it that you want?"
"I need your help."
The girl raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And by what reason do I owe this pleasure?"
"It's Drexel."
Trex closed her eyes and sighed. "Not interested."
Gemini's eyes widened. "Trex! I need to-."
"Gemini," Trex yelled, "I need you to understand I won't hunt down my own brother!"
"You know what he's become. Why must you do this?"
"One, you tasked me to watch over this madhouse. How can I even leave here to do much else? Two, he has yet to bother me."
He sighed. He knew this wouldn't be easy. "Trex. Frey, Patrice, Weis, and Barum. He killed them."
Trex winced. "I...I know."
Gemini furrowed his brow. "Come again?"
"I know he did. One of my contacts in Bulai relayed the message. But, hunting him down with his power will do us no good! You've seen what he and his Nocturn army can do!"
Gemini pointed outside the hut. "Even with his Nocturn army, look outside. I think we can stand a chance."
Trex stood up. "You know as good as I that they are too unstable for such a fight. They will do much more harm than good!"
"Not necessarily," a voice said from the distance.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
Trex and Gemini turned around and saw a lady walk in. It was Mason's dream counterpart, the doctor from his vision.
"What do you mean, Tranqil?" Trex said, raising an eyebrow.
Tranqil cleared her throat. "It's true that most of them are unstable, but I've came across a few that may be of help. Three in particular show promise."
"Any reason why she's here?" Trex asked.
"I was looking for some help from another village, and she came to mind. If even one Advent was stable, she would know." Gemini said. "Besides, this is right up Tranqil's expertise. She took the invite pretty willingly."
Trex pinched the temple of her nose. "This is great and all, but what about the other hundreds of Advents? Who's going to watch them?"
Gemini grinned and whistled. A crew of 20 men stepped into the tent. "These guys from Virtin may be of use. They know a thing or two about keeping order."
Trex sighed.
Gemini turned back to Tranqil. "So, who do you have?"
Tranqil bowed and smiled. "Follow me."
And with that they followed behind the doctor. Mason, even though she didn't know it, was of more help than she realized.

It was late evening, and the northern region was quiet. Many people lumbered into their homes. Gemini watched as the patter of rain soothed his mind. He stood in the tree and observed the peaceful scene. But he knew this was the calm before the real storm.
An orb floated next to him. "What do you see? Did he arrive yet?" the orb said.
"Not yet, Trex. But wait on my signal."
"Will do."
The silence still echoed throughout the area. Gemini knew Trex had to lay low. This would be a surprise ambush. A war that Drexel did not want. He thought by killing off most of the Integras, he could overtake all that's left. He was wrong. Dead wrong.
What was startling, however, was that Drexel decided to conquer Trutess, a very disciplined warrior community. None of the citizens were as strong as the Integras but could hold their own with hunting, gathering and the occasional Nocturn encounter. Drexel could use the land to raise up a powerful army. But that wouldn't be right. He stated himself that he would be removing all inhabitants. If he meant either exile or death, it didn't matter. Either choice was a bad choice.
Just then, a scatter of feet could be heard in the distance. Gemini looked at the further edge of the town. It was monsters similar to the other village. However, they were thicker than before. Their muscles were bulged and well defined. He would only hope his new crew stood a chance.
"They're here," Gemini whispered.
"Roger," Trex responded. A moment of silence passed before she asked, "What will you do to my brother?"
"Capture him and soak him in the Amnesia Sea. Make him forget who he is," Gemini said.
"You can't! Wouldn't be better if you maimed him or something?"
"As much as I would like that as an option, it's pretty clear he's not going to stop this. I don't like the idea any more than you do but what other choice do we have?"
Silence echoed on the other end. "How about I take him on then? I'll bring him to his senses."
Gemini's eyes widened. "What? No! I'm the only one that stands a chance in fighting him!" At least in his mind, he was the only that stood a chance. He was the strongest among the Integras being the literal son of Tolvia.
"Then let's fight him together. But, please, don't force him to forget who he is. He's not bad. He's not this way on purpose."
Gemini shook his head. This was ridiculous. The former Integra has turned mass murderer yet she wants to keep him untouched. Gemini sighed. Truth be told, he wanted to as well. But he couldn't forget the main reason for this fight was for the little girl. At all costs, they had to save Cassie.
She was caught up in a war that didn't involve her but yet, her powers would deem otherwise. Why was part of Tolvia reborn inside of her? What was the reason to do so? And what about others like her? How many truly exists? Well, possibly one more being Mason.
The monsters slowly walked throughout the town. In front of all the monsters was a fairly small monster. A monster similar to Gemini in height. It walked through the village and peered everywhere. It then walked into the center of the city. Afterward, it let out a loud cry, which sounded almost human.
All the other monsters ran and began forming a large circle around the village. The cry seemed to alert them to create an orderly formation. These monsters were never this organized before.
Just then, many of the residents exited their homes to see what the commotion was about. Now, this seemed rather idiotic to Gemini. Why rush towards the cry when it clearly came for a vicious animal? Then again, when he got closer to the village, he understood why.
He landed on top of a roof. Luckily, the monster was close enough to see clearly. And to his surprise, it looked like a small child! Even though, it looked was just like the other monsters just minutes ago!
All the people gathered around the child in curiosity. Probably wondering why a child was out alone in the pouring rain. Gemini gritted his teeth. This was clearly a trap. He summoned the orb once more. "Trex, you need to move! Draw them away from the child! I and the others will take care of the monsters outside the village."
"Roger," Trex replied. Within seconds, her voice boomed from behind the villagers. "Hey! Don't come any closer to the child!"
"What?" the people replied.
Trex ran and held the child at knife point. "The child is a monster! Listen to me, get back!"
The people slowly stepped back. It was clear that they didn't want to jeopardize the "child". Gemini shook his head. This clearly would make her out to be the bad guy. But she was smart. He trusted her judgement and competency to take care of the situation. He jumped off the building and proceeded with the plan.
"Fighters," he said to the orb, "Are you all in position?"
"Roger," multiple voices said on the other end.
"Good, let's take these Nocturns down."
