Lidie's POV

One whole day they lost on self training, while also destroying Ice skeletons, their skills and stats had somewhat advanced although their magic, stamina and even some health had depleted.

Suddenly Lidie came back from her ki training.

"Lidie did you master your ki?"

Mary asked jokingly after all she was absent for too long, she couldn't have been meditating all this time.

"Just finished meditation although I must confess that somewhere in between I had fallen asleep"

Lidie said, looking at Galie who was still sitting cross legged as if she were a statue.

"Do you think she's also?"

Mary wanted to say asleep but judging by the still moving metallic spheres and the strange fire images, she was probably awake, or was she.

"Galie, are you awake!"

Lidie shouted, making her jump up in surprise.

"Hm, sorry I think I fell asleed while meditating"

Galie confessed, while they all laugthed together.

Only Mary laughed bitterly as she hadn't closed an eye fighting with the ice skeletons.

"Girls I'm going home to sleep for a while, send me a message if you decide to move, but know that I need my beauty sleep, so unless it's really urgent don't bother me"

Mary said as she disappeared.

"Lidie do you think that we should take a break as well and wait for Mary to return?"

Galie asked somewhat unwilling, since she had already slept for such a long time.

"Galie, Mary is a stealth character, she can probably sneak and find us later if we tell her where we are"

Lidie said rather unconcerned and calm.

"Lets go clean up the whole floor so that Mary will have no problem following us later"

Lidie continued, to her it sounded like a good Idea after all the Ice skeletons were real weak.

Of course the monsters would slowly respawn from the boss chamber after 1an Allastar day passed.

"Is that the mage Mary told us about?"

Galie asked, there was a rather small blue robed skeleton, he was a skeleton mage but seeing how he now didn't summon ice skeletons but shot ice missiles towards them, Galie had used the levitating platform as a shield, as the dozens of icicles flew towards them at high speed.

After their battle with the skeleton warriors Galie didn't dare try using her kinetic shield, if she knew how strong it now was she would have used it but those defeats had caused a small trauma to her, she now only used psychic powers when she was sure of its effects.

Clunk! Screech! Bank!

The sounds of icicles shooting at the platform wouldn't end coming, Both Galie and Lidie were shocked as for five minutes now the skeleton has been shooting them non stop, if not for Galie's quick thinking they would probably have died already.

"We need a plan!"

Galie shouted as the crackling sounds of the icicles hitting the platform were raging on their ears.

'Can't you blast him with your fireball staff?'

Lidie wanted to say but she then remembered that it was difficult to even come out of cover and then a plan came to mind.

"use this and take out your fireball staff!"

Lidie shouted as she took out the bone staff.

"first call the skeletons and then charge a fireball!"

Lidie said, that was her plan, she knew that fire magic would be usefull against an ice mage, after all he could have some ice shield or something.

Lidie took back the skeleton staff and begun controlling the skeletons, three charged strait while the other two did a more advanced manouver, as they jumped and zigzaged.

Galie now stood with the skeleton mage in her sight, he was too preocupied trying to stop the charging skeletons, the first three had already been destroyed and now the one doing a failed side jump died too.

"Fire!"

Lidie shouted, seeing as her last skeleton was being almost destroyed by the first icicle, the second and third were just overdoing it.

Bam!

The fireball shot at a terrifying speed, Galie had already pulled her behind the levitating platform.

Clunk! Screech! Bank!

The icicles once more begun falling at their shield.

"Fuck, he's still at it, how's your magic doing?"

Lidie asked, seeing from the party status that she was at 3/4 of her total magic, she probably used tons of magic to shoot that fireball.

"Galie, plan two!"

Lidie said, she had a rather strange idea at the moment. Lidie spied on the mage's location and almost got an Icicle in the face.

"Galie when I tell you shoot another fireball throught the portal that I will open!"

Lidie said, she waited for Galie to charge the fireball and when Galie reached 1/4 of her total

Bang!

The fireball exploded in their face, after all all skills have a small failure chance which rarely happens on higher mastery but Galie hadn't mastered the skill yet, although she was at 70% in mastering it .

(magic activation duration skill)

Enables the mage to keep a simple magical device activated for extended

periods of time by draining his own Magic powers per second.

To Lidie's surprise they didn't die, Galie was also surprised, out of reflex she used her kinetic shield to protect them and to their surprise it did its work pretty well, although they couldn't say the same about the levitating platform, it had a large dent on it and lay on the floor.

Chip! Chip! Chip!

Sounds of icicles hitting on her kinetic shield could he heard, she had only reached a third of her max Ki capacity but inside the game it was terrifying to such a degree. Lidie could only imagine how powerfull it must have been in the real world.

"Lidie, why is the skeleton mage's magic so weak"

Galie asked surprised, from her experience she expected a terrifying defeat but this was inconcievable even for her after all the skeleton mage was level 130 and she wasn't even 100, they had 30 levels deference in stats, thats 300stats more than her.

"Galie, please try your pyrokinesis now?"

Lidie said somewhat shocked and at the same time dumbstruck.

Lidie didn't know to smile or to dread as the skeletal mage in just a few minutes was destroyed by the raging flames that engulfed him, of course he still shot his icicles before dying but there was no effect at all now.

"Lidie, I think that my powers are coming back"

Galie said excited, after all her real powers were far stronger than the ones allowed to a noob to wield at the start of the game and while many didn't know it, psychic powers in the game were already somewhat augmented to make the game somewhat more interesting, after all not all were talented in psychic powers.

"Galie, how far are you in your ki unlocking"

Lidie asked somewhat interested after all the power had to do with you Ki and not your real power.

"I'm a third through with it, I might reach half if I start meditating again"

Galie said enthousiastically, after all psychic powers were a part of whom she was.

"Lets go back and wait for Mary, I too will try raising my Ki to mastery"

Lidie's ki was at 50%, meaning 500 as humans only had a total of 1000 available to them, some other races had more ki and some others less.

The two of them after seeing that the loot was a frozen heart, a necromancy ingredient went back to where Mary would respawn and begun meditating like crazy.

========================================================================================

Simon's POV

Domina was once more inside the game as she leached healing potions from those that died by the boss, there were some other people that died by him and some that killed him and went further down but Domina had no reason to go down, all she needed were enough healing potions to reach positive health once more.

'A few millions and my psychic powers will be unlocked'

Simon though as he with difficulty gulped down another healing potion, he had collected so many that he couldn't gulp them all down, after all, they were liquids, how much can one person drink.

'Should I try going out of here?'

Simon thought but then reconsidered it after seeing Homestrike's team coming once more to challenge the boss, this time they had joined hands with another party, after all they didn't have any reason to go up again, there was only one path that went down and this was it.

"Are you sure this is the final boss?"

The leader of the other party asked, after all they had also died a few times from the spectral lich.

"Do you think that there's a stronger undead than a spectral lich?"

Meteorball asked mockingly, after all he was rather well informed in the game, and soul type creatures were rather bothersome, even if there was another boss bellow, if he wasn't a ghost they would dominate him without a doubt.

"How will we divide the loot, after all he will at most drop a single item"

The other team's leader asked, they had agreed to join hands but they weren't from the same guild after all.

"Just take the fucking Item, we have better thing waiting for us downstairs!"

Homestrike shouted irritated, after all they had died countless times by that boss, for him killing this boss was a reward by itself.

The battle with the spectral lich became a lot easier as a kinetic shield wielder appeared among their ranks, protecting them from the ghastly arms, he was the leader of the other team himself, their problem was that they didn't have enough firepower and at some point his shield was overwhelmed and destroyed, of course that was when the boss reached a critical state and bombarded them even harder.

"Fire!"

The leader of the other group shouted as he released his shield for a few moments.

flames, spectral arrows and other projectiles shot at the lonesome Ghost of a Lich, his etherial form begun somewhat more visible as his health reached the critical point.

"Take protective formations!"

Meteorball shouted, they also had reached this state  a few times but were destroyed non the less.

Slash! bang!

The corpse of the Lich fell on the floor as he had been stabbed from behind by a spectral sword.

Spectral weapons weren't really rare, there were tons of them on this floor, only that getting close to the Lich was impossible at the moment.

Domina, smiled naughtily as she looked at the loot from the Lich, which was now on the floor.

"Soul sucking orb"

Must collect 1000 souls to cast soul storm.

Soul storm was the final attack of the spectral Lich which had dominated them as it reached critical condition, it released hundreds of angry souls that did tons of damage.

Some of them had already identified the item dropped by the monster, if Domina had positive health points she would probably had gained the item in her inventory instead of it dropping down like that.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

"Who are you and what are you doing with our loot!"

Shouted the other party's leader, after all the loot was suposed to go to them.

"Domina why are you still here?"

Asked Homestrike, after all Domina has been hiding quite well behind a colum all that time that not even those that had killed the boss had seen her hiding.

Another reason was that she was registed as a corpse on their radars.

"Give us the item now!"

Shouted the leader of the other group, he didn't really care about who she was, the item belonged to him and she seemed to be with the other group so she should just give the item to them as they had decided before.

"Bye Bye!"

Domina said as she logged out and dissapeared.

leaving the two parties dumbstruck, in a way they did pass the boss but this event called for war, a furious battle between the two groups begun as the other group demanded an item, they didn't care if Domina was part of their guild or not, they had to pay for what she did, after all Homestrike spoke as if he knew her.

========================================================================================

Homestrike's POV

Homestrike and Meteorball were now sitting on the corpses of friends and enemies alike, they had to wait for their allies to respawn, the boss wouldn't appear unless they invite another person so they had to regroup before the oposite party does.

They had a rather nice catch as the other party had quite good items, and since only Homestrike and Meteorball were alive, their names were red as they were player killers.

"So Home, why are we killing them again?"

Meteorball asked, after all he didn't care about a small guild war.

"Didn't you hear him, he called Domina a bitch"

Homestrike said angrily.

"But didn't you take her already, at the first day you met?"

Meteorball asked somewhat confused.

"She is...just...open minded"

Homestrike said, he didn't tell his friends that he raped her, after all he had an image to take care of and Domina had only gained from that, she had already reached a considerable level.

"Whatever, just tell her to come back, I don't see why she had to run away in the first place"

Meteorball said, he was sure that they would have won even before the battle.

"But didn't the others die?"

Homestrike asked somewhat irritated, he just knew Meteorball too well, he would probably have left her to die and waited for her revival inside the boss chamber.

"Home, not all of them died do you think that I would give them the loot we so painstalkingly fought for, I have already send our stealth experts to set traps all around their spawn point, the plan was killing them until the item drops but now we have a slightly different problem, of course the traps will slow them down, a pity they had to be members of the Helllion guild, the No 1 guild in Drogan, now we can't even show our faces at the arena without a good disguise"

Meteorball said somewhat disappointed, the Helllion guild was a rather selfish and No 1 infamus guild in Drogan, where slavery and PKing were rather daily occurances now, the whole continent was like a large PK zone after Helllion took over, in particular anyone who was not a memeber of the guild or strong enough to fight back was killed by the guild, of course that happened only outside the towns and cities.

"What's the big deal, we are in the Isleplains continent, do you think that they will come all the way over here just for revenge, I don't even get why those guys travelled all the way here in the first place"

Homestrike said after all the Drogan continent had a lot of dungeons so why travel to another continent to find a dungeon.

"Lets just hope we didn't kill some high ranked officer in their guild"

Meteorball said, he was somewhat irritated after all they had got in a fight with the Helllion guild and although they had won, the loot from the boss was in the hands of a third party.

"What do we do now, do we wait for her to log in or do we advance?"

Homestrike said as he saw the others from their party entering the boss chamber.

"Of course we advance, unless you have her in your friend list or something"

Meteorball said, he was sure that Homestrike hadn't even added her as a friend or that she hadn't added him.

Homestrike was somewhat angry at the comment but it was the truth, Domina had rejected his friend request, in truth she had rejected everyone's friend request, Meteorball was of course more interested in having a djinni in their guild so he too had sent her a request.

========================================================================================

Mary's POV

Mary after a good sleep and a good meal entered Allastar once more, of course the hunger in Allastar and the Virtual word was different but the food that they could eat in Allastar was all Dry ratio and food that would keep them gooing on for a while, something nutrient but not so tasty after all tasty food was expesive.

The first thing she saw as she entered Allastar were the twins sitting cross legged, one opposite another with closed eyes, still meditating.

"Are you sleeping again?"

Mary asked jokingly, she didn't know if they were sleeping but suddenly.

=Aha I win, you fell asleep!=

They shouted in unison, but to their and her surprise non of the two had fallen asleep.

"Oh, Mary you returned, Lidie and I have reached over 50% of our ki capacity, now we can travel more safely"

Galie said, she had reached 60% of her total Ki, meaning 600Ki, her powers now did a rather satisfying damage, now only level 200 oponents and up would be somewhat resistant to her psychic abilities but still helpless until at least level 300 oponents appeared.

"Did you train all this time?"

Mary asked somewhat shocked by their progress, in just two days reaching over 50% was really something but after seeing the battered and bend levitating platform she facepalmed herself, after all she knew that they were rather restless, how could they have only meditatited for so long.

"So did you kill that mage?"

Mary asked somewhat interested after all she too had nearly died by his icicle projectiles.

Galie wouldn't speak as she saw the almost broken platform, she wasn't sure as to why but she felt somewhat bad for not waiting for her.

"We killed it but with considerable losses, but now I'm sure that we can take on the boss of this floor without a problem"

Lidie said confidently after all she too had trained with her psychic ability and thought of new ways of how to use it.

"Then lets go, you can leave the platform here or destroy it, I doubt that it will be of any use as it is now"

Mary said, the reason was that she could see it shake in midair, it was probably too damaged and became unstable.

"It's mine, so I will do whatever I want with it"

Galie said, after all it was a gift from her father, although he could have given her something better and more suitable for a girl her age.

Galie put the platform in her inventory and begun levitating herself since she no longer could walk with so much weight in her inventory, the platform was made exclusively of metal and it was large enough to hold five people on it.

Galie of course didn't know that magic artifacts were virtualy impossible to repair they had to be destroyed and made anew from the same or diferent materials but did they have the ability to do so.

"Galie just ask your dad to make you a new one later, you probably can't even activate it's magic to move right now"

In a way Mary was right, the platform moved somewhat strangely as she activated it with magic, sometimes disregarding her commands making it somewhat difficult to control, her telekinesis could carry it slowly now but it was even slower than activating it.

If by activating it the speed was like walking, now it was like crawling slugishly with her telekinesis moving it against its magic that tried to keep it in place.

"Mary it doesn't matter, by the way Galie could you give it to me to carry, I wanna try to increase my strength a little and carrying heavy loads has that sort of effect"

Lidie asked, she was somewhat stronger that Galie inside the game and wanted to increase her strength to be able to carry more items, her bags were already somewhat empty and only held a few remaining potions and some other loot.

"Only if you promise that you won't destroy or lose it"

Galie said, she was somewhat uncomfortable flying in a dress and her levitation speed was visibly affected by her weight and since she carried another two metallic spheres the weight was rather tyranical.

"Sure, just give it here"

Lidie said, she had found a rather good use for the platform as a weight, which made Mary wanna laugh as she saw Lidie trying to take her first step and falling to the ground.

"Don't laugh, I'll make it"

She said as she tried to lift her body off the floor.

After a minute or two.

"Could you help me up?"

Lidie asked somewhat embarassed, walking, she couldn't even get up with the weight of her inventory.

"Just take out the platform"

Lidie said somewhat irritated as she teleported next to her. Galie couldn't tell if Lidie was playing her or not but in all sincerity she had all but forgotten why she was in that situation to begin with.

Lidie however didn't give up she only took out the platform for a few seconds to stand up and then tried once more to walk with it. In most games the inventory was like a backpack on your back but in Allastar it had no physical appearance, it was just a pop up window that showed you your stored Items.

The weight as well didn't come from any backpack it was like a gravity that made walking upright almost impossible after but a single step, of course if you needed more space you could buy backpacks and other storage devices.

"Not yet!"

Lidie shouted after taking one successful step, she had gained a single HP point from this, if she continued she would probably in a short time gain at least one strength stat.

"Can't you cut it out, you can gain strength by hitting monsters"

Mary said, after all hitting monsters was easier to do than walking with an overweight inventory.

"Mary, I'm just getting a hang on this"

Lidie said as she took the second step.

Galie and Mary didn't understand the sensation of overcoming your limits, of course they hadn't tried to walk when they were overweighted knowing that it was too hard and not really worth it, but Mary didn't consider that in the last floor the most work was done by her and Galie, leaving Lidie as a spare.

Mary did the scouting and trap detection, Galie destroyed all the monsters and Lidie was sometimes given a chance to protect Lidie or Mary with her shield from some random projectile or attack, which by itself was becoming more and more rare.

Growl!

A sudden sound of a Howling beast was heard, through the corridors, the girls didn't know what it was but by the sound of it, it could only be a monster.
