Truth is Levels are not everything in FSK, although levels do give a large advantage since they can boost your character's stats by 10 points with each level, truth is it only matters after your stats reach 100, making it harder to gain stats. In FSK gathering plants and other stuff will give you a general skill or level up a profession skill. General skills are seen in the status screen while for profession he has to open the profession screen which I haven't completed yet.
In general he could reach Level 20 without any problem if he wanted to or cared about it, but his target is to have fun and mob hunting with others is not what an antisocial person would do easily.
Monsters In FSK are not easy to hunt and aggression is not the same as in other games, the monsters might or might not attack on sight, they even might flee without fighting because they are not in the mood to fight. Monsters in FSK like NPCs have personalities and small differences per Individual, although truth is I haven't thought a lot about it before you asked.
========================================================================
Today he had a strange surprise as he entered the game, In the World selection screen he saw he had a message in Altgaia.
He loggen in Altgaia out of curiosity and his doorbell rung, when he appeared inside his futuristic apartment. He opened the door knowing that only Npcs could enter his apartment anyway. His visitors were two Men in black or more likely a man and a woman clad in black suits. The man's eyes had a strange crystalline glow, while the crossdressing woman wearing a black suit said.
"Are you sure this weakling is an agent material Max?"
The brute of a man raised his arm, Darknym's danger sense begun tingling. Darknym wanted to close the door on their stupid faces but decided otherwise since it was only a game even if they killed him he would just revive anyway.
"Max, what the fuck are you doing?"
Darknym said in a furious voice The large man seamed a bit lost as he looked back and forth at him and the crossdressing woman.
"Well at least he has some potential"
She said in a sly voice while kicking the large man on the foot, making a large metallic noise and he let his arm fall at Darknym who sidestepped letting it fall but in midair it changed its trajectory hitting him straight in the ribs. It didn't pain but it was a strange feeling, somewhat close to pain.
"Can you do that again?"
Darknym said in an excited tone, it felt almost like a normal punch.
"What?"
the crossdessing lady said with a worried expression.
'did we hit him too hard that he broke'
She must have thought.
"But it felt almost like a real punch, I want to make sure it's the real deal"
Darknym said half-joking Max was about to hit him but the woman stopped him with her own hand.
"You Idiot, you'll kill him wait at least until we get him to the HQ, I don't want to wait another 10 minutes for him to revive"
Max looked a little lost but in the gave in to her logic.
"I'm Geda and this is Max, Since you didn't come to the HQ we were sent to get you"
"Well other than the rather violent introduction, I am Darknym and wait a minute for me to heal and I'll come with you"
he entered in the healing pod and in a few second He was back to full health.
"Can you hit me again?"
He said seeing the boost in endurance he got from just one of Max's fists.
"Later, Max"
Geda said as escorted him out and Into a strange futuristic car.
"So, you guys are agents?"
Darknym asked
Geda laughed slightly before answering
"Evidently you know nothing about yourself, do you?"
"All I know is I'm supposed to hunt aliens or something"
"Well that's the gist of it, but the dark reality is that you are a product with a serial number like us, they can detect you anywhere you go and bring you back to the Agency"
Darknym's mood darkened a bit, as it felt more close to his own miserable reality.
"Well at least we aren't monitored all the time, right"
Darknym said trying to be optimistic
"Only if you acquire a special license, that allows use of the best gear"
Geda said.
He thought about it for a moment and let the thought go.
"By the way why doesn't Max ever talk?"
"It...takes too much process power"
Max said in a strange mechanized voice
"Max is a prototype cyborg, with a little speech problem but he's an overpowered war machine in the heat if real action"
'Well If his punch feels so real It means he must be as powerful as a giant from Allastar'
"I do believe he has the brute strength but his Intelligence seams a bit lacking"
Darknym said a bit worried about their response to it.
"Believe me in our job Intelligence is the least of the requirements"
She said with a smirk on her face.
"So basically what you are trying to say is, we are said what to do and do it like we are said, right?"
Geda smiled and said "We're here" as the car stopped at a Huge building with so many floors that it lacked little to a skyscraper. He was escorted inside the building and they entered the elevator, he didn't know how long it took it to stop or if they were going up or down but it took a while, Geda and max were now in serious business mode, they were as if they had lost every inch of emotion from their faces.
When they reached "some" floor and exited the elevator he saw another two Agents waiting for them in a large room with a giant screen and a long sofa.
The Dandy fellow appeared in the Mega Screen on the wall.
"Welcome to the Headquarters and until you join some Independent agency you will be under our command, you will begin your training as an agent today, over"
And as suddenly it had lit up ,the screen, shut down again.
A man in black came forward, he was young and seemed happy for some reason.
"I'm Luther and you will be under my care from now on"
He said as he went towards another room.
The last person in the black suit did talk but without his mouth moving.
-I'm VZ9 you can call me wiz-
The mechanical voice was a bit strange but clear as if it came from a telephone.
Geda seemed more relaxed after Luther left the room.
"Let's go to the kitchen and have you something to eat" she said with a smile.
As they got there She became even more talkative than before.
"This is one of the only three places not supervised, so you can talk freely here, the other two are the toilets and the baths, well it's not like the kitchen is such a private place but the surveillance device in here is broken and nobody cares about fixing it, costs too much, well at least until next year's maintenance"
"By the way what's up with Luther"
"he's the leader of our team"
-An 100% pure human-
Wiz added
'Is this some sort of racistic behavior'
He thought as he didn't want to become the outcast of the group like Luther, not that he liked the guy anyway, he was too handsome.
"So what are the plans for today?"
"Probably basic training, you know to gain the Agent profession"
Geda said
"If I let's say die will I appear inside the HQ or in my room?"
He asked
"The HQ, until you end your mission and complete the basic training of an Agent, although I higly doubt you will die from it"
"By the way your face is melting"
Darknym pointed out as Geda's face became somewhat strange like a melting jelly.
"Don't mind it, it happens when I relax the morphing function, it will gain it's new shape in a few minutes"
'A bit messed up but whatever'
He thought, while seeing her face becoming a gelatinous substance. He so hoped he hadn't seen the process but he wasn't soft, he ate his food while hearing the other speak about their past missions and how they hated Luther but could do nothing about it.
"Can I ask a question?"
"Ask...away"
Said max with his broken speak
"If you hate it here why do you stay in the agency?"
"You really are a newbe, just stay to your business and don't talk any shit in front of the leader, they are so stupid that they might even attack you"
He was skeptic but decided to drop the subject for some other time.
"So I have no time deadline to train right?"
"Well yes"
Geda replied
And the next moment he logged out and entered Destros.
============================================================
Destros
He saw his Hp and stamina as welll as genes were at 50%. Normally that's what you get if you don't log in for some time but for him the interval between deaths was 10hours. He probably had 5 hours of playing before dying.
The other thing that had changed were three stooges with strange scrap armors who had made a large tent next to the Water tank.
One of whom was now talking to him
"Noob get out of our Land, don't you see the flag of the Land raiders"
He was a bit surprised at the moment.
"How exactly did it become your land?"
"Don't you know the rules, he who reaches the spawn point first has bids on it"
"Then It most likely should belong to me"
Answered Darknym
"And why Is that?"
Another said with a belittling tone
"Because I've been on this spawn point for the last two weeks, and don't remember seeing you at all"
"Do you even have proof?"
The guy in the center said while the other two were clinging to some strange weapons.
"Like what proof would that be?"
"Lets say the seeds from the farm over there"
"I already ate them but I do have a staff made of the farm's foundations and a bunch of stuff made of the nylon from the farm's remains"
A strange lightning stroke at him from the fat one from the back, of his 337 health he was now down to 50Hp making the three of them a bit irritated as they went for the kill, their names became red as they charged at him. He immobilized the one with a wooden club with nails and put him in front of himself, The others were shocked on how fast he had grasped his hand and captured him and begun secretly draining his life.
While his target was trying to get free the other two, one with a strange staff that shot lightnings and the other with a sword were now trying to get a nice angle at him and a chance to free their teammate. A few seconds after their teammate was drained of all life, Darknym throwing his corpse at the guy with the staff rushed at the guy with the sword.
His Hp were now full again and he had gained some gene Integrity. The guy with the sword was more prepared than the one with the club, he pierced him through with the sword making a 120damage but The problem was that at the same time he could not take out his sword that Darknym had grasped with his hand, while the other grasped at the neck.
He turned his captured pray to stand between him and the person with the stuff and begun draining him of his life points while he tried to get free.
Either they were weak or the system had calculated some special parameters since the sword was still stuck in his belly.
"You monster!"
the last person shouted as the swordsman fell down out of Hp. Darknym took the sword out of his guts and thew it at the last member who was now trying to gain some distance showing him his back.
by some twist of fate the sword hit center and the man with the staff fell to the ground, he was not dead but he didn't have the chance to get up before he was caught by his grip and drained of all his lifeforce.
He now knew their names as they had shone in a bright red color before they died but they didn't know his. that looked like "???" to them.
He wanted to loot their stuff but his Inventory space was completely full. He took only the lightning staff. As he examined it he saw that it only had one charge left and he knew exactly where he would use it if his other plan was screwed and Ellie didn't open the door for him. He now also had an emergency plan in order to enter without her help.
Truth be told he was lucky he had no metal armor on or taken out his staff from his Inventory because the lightning staff did double damage to people with metals at hand or on.
He looked at the land Raiders' inventory but all that he could find was some food and a few chips. He let them be only taking some of their food and drained their corpses of their genetic materials leaving nothing behind but the two weapons. A sword and a club, having already taken the lightning staff.
He next went and took down the flag from their tent and a message appeared.
-Land raiders have lost the ownership over the desolate farm spawn point -
-as a penalty they will revive at the last visited safe spawn point -
He didn't know when they would be back if they would not revive near his location but he knew he needed some sort of flag or something to make the land his own.
He took out an Immortal suit and made a makeshift flag out of it.
-Player Darknym has gained ownership of desolate farm spawn point now -
-all future scavenged materials from the area belongs to him, -
He took down the flag and though of a better use for it,
-Darknym has lost the ownership over the desolate farm spawn point as a -
-penalty he will now revive at the last visited safe spawn point -
he commit suicide just to see the last safe spot, He once again appeared at the desolate farm, it seems he had found no other spawn point.
He sat and read the guide book gaining another three skills, and some intelligence.
(Simple upgrades choice)

(Researcher's Intellect)
Raises the Intelligence of

(max 10%)
He looked inside the land Raiders' tent and found some normal essential things like beds and a box to store Items, they had a lot of hoses and sprinklers inside but what drew his Interest were the dirty devices he saw inside.
He disassembled them, not knowing that it would cost him some of the components but he didn't care, the book was almost over and he had to grind his skills somehow.
There were 12devices in total
4 waterblasters
2 laser pistols
3 decoders
2 tablets
1 cellphone
They had done a great work scavenging, by disassembling them he gained
2x broken waterblaster component A
3x broken waterblaster component B
1x broken waterblaster component C
2x broken laser pistol component B
1x broken laser pistol component C
3x broken decoder component A
1x broken decoder component B
1x broken decoder component C
1x broken tablet component A
2x broken tablet component B
2x broken tablet component C
1x broken Cellphone component C
He begun reassembling them one by one, at least what he could reassemble failing miserably
Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.
He had no more compatible components after that and had broken all the devices into components, he did gain some chips in the process and a lot of junk metal.
The tend was now a strategic location for him to use, he disassembled his makeshift tents and put the components inside the box, he also put the components he couldn't use inside the nylon and dug holes in the ground to hide it there. Anything he wanted to hide he put inside the nylon and hid under the ground.
Afterwards he completed the book and gained the last of the basic skills of the profession.
(Higher Intellect)
Raises the Intelligence of
the researcher for some points.
(max 10Int)
He also got some points in fast the reading skill while the reading power sometime replenished some of his Tp. He wasn't at all strong so he decided to go grind a few levels. He went and hunted the lizards with his new weapons the Silver sword and nailed club.
After twenty lizards he had gained a level, becoming level 2 and gaining 10 unused stat points. When he returned he saw at least five scavengers around his new tent. he didn't know what to do but it wasn't a bad decision to wait for the moment.
He now entered Allastar where a new surprise awaited him.
========================================
Allastar
He was inside his room while Theo wasn't there, he looked around and found a message on the table.
-Since you were missing for a whole day I took the liberty to go for a walk. -
He didn't really mind but he felt a little uneasy about the current situation in Rubrick. He went to the library in search for new spell books but all he found was a sign on the door.
-The library is now property of the Helllion guild, and is closed until further notice-
Few probably cared about the library since it didn't serve any specific purpose inside the game other than providing Information about quests.
Only monster subjugations and Dungeon explorations counted as real Quests in Allastar, giving fame as a result Normal requests from Npcs were just like deals between players.
He looked at his luck and It was at good, but when He wore the lucky ring once more it was raise his luck to godly.
He went to the Black market to find more bugged merchants but he only managed to find two more to report.
=====================================================================
The administrators didn't know to reward him or to suspect him, if he was the one hacking and creating the merchandise he covered his tracks perfectly as they couldn't find a single evidence of him having hacked the system even once.
There was a serious talk in the administrative office of the game.
"You do know that luck, expands the goods sold by merchants, a player with the name Darknym in three days has found 42 hacked merchants"
The others inside the office were a bit discontent about the fact, since they all were well informed about the matter.
"So since due to his invention of a way to find such merchants and although we have succeeded in replicating his method In the past few days, new such hacked merchants appear every day, but our problem is the absence of a way to find those hackers. Nether the less I have decided to grant the user the Diamond status upgrade, although I would have preferred if he had revealed from the start his hunting method"
Darknym was in the casino winning tons of gold coins when the message Popped up.
-You have just gained the diamond status We thank you for your hunting the bugged-
-Merchants you can stop now since we have the matter under control for the time -
-Being if you want to help with some other matter you can check the help notices at -
-the company's forums. -
There were many things they needed help with mostly anti-hacking tips or methods to track illegal items, but the most wanted help was with the hacking PKers, a group that hacked the system so that their names won't turn red after killing someone and although the administrators located them and deleted their accounts they came back after a week or less.
First thing he wanted to do with his diamond status was thee creation of his own Guild and trading Company. He called the the Guild "The Worst" and the company "Lady of Fortune" aka LOF. It cost him some 10 gold to create the guild and 100 gold for the Company.
Guilds were groups of players that could gain a city through fame, there were many advantages in being in a guild, but the most useful were the bellow...
1.Guild level
As the guild gained levels the players who were part of the guild gained some
buffs decided by the Owners and leaders of the guild.
2.Guild facilities
A Guild Could establish a guild hall in any town or city by paying a small fee
of 1-10 gold every real world day. The guild hall can house many special
facilities like a training hall, library, temple and workshops, well there are more
facilities but they are more intended for different professions.
3.Guild wars
Only by being part of a guild can someone enter the guild wars competitions which
have some pretty good rewards.
4.Guild Ownership
Guild can own land and gain a tax from it, once every real world week. Owning a
Dungeon on your land gains you a tax from the players entering it.
5.Guild membership ranks
Guild members can rank up for more benefits like using the Guild's bank or stash of
Items. The way of upgrading your rank is set by the Guild Master, as well as the
names of the ranks and the advantages of being inside the guild.
6.Guild Rules
This is not really an advantage but it's the main reason why many players don't
join some guilds. If the punishment for the rules is too tough or there are too
many rules, players will not enter the guild, but the more guild rules there
are the more Order affinity is gained by the guild members, although it's too
slow and too bothersome to gather enough for a spell. 10 rules = 10 affinity points
per day played inside the game.
7.Guild Fame
If a guild is famous or Infamous the members will gain preferential or
bad treatment from Npcs. Sometimes will even gain special info and other
privileges.
His own guild was a little special since he was a diamond member he could make special rules and edit the ranks of members to a special degree.
1. His guild level was at 1 and the three choices of a buff were...
-0.2% more Xp gain
-0.2% more Money loot
-0.2% more Item loot(not better)
He chose the Item loot, at the next 9levels he could raise it to another 0,2% until it reached 2% afterwards the new bonus buffs would appear.
The way to level up a guild is pretty simple, by recruiting a person the guild gained some points, by fighting at a Guild war it also gained some points lastly by doing a guild quest it could gain more points than the other two combined, if they succeeded.
2.His guild didn't have any guild hall yet but in the future it would be really big.
Because he didn't lack gold, although there were some facilities that cost real world money.
3.Guild wars were only open for guilds of level 20 and up due to the power of
the guilds involved.
4.His guild owned no land as of yet but the moment he would take possession
of the dragon cliff village he had already made a plan of action in
mind that would cost him 10 billion gold coins as he had seen the prices
of the buildings from the menus. Thus he was raiding the local casino
once more. So far he had 1 billion in his possession and a long way to go.
5.His Guild member ranks were too many for any guild and too complicated as
they made a large pyramid towards the guild master.
-------------------------------------------
1.Top is the Guild Master, himself
2.last step are Officials and Generals.
Officials are those that contribute in gold and management of the guild assets, while
generals are players with the ability to lead the guild. They could use a large
amount of the guild's funds and Items as well as propose rules or future actions.
3.A step before the last is divided into two categories the ones going for Officials
and the ones going for Generals. for Officials there were two positions
the Benefactors and the Managers, benefactors have to contribution a huge
amount of gold, while manages are to manage a facility and contribution to
the guild in some way. The path of a general also has two positions, they are
the commanders and the Elites. Commanders are like raid leaders and the like,
while Elites are the Solo players, their target is to contribution fame for
the guild and maybe some Items if they want to.
4.This is the last step where the members can recruit other players
for the guild. beneath them are only the new members.
There are four paths here one for each of the Benefactor, manager,
commander and elite. The name of the ranks being called,
Contributors,Facility keepers, vice commanders and Veterans.
5.There are ten ranks of two. Either Soldier 1-10 or Merchant 1-10
Soldiers are the ones gathering fame and Members are the ones gathering
money. they can still borrow a good enough amount of gold from the guild.
6.The bottom of the food chain Member 1-10, they can advance real
fast by giving a small amount of money or fame for the guild.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He only had three Rules
1.Can't leave the guild without returning all the Items provided by the guild, even
after deletion with the descendant system.
2.Can borrow funds allowed for your member status in the guild.
3.Can borrow equipment allowed for your member status in the guild.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The trading company under his ownership was a tool for him to gather Npc slaves, as he would lend them large amounts of money they could never pay off, with the condition of becoming his servants if they couldn't, he knew that there probably were no such Npcs in Allastar but it was worth a chance. At least merchant would surely sell their souls for the money he offered.
The second reason was to recruit players who owe lots of money to Npcs into his guild rather than have them deleted. Of course they would prefer it to having to work at the casino for a lifetime.
He now gambled at the casino for the last time or so he said to himself every time he went there, his winning went even higher than before as he did the trick he used to overcome the buff, until it was fixed and he couldn't gamble like that anymore.
His earnings could buy him a whole kingdom and that was what he intended to do after his deal with the Helllion guild was finished.
He left as the new buff only unstacked after a day and his luck had fallen to best, He had two days until Deerg's challenge begun and he had calculated what hour to enter so that he could make the best out of it.
He trained his mage skills and gained a good result as he now could cast simple spells. not to talk about the 10 Intermediate mage skills he gained through hard work and repeat grinding. And even learned some of the Medium skills since the last few days. In truth it was mostly due to the ring, his luck was so high that any spell he cast fell among the 10% success chance of his to cast. It was a serious loophole the administrators would have fixed if they ever learned about it, but they didn't since his room was closed from their reaches due to there being the royal suite's privacy enchantment.
His pockets held
2 copper
58 silver
90 gold
9 valuable gem
1,110,090 bank notes
It would have been more but he lost ten banknote when the buff rules changed.
But what was the most funny thing was his greed affinity became a shocking 11 billions. That's 11million stones of magic. If he took a priest profession or a champion, he would be one of the most powerful players in the game in aspect of magic, but since he was not a priest the cooldown for using priest magic was really long. Even for a simple spell from the element of greed.
As his mage rank rose to Qualified he learned the complex spell casting, that allowed him to cast spells under the complex category, now there were only the difficult spells he couldn't cast.
The Intermediate skills were...
(Elemental strike)
By using raw magical might when striking with a
melee weapon, you can do special elemental damage,
that completely penetrate physical armor.
(Spell Inscription)
You can Inscribe spells to Items, that can be activated
by using less magical power than the normal spell.
Skill level determines the magic power usage of the spell.
(Elemental shield)
A special shield that protects from all types of damage it
sacrifices the Mp used to cast it as shield durability.
(Dual spell Inscription)
can Inscribe two spells to activate at the same time.
Skill mastery raises success rate of the Inscription,
failure will result in a self exploding Item, that will
explode when activated.
(Elemental Attunement)
Raise all spell damage by a small percentage.
(Spellcasting disruption)
A way to interrupt the opposing mage's spells does exist but
it has low chances to succeed.
(Multispell Inscription)
A dangerous thing Inscribing more than 2 spells on an Item,
each time lowering the chances form dual Inscription by a
percentage, min 1% always remains.
(Elemental Resistance)
Raises the constitution of the mage for some points.
(Simple spellbook creation)
Can create spellbooks with simple spells in them in
order to leave a legacy behind or simply help a
friend in need.
(Mage's Lore)
The lore of magic lowers the requirements of
Intelligence and wisdom for all Items for you.
While the medium skills he had gained were...
(complex spell casting)
You can now cast complex spells that require a
casting period before taking effect.
(Complex spell control)
You can control the spell's location after having cast
it on some area, like moving a thunderstorm around.
(Passive elemental shield)
Any real mage has a passive elemental that is an extra
primary stat like Hp. It doesn't use Mp but will
increase as you raise your MP. Can't be regenerated
other than after a day passes automatically
recharging.
His elemental shield was a 10% of his max Mp meaning 50000 points It was five times his Hp and for a noob like him it was a lot.
Although there were three small penalties in the shield system. First was that it took the full force of the damage, having no resistances at all, second a melee character's damage at level 1 was 100 while at level 10 would be around the 500 or more and the problem that it raised no stats as it was depleted.
Despite that he was still too weak, any respectable noob would have had a strength of 20 by now but he was forced in so many circumstances he couldn't even train in peace.
Another day passed and it was time for him to enter the game for the big moment Deerg's casino game.
