Chapter 40-

Red's POV

The next day Galie and Lidie had decided on something, with large strides they went towards the lobby of the Inn and they unbooked their rooms.

=Red, Max we are leaving=

Both of them said at the same time, they didn't care if Max and Red would follow them, after all they had stayed in this continent for too long already.

"Where do you think you are going!"

Max shouted, he was furious, the reason behind was that he couldn't travel with a 5years old npc, it was too dangerous and leaving the imperial city was too dangerous to begin with, how could he risk "Program's life", isn't it rather strange if after all that he had said before he still followed them.

"What do you want you have selected your companion yourself, you selected a program over a real person"

Galie said rather angry herself.

Max was confused, it was true that he had overeacted over a non human being, an npc, a small cute npc that however reminded him that he had some hope of being with Lidie once more.

"I won't let you go!"

Max said while he blocked their path out of the Inn.

"Costumers please don't fight in my humble inn"

The Innkeeper said afraid that they would begin fighting like many other players had before them, and of course other than getting a small bounty on their heads non of them payed for the damages.

"Then come to the arena with me and show me that you are worth, I doubt I will even sweat"

Lidie said, as she and Galie went out of the Inn disregarding Max, who had lost his earlier momentum and simply let them leave.

Red didn't really understand what was going on but she didn't really want to leave, here it was paradise and if she was left here with Max, she was sure that with enough time they would make a nice couple.

Right at that moment Program came down the stairs, she was rather small but for her age it was probably the right size to be.

"Dad, are we leaving?"

The child asked somewhat puzzled, it had somehow understood what they were talking about but probably couldn't understand why her father was shouting before.

"No sweety, me and your mother will go and talk about it and return in a while, Red I leave Progie in your care, can I trust you?"

Max said with a serious face, something that made Red melt in her own dreams.

"Sure, leave it all to me"

Red said as she toom the child in her hands and raised her high over her head, the child as if flying was smiling as well.

Red was really happy, but at that moment a rather bad idea hit her, what if Max won.

Max had already left and she didn't have anything planned out other than training with the three mage masters in the afternoon.

"Progie, do you want to see your mom and dad?"

Red asked while whispering.

The child nodded in agreement.

"Then we must go secretly, If we are fast we will get good seats for the show"

Red said while she cast a haste spell on herself and gave Progie a piggyback ride all the way to the arena. It was the same arena where Max and Honda had fought, only that this time there were lines drawn and more than one people were fighting at the same time.

'Did we come to the wrong arena'

Thought Red as they were able to get good seats near the arena but couldn't see not Max neither Lidie fighting.

Red of course wasn't so foolish, she knew that this was the closest arena to their location so why go far away, there probably wasn't enough space or a rather large queue of people fighting at the arena today or some dojo held a tournament. After all the people who were fighting were all using the same fighting style and skills, while also wearing the clothes with the same logo.

Only after the tournament had ended and the crowd somewhat subtided did Max and Lidie come out from the two sides of the arena.

"I won't let you go!"

Shouted Max while wearing a rather luxurious knightly armor and brandishing a two handed greatsword that glowed with strange glyths.

"Are you even a man, you think that just because you are better equiped you can order me around, dream on"

Answered Lidie, she was wearing a rather commonplace armor which she had made herself, it was rather heavy but had the best defence out of all the armors she had made, her weapons a regular looking iron sword and a shield were in her arms, while a second shield and a bow were hanging from her back.

"Who do you think will win you daddy or your mommy?"

Red asked the child that was now sitting on her shoulders.

"Mommy will, because she's super strong"

The girl said, in truth she had seen her mother smithing a few things in her room, well it wasn't really smithing but she was mending some armors and sharpening some plades, making her image in the little girl's eyes much stronger than her father's who was just swinging his sword here and there.

"Good girl, women must always support other women"

Red said while smilling, the little girl had really made her mood.

The crowd was somewhat interested, some of the girls in the crowd could still remember the couple of Max and Lidie, some had even taken photos with them, how did it come to them fighting against each other in the arena and how come Max looked somewhat shameless this time, after all he was using quite high quality equipment this time, while the last time he had junk on him, on the other side Lidie was wearing rather regular if not noobish equipment.

Max and Lidie begun closing in on each other, but before they were close enough to fight Max charged at lidie with a rather loud battlecry, scaring the shit out of her and numerous other spectators.

"Strong..."

said little Progie who nearly pissed on her underwear from the fright, this was the first time she had seen her father this imposing and majestic.

But the distance was already enough for Lidie to come to her senses and defend with her shield.

The first clash opposing all speculations was a draw, Lidie hadn't moved even an inch, while with a move of her shield she redirected the stuck sword that was stuck on the shield to the side as her blade drew first blood with a nice well timed piercing stab.

Max of course was no idiot, he swiftly kicked her away and jumped a few feet backwards with his sword ready to parry any blow. The prior strike might have done some damage but it was simply too meager to count as pain, his armor was too high speck for Lidie's sword, all she could do was the lowest min damage possible, around 1-10, while their life points were now around thousants. Defeating him was nearly impossible if all she did was a meager 1-10 damage, he on the other side would only need one or two hits to finish her off.

Lidie was still holding her shield, which however had a large dent on the top of it, it was a round shield made entirely of metal, she could clearly understand that his sword was not so simple, his second swing might even destroy her shield.

"Max I don't hate you but this is goodbye"

Lidie said as she opened a small circle on the floor next to her and begun throwing swords and daggers inside as well as any junk she had, there were even some loot that they didn't sell when they arrived in the city the first time.

The items fell and disappeared inside the stange glowing hole on the ground, Max knew Lidie's ability but he couldn't understand how would thowing weapons inside the teleportation wormhole help her defeat him.

The hole closed and Lidie smiled while unequiping her shield and sword. Of course she hadn't surrendered but Max was more afraid of an ambush or some trap, after all he didn't know where Lidie had teleported all those weapons. If someone however looked from a little away from the arena he would have seen dozens of weapons rushing in between two shining points in the sky above the arena, while gravity took the job of raising the weapons' speed.

The spectators didn't understand what was going on but they too were captivated from Lidie's statement, they of course didn't know what Lidie's power was so it was even more exciting for them to see.

"What was that light on the ground?"

Asked little Progie, after all she couldn't use psychic powers.

"Oh, that's soul magic, when you get bigger you will also learn how to use it"

Red said, of course the only way for npcs to use something akin to psychic powers was soul magic or what some called Qi practice, while others called it mental or spirit magic but no one in Allastar called it psychic power, although psyche means soul in the first place, so it's not really so far away.

Lidie had now equiped her bow but Max was more concerned about the items she had teleported away.

Before Lidie could even notch her first arrow, Max had doned a helmet and a strange almost invisible forcefield appeared around him.

Earlier he had taken off his helm before entering, seeing as Lidie also wore no helmet but now he couldn't be lenient with her anymore.

This armor and sword were given to him by his mother, two weeks ago. She had come to tell him to court Lidie even tighter and gave him this armor for protection, it was made by the best dwarven blacksmiths and the glyths worked in synch when he wore all the pieces of the armor, making them have three rather miraculous effects, self repair, soul resistance and magic resistance and since they were made by a rather sturdy metal plating, its physical resistance wasn't lacking at all. The helmet, sword and tower shield she gave him however were different, once equiped they would act in synch creating even more buffs for him, the sword raise his damage, the shield his defence value and lastly the helmet would activate a forcefield that would not let any missiles through it.

To the spectators however Max looked like a Tank at the moment, he still hadn't taken out his shield but he already looked reather sturdy and powerful.

The first arrow that flew was deflected instantly, but Max didn't falter, he took out of his inventory his large tower shield and begun wielding the large sword with just one hand, making him seem even more tyranical.

Max at the moment was somewhat lost, the sound of the shield hitting the ground reminded him of how he had rushed to Lidie's room to tell her the great news, but she wasn't there, instead there he found little Progie, malnourished and weak, almost at the brink of death. His fury that day had unlocked something that only berserkers should have, the Rage stat and the berserker's rage skill as well.

His eyes right now were bright red as he remembered that day, but the spectator couldn't see that, only Lidie who was aiming at his head could see the rage on his face. For a moment there their gazes met and she was about to give up but she couldn't, she had to fight, her life no longer belonged to her, it belonged to a cause, in her heart still flared the spark or revolution.

Gathering all her might she notched one arrow after another sending them towards Max while at times small portals appeared here and there, sometimes sending swords flying other times eating the shot arrows redirecting them back at him.

The duel seemed like a battlefield and Max like a War god walked step by stem, each step ending with a sound of the shield touching the ground, the metalic sound of metal rubbing against stone. Lidie's arrows were unable to do even the smallest of damage.

Each step he went forward met a step backwards from from Lidie, she was at the optimal minimal range for using a bow, but even going a step back had to end sometime, in time she had reached the end of the arena, behind her was a wooden wall while, up the wall were the spectators.

Red couldn't tell if this was a twist of fate or not but they were right above Lidie at the moment, with Max coming closer by the second.

Suddenly he charged at Lidie who had momentarily stoped due to reaching the end of the arena, but what she hadn't probably predicted was that the forcefield wasn't simple, the moment it touched her she felt a force pushing her away from Max, instantly gluing her to the wall, powerless to even move.

Max stopped for just a second saying some words to her and then charged with his sword again.

"Lidie, this is your own good and our happiness"

Of course no one could have predicted the outcome would be different, the only winner was the small figure that had fallen from the sky shouting.

"Daddy, don't bully mommy!"

Not only did it fully disarm Max but the figure flying on the forcefield had also disarmed the countless women spectating the match.

Lidie's POV

Lidie was hit the hardest by this defeat, truth was that she was lost completely to Max's armor.

The day before Galie after she saw her crying to lift her self esteem taught her a new psychic power called multiprocessing, it was rather strange but with it she could use more than one psychic powers at once. By a strock of fortune Lidie was quite talented in it and instantly could create four portals at once, while before she could only create two, while training all night she raise the skill to eight portals at once, but the problem was that it took everything out of her.

With such an ace she thought that she could win against him but not only did he win but even the traps she had laid under his feet were useless against his strange armor.

Seeing how Program had jumped from the spectators stands down, Lidie could only smile while a cold tear, a single tear escaped her eye.

Program had called her "mommy", that word was enought to sent her heart into chaos, how could she even stand to confront this npc that thinks that she's its mother.

Program was floating right now on Max's forcefield until of course he took out his helm and caught the falling child.

The cute little devil was simply too adorable for her to see, in only a second and with a rather sad smile on her face a portal opened underneath her sinking her towards her destination.

She never cared about this fight to begin with, winning or losing she would have still left.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

At the city gate Galie was waiting for her return.

"Did he make you change your mind or was he too weak?"

Galie asked somewhat surprised, she had thought that the match would be shorter but she had to wait for at least a few hours.

"Nope, he's still too soft"

Lidie said as they begun walking the road of no return.

Max's POV

Back at the Arena there was an uproar in the crowd of spectators each specultating what this fight was all about, but most eyes were glued on the little child held by the now crying Max.

The arena was full of swords, daggers and arrows but in their midst were Max and Progie, the two of them both looked sad.

"Daddy, why doesn't mommy love us?"

The little child asked, if it wasn't a program it would probably be hard for such a small child to ask such questions.

"Because we are weak...too weak against her"

He said while tears filled his face, but he wasn't weak, with a new renewed spirit he swept his tears with his metalic gauntlet and asked.

"Little Progie, do you want to see your mother again?"

The child nodded affirmatively, somewhat puzzled but he could tell from the little tear on her face that she too wanted love, she too craved for her mother's recognition.

"Then it is settled, Red we are going after them, do you know where they might go next!"

Shouted Max, nearly deafening all the spectators and little Progie, who was now leaking from under her dress.

Jak's POV

On the ruined red moon, Domina and Jak had established a small palace for themselves.

The so called demon lords of Skyrre were pitifully weak, Just at the sight of Domina they surrendered without a fight.

Jak was now lying in a luxurious bed, left behind by the Skyrre aristocracy or something, through the ruins one could find many things but this room was untouched and looked rather alien in design.

The strange crystaline bed that glowed with blue light, a large round mirror on the wall with two jewels embeded on the upper and lower part sticking it to the wall and a strange crystaline table that could be concidered a luxury since most furniture were in ruins.

Jak had logged out numerous times before to live like a human, after all she couldn't even take a bath inside this game making her somewhat irritated.

Of course you wouldn't stink inside the game but she still was too used to being human.

Domina came from the non existant door, since it was long ago destroyed.

"I would have knocked but didn't find the door"

He said laughingly.

Jak wasn't sure why he came tonight but she did have a tiny idea.

He came closer to her, but his demonic mutt made her somewhat disgusted, he looked like a hairy pig with a human body.

"Jak, I want your child!"

He said as his body was over hers.

"Not here, meet me back home"

Jak said, but before she could log out Domina had given her a deep kiss that left her somewhat dazed.

She had tasted his kisses in the real world but here they felt different, she felt excited all of a sudden, her heart racing chaotically, not understanding why she did what she would normaly do returning him a good slap.

"I said at home"

Jak said trying to justify her violent outburst.

She really didn't like this strange uncontrolable feeling she felt right now, but she could tell that it was probably some game skill.

Domina however didn't leave, as he was on top of her he begun going through her body with his strange conic claws touching her skin softly as if they were fake. She was angry but at the same time she was excited, she could feel a strange jolt passing through her body, awakening feelings she didn't knew that she had about him. To begin with they were only to gether because of what happened, she had not strong feelings for him other than a sense of ownership, he was hers and she was his, that was their only bond, but at the moment she felt somewhat funny.

Suddenly his fingers passed near her most sensitive parts, she couldn't help but pant as his touch erroded her senses. She tried to gather all her willpower to resist the temptation but his claws wouldn't let her. Passing softly over her skin, no forced movements, no violence just a soft sweet sensation that surpassed her wildest dreams.

Kiss after kiss fell onto her body and before she knew it, he was already inside her. She didn't resist, didn't complain, it felt like he understood her so well, each of his movements had just the right strength to not cause her pain but still be felt. Panting and soft cries of love could be heard from the room and suddenly ended as Domina came out of the room leaving Jak sleeping inside.

Domina's face suddenly twisted and dissapered into a strange mist revealing the Devil's smiling face.

Inside Domina's room, a rather erotic shriek could be heard as Domina was fucking someone he thought was Jak.

A few weeks had passed and she and the fake Domina had decided to have a child together, she didn't know why Domina was so good inside the game but every time she met Domina, the real one, they could agree that it was their best moments together, they had even agreed to have a child together.

Time passed and now she and Domina were in the same room as before, she didn't know why but this time he felt somewhat different.

"Jak I think that I'm in love with you once more"

Domina said, it was his most sincere tone but Jak felt that there was something wrong at the moment.

"There is no need for talk"

Jak said as she hugged Domina, but this time she felt somewhat strange, his strange thick fur tickled her body but she was to infatuated with him to care.

They were in unison, as if they were meant for eachother, their panting and breath was in synch and they were really passionate. The both of them were trained real well. Domina had become a little more soft in his handling and Jak was now a lot more submissive.

One action brought another and both of them were now lying on the floor, he on the floor and she on his fur.

They of course didn't know that all this was a rather illustious plan devised by the Devil, all he needed was a little npc child. Demons don't bear children and Skyrres had difficulty conceiving and due to their long lifespawn they didn't really need to. To open the portal the demon needed a sucrifice, but the sacrifice had to be a baby otherwise the whole plan wouldn't work. The Devil could tell that they weren't really compatible in the sexual domain so he begun training them to make them as close as he could shooting some random talk about a child and marriage.

The plan was foolproof since he used illusions and curses to make both of them experience about the same things, although with some difference but the same. Domina would probably fall dead if he knew that he had beed fucking the Devil all those times, while Jak would have probably killed herself after killing him of course.

In a week there was a small human baby, in reality it had some demonic energies but it was a human non the less. Stealing the baby was a piece of cake since both Jak and Domina had to sleep at some time.

Well Domina didn't really have to sleep but he had the habit of sleeping at night.

The Devil sneakily entered Jak's room, she was sleeping soundly with the baby in her arms.

The npc baby was well programed not to annoy its parents when they sleep.

The Devil had everything planned, the ritual for opening the portal to Allastar was ready and only the offering was left. The whole ritual wouldn't last for more than two hours and by that time he could easily escape to Allastar and there slowly rise to prominence as a new god.

The plan was perfect and the child was in his hands, but even the most foolproof plan could still be ruined by no other than a fool.

"What are you doing with the mistresses baby?"

Yummy asked, she by sheer chance was "patroling" the hall tonight, of course no one used to do so but Yummy wanted to go for a walk and while passing outside of Domina's room, when he asked her if she was patrolling she said "Yes" and he said her to continue doing the good job.

"Oh, Yummy haven't seen you in a while, I was taking the child for a walk"

The Devil said as he approached her seemingly to show her the baby's face.

Yummy wasn't really interested in things like that but she still lowered her head to look at the baby's face.

"Isn't it still sleeping?"

These were Yummy's last words, as her armor cracked and shattered, as her body was absorbed rapidly by the Devil's filthy hands, giving him not a little boost in demonic energy.

"Delicious!"

The Devil said as he left the crime scene.

As if it was divine providence, at that moment Jak woke up, in truth her hands felt somewhat empty.

She was a little slow to understand that her baby was missing but when she did a stream of creams begun flooding the whole palace. Domina was of course the first to rush towards his wife, they had by now passed the stage of boyfriend and girlfriend, they felt that they were ready to try something more serious, but right now their hearts were anxious.

The Doom knights were of no use since they didn't even stand guard or anything, they were all staying in large rooms waiting like idiots, not even talking with one another, looking like normal game monsters.

Yummy was probably the only one of them with just a tip of intelligence as the others were complete idiots.

Domina and Jak after searching through the palace turned their gaze towards the Dome, their thoughts targeted the ones they couldn't find anywhere in the palace, Yummy and the Devil, mostly the last one, since he was rather intelligent and probably the only one able to come up with such a scheme.

Rushing towards the Dome like the wind Domina and Jak found that the Dome's entrance was blocked by a blood colored forefield. Even Domina's strength couldn't do anything to it. Domina right now cursed himself for chosing the Demon race, if he had his psychic powers this forcefield would have been nothing. Spells, skills even their guardian options were powerless to change their situation.

Six days the forcefield stood in place blocking both their path and view, there was no way to know if the child was dead or alive, but Jak was going paranoid the more time passed, Domina had to do his best to stop her from killing herself. She had seriously taken the npc program as her own child, their child.

Domina was worried to death for her, he had even tried to shout curses at Darknym in a desperate attempt to summon an even more terrifying Devil, but all his cries fell on deaf ears.

Six days of Agony after the forcefield fell and all they could find inside the Dome was a Portal, today was the day they would have been asked whether their baby would grow or not, but even as they sat looking at the blood red portal they could do nothing but grip their fists hard awaiting to see if their child was still alive.

Two doom knight suddenly appeared before them, one was carrying a cloth, while the other a red envelop with a golden stump. Jak run to the cloth while Domina for the letter.

Dear Domina&Jak

You can be happy with your small kingdom on Skyrre but my Majesty can't be sealed away on that Dump.

I had already told you of my plan from the first day that you turned immortal, the plan was rather simple as well, all it needed was a stupid human sacrifice.

I had first thought that as an Adventurer miss Jak would gladly open the portal but you were both too stupid, after all she would be revived by the Godly laws so where was the problem, I even made another offer, after all you were in a relationship of sorts, I know that to adventurers us locals are nothing so I thought that you wouldn't mind if I took a child, after all you can spawn them in just a week's time unlike us locals.

Lastly the nights we passed together were rather banal, Domina you are really too violent, but your girlfriend was rather hot.

See you again, THE DEVIL.

The letter was rather badly written but what made them both shoked was that the letters were written in a stange red dye, probably blood.

Domina didn't want to show the letter to Jak in fear that she might do something stupid but it was already too late, Jak used her own power on herself,

turning her body into pieces and she had died.

You have to understand that the Demons and especially the one called The Devil were never supposed to leave the Demon realm(Data Dumpster), He was a rather overpowered failed creation, but the most terrifying thing about it was that it was supposed to be an Immortal boss for another world, but was called off due to problems with its interaction with the players, it was simply too evil by human standards.

The Devil would take utilize any weakness in the human psyche making it somewhat dangerous, in reality it could turn a human being crazy inside the game and even affect the human's daily life and way of thinking, corrupting the player with power but in the end it would always throw the human away after taking what it was after, leaving the player in a rather shitty mood, in reality one of the test subjects for the Devil beta commited suicide, he was given everything inside the game and didn't want to go out, but in the end the Devil left him resulting in him losing everything, he simply thought that he couldn't do anything by himself anymore, thus leaving the Devil to rot in the Data dumpster called Demon world. In reality all the demons there were failed creations, prototypes for npcs, monsters and even races from other worlds.

Domina could only kneel before Jak's dead body, he knew that Jak wouldn't come back to life anymore, but he still couldn't find the strength to believe it.

A powerful roar came from the Dome and only one command.

"Invade, Destoy everything, Destoy this world, Find and Destoy that DEVIL!"
