I didn't like the blatent symbol of my failure on the table, but it still had use, so no destroying crystals to queel my seething wrath.

I just let it lay there till the next time I can use it, more importantly I needed to plan what I wanted to do.

I had an idea about getting a slave, making them make an oath of complete loyalty, then freeing them. Then I would have a free commoner that has the same level of loyalty as a slave, if I'm smart about it I could make 'em a knight or even a baronet. But that wouldn't work at the moment, I don't have the freedom to do what I want yet 'For now I'll go inside of the dungeon and let them work on the revolver.'

At that moment a slave servant came in and carefully gave it to me, if a slave makes a mistake in what the duke ordered of them they would turned into feed. After the dagger was in my small hands, the slave said "The duke ordered me to bring this to you, may I take my leave?" They said it calmly, as they should, they were trained in this since birth.

Anwsering them I said "You may." in a condesending tone.

They bowed while saying "Thank you your grace." Then left.

I placed the dagger on the table, then forgot about it. I started thinking about what I could do 'I could do enchantment, but that's a very secret art that isn't inside the drake house's public library or in the royal acadamy's curiculum. I would need to get access to some restricted info from the head's private library, but I'm to young for my father to give me it.'

Then Osgar opened the door, making me wonder if I should get a lock instaled. I asked Osgar "How long does the smithy think it'll take for it all to be made?"

Osgar said to anwser me "about two weeks, which is pretty good for what you asked for them to make."

I nodded and said "Can you set up a dungeon run in the light dungeon for four days in two?"

Osgar said "Yea I can, in that time I'll get the forge, anvil, and carpenter station set up."

I made a small smile and said "Good, good. Remember to check in by the smithy and workshop."

Osgar laughed and said "Yes, yes." Then hurridly walked away, and I had nothing interesting to do.

I chose to do mana stuff, see if Erebus could get the 'mana manipulation' skill while grinding my 'Mana weaver' skill. When my mana was up I just ran around, in the forest section of the pen. I usualy don't let the beast's roam there, because I like to have them in my line of sight. I saw it as training, being able to traverse in rough terrain is a good asset. I may get a parkour skill if I do parkour, but I was just traversing the forest.

Time really flew by, it was the end of the day and I felt like only an hour passed. I looked at my gains and I saw that I gained 2 levels for 'Mana weaver', what I gained was a better intuition on mana constructs, and a node that made movement of a construct possible. I really got excited with the new node, I also saw that drake training was progressing, it had a 7%/100% amount of exp. I didn't understand how that exp got there, but then I realized that I was "Training" Erebus in mana usage, but it was different from how I was told how to get exp for it. Not that I'm complaining for the unexpected exp though, but the people in the house think you need to train the drake pysically.

I went to bed, had a nightmare, woke up in a cold sweat at 4 am. I made a light construct, that I still haven't been able to make with only two nodes 'I'll try that new node in the dungeon.' Today was the day that I went back inside of the dungeon with the group, and the day I meet with Hemdal again.

I've been getting very used to using mana constructs, and have still beem trying to perfect the light construct. It always just dissapates, it's super annoying and irritating.

I just played with mana and stuff, till it was time for the dungeon run. Which was around 11 am, then I arrived at the gate of the house with Erebus only. I chose to actually pay attention to the land around the mansion/fortress, particually where the town is. it was north of the gate, about a 5 minute walk away. The mansion was built in hilly terrain, on the biggest hill. On the outside the mansion was the size of a big mansion from the english in my old world, but in the inside it felt like it was the size of rome, but in reality it was probably an above average city.

I always found it weird that an entire blood line would be called a house, they're were more like a clans from cultivation land to me. The only thing similar to my old world is that the emperor can give noble titles based on contribution to the empire, and can also take it away; including the land and riches that come with it for corruption, rebeling, or other crimes.

While I was thinking I was given the now familiar spatial ring, it was still weird and disorienting to have an item appear in my hand or infront of me, but I'll get used to it. Absentmindedly I put on the weapons belt, the pouches with knives, and short sword with a hilt with a size befitting of my small hands.

Erebus asked me [What are those things anyway.]

I realized something with that question; Erebus had no idea what tools and weapons were {I'll teach you while exploring the dungeon.} And he excepted it easily, I was happy having a sentient and inteligent creature instead of a brain-dead beast. Teaching it was benificial to me, I happily accepted it being inquisitive; Erebus being wary and hard to trick will always be accepted, it's not like I'll meet Erebus after my death and rebirth.

It seemed that all the participants had arrived, and I saw Hemdal in the crowd. When our eyes met he nodded, to it I nodded back and mouthed to him the word "Dungeon" or the Icarus equivalent of it. After that I turned around and mounted Erebus, it looked uncomfortable .

I realized that my mind has gotten more perceptive in the last days, it must be me having important tasks that needed attention.

The gates opened and we moved east from the gate, the whole journey I was wondering what I could do with slaves and if I should go to the city ect.

When I came to, we arrived at a different location then the last dungeon I came to with this mandatory exercise. The leader yelled "Enter!" And the most of the group entered excitedly, while some entered calmly, afraid, nervously, or sad. I was with the calm ones, including Hemdal.

The dungeon was hot and warm, there was red lizards instead of rats or weird squirrels. there were small pools of lava far and few between.

When we entered, I dismounted Erebus and instead of tuning the one charge out. I listened thinking it might be usefull, and the things he said was "Today there are no new people in our ranks! As so I will anounce the ranks! 93st Colom!" and a kid made a sad expression, they anounced the 'ranks' and I'll skip to when they anouced mine "11th Able! Sorry oh great heir, you were so close!" Most were shocked at that, and they continued announcing those 'ranks'. the top ten was given something after they were told their rank, I wondered what data this 'rank' was decided with and chose to ask Hemdal about it.

When thay were done I signaled Hemdal to come over towards me, while I walked away into another branch of caves.

I moved around with no thoughts about staying close to the group, I sat down thinking waiting for Hemdal. It took a bit for him to actually apear infront of me, he appeared alone without anyone following. Looks like he isn't really well known or hated, that's good.

I said "Hello, welcome to my layer. what we're going to do to day is run around, killing those salamanders and see how good you are." I looked away and stood up, I walked away but then realized something I wanted to still tell him "Also if you have any questions, don't expect any anwsers. I reserve the right to at any time, not to anwser your questions due to me not wanting to anwser."

Hemdal nodded, seeing his face reminds me of the extreme panic I had when he yelled out "I know you have plans to rule the world!" (Nobody is saying it, the mc is remembering another what character said) or was it something else? eh, who cares.

I got myself ready for mana things, by that I mean I took out my sword and walked around looking for one of those red lizards. I don't know what kind, I'm not a reptile expert. No ,I'm not even a reptile enthousiast.

I quickly found one, I was getting pretty good at it. I guess experience is the best teacher, and I was going to put that to the task. I pointed at the lizard and said "Hemdal, kill that."

Hemdal said to that "Ok." Then His komodo ran at the lizard, striked at the lizard with its claws, and the lizard died. It droped a scale, I didn't know a scale would drop. At least Hemdal has a pretty good beast, I wouldn't need to baby sit him while he grinded up to a higher level.

I looked at Hemdal and said "Come on, it's lizard huntin' season" And I again walked around searching for more prey, and man it was way easier to find the lizards then dintyles.

The lizard charged at me, then jumped to bite me in the neck. But they made a fatal mistake, I had an easy counter to this weaklings unprofound attack.

I stepped out of the way and cut through the lizard with a acane infused attack, and sliced of the head cleanly.

The screen said the lizard was called a "small ember gecko" got the essence fix, I wanted to see how 'Arcane skinning' would tell me to do with scales. It told me to get rid of meat for ease of harvesting the scales, so I made an opening in the stomach. I cut of pieces of flesh through that hole till the corpse was hollow, then I ripped the scales of. But the thing is that most of the scales were pretty bad quallity, there was one scale bigger than the others that had a far better quality. it was on it's back on the place closest to the heart, weird.

I threw away all the scales exept the best one, it didn't have great quality due to inexperienced hands. I thought of it as nothing and went to searching for another one of those geckos.
