Lidie's POV
Lidie was the first one to wake up from the song's influence, she didn't know how much time had passed but she was hungry. The others were still lying on the floor, the song had long stopped playing but they couldn't wake up for some reason.
Lidie shook them awake and they begun rising up, rubbing their sleepy eyes, not understanding or not wanting to believe what had just happened.
"Was that psychic power?"
Red asked curiously.
"I'm hungry"
Galie said, ignoring Red's question, after all she didn't know what exactly that was, but in all sincerity it was rather dangerous.
"Me too"
Lidie said, Red would also say the same but she wasn't fast enough as they had teleported to a strange kitchen or something, there were tables and chairs and next to the somewhat traditional kitchen were three floating crystals, there was also one crystal on each table, that shone with a somewhat faint light.
"Make your order"
Galie said, as she touched the one on their table and her drink appeared, afterwards a strange dish akin to spaghetti appeared and other side dishes they had never seen before.
"Girls why don't you order?"
Galie asked somewhat puzzled, after all these crystals were a daily part of her life and at least a minute passed without them doing anything.
"Galie, to tell the truth we don't know how to use these crystals"
Lidie said and Red nodded somewhat embarassed.
"Tell me what do you want to order, for now I will order for you but later I will teach you how to use the crystals"
Galie said and took their orders, whatever they said, just appeared on the table, as if it was magic.
"Where is the toilet?"
Lidie asked suddenly.
Galie pointed at one of the crystals next to the kitchen, It was rather strange as in her room there was a perfectly working toilet.
"Let me help you"
Galie said as she teleported her to a toilet somewhere in her house. It really made her somewhat interested as to how the crystals worked.
When she ended she was teleported back, it was of course strange, how Galie knew she had ended but it was okay by her, after all she didn't teleport her with her pants down.
"Galie, how do you use these crystals?"
Lidie asked, after some time had passed and the food was almost all eaten.
"It's quite easy to tell the truth, you just have to use telepathy onto the crystal and options appear in your mind, it's rather handy, by the way how about I teach you telepathy?"
Galie said somewhat excited, they couldn't even talk back before she teleported them out of the dining room and into the capsule room.
She guided them to three strange looking chairs with a helm that could cover their whole head.
"These are training capsules, all I know about psychic powers I learned from these"
She said as if boasting and begun regulating something on the console next to the chairs.
"I regulated it to teach telepathy, who wants to try first?"
Galie asked but Lidie felt somewhat uncomfortable and afraid to use a rather questionable machine, it wasn't that she didn't trust Galie, but she had a bad premonition about this.
Red however was hasty and impulsive, she without fear sat on the chair and put on the strange helmet that covered her head.
-Unauthorized person in the training capsule-
A robotic voice sounded and Red found herself out of the capsule once more.
"Sorry, I really didn't know it needed authorization for others to use it"
Galie apologized but to them it was rather disappointing since they couldn't learn telepathy.
"I know, lets go to the training room!"
Galie said teleporting them to another room, it was large and contained two capsules and a large gym inside, there was anything you could imagine inside, even a climbing wall.
Galie touched a crystal and their clothes changed into heavy karate gi.
She took a rather movie like stance and said.
"Now lets begin your training"
Giggles and smiles could be heard as answers to her words as they begun training, at a rather slow pace, while jocking and playing around all the time.
In reality any psychic could learn other types of psychic power but he needed to get accustomed to using them to be effective in them.
In psychic power there were four variables that mattered.
Mind, mental process and how efficiently your brain works, memory and other fuctions included.
Soul, in reality it was the main way of how all psychic powers were used, by moving your soul around and doing things with it, that's exactly how telekinesis and other such powers worked.
Time-space, it is the pinacle of psychic powers, oracles and martial masters at some point learn to use time differently, while space is a rather vague understanding, in a way there can't be the one without the other.
Talent, the gift from god, every person has different limits, that limit was called by Darknym as talent. He himself was quite talented but there were other people who were even more talented than him but they would never be able to reach their limit, since they don't know how to increase their power.
The easiest to learn were the Mind based psychic powers, although they were time consuming and didn't give lots of an advantage in the start but in the long run they made a good suplement to soul powers.
Soul powers were rather plain and easy to use but had some difficulty to learn them, the most important part was understanding how to use one's own soul to achieve a specific result.
Time-space powers were the hardest to learn and use, even Galaxia hadn't mastered those, not that she had mastered the others but those she had only touched. They were simply too straining for her to use for extended periods of time.
Telepathy unlike you are probably thinking has all three branches, the mental is the easiest as it contains creating mental notes and other such things for yourself, creating a photographic memory effect etc.
Soul branch is where you can talk with someone else or scan an area around you with your telepathy.
Time-space telepathy is sending messages to your past or future self, it's rather complicated and hard and is akin to an oracle's visions or hearing voices out of nowhere.
The lessons and life in the pyramid went on, as they had completely forgotten Mary who sometimes appeared and disappeared in the dungeon.

Max's POV
Max was once more scrubbing the deck, while hearing Dublin snore, still tied to the main mast of the ship.
The last few days there has been a strange genie who came back and forth from the captain's room.
He even heard arguements coming from the captain's cabins sometimes but the most terrifying thing was how the captain seemed powerless against her.
Max was somewhat surprised seeing her sometimes walking topless around the deck, but what surprised him even more was Dublin's comment on her.
"That's a guy"
He said, making him feel disgusted for himself, as he had some rather dirty thoughts about her. Of course there wasn't a 100% that she was a guy but he didn't want to risk finding out, he had even seen a nightmare about it.
The days that passed were rather joyful as Dublin was let loose in the ship. the crazy pair of Domina and Dublin did everything in their powers to make Jak furious, but what made the greatest impression on him was when they were approaching a town on Offshore Island.
"Open the barrels drink and eat everything before we reach the shore!"
Jak shouted and drinks and food was all over the ship. The were two reasons for the feast, first was that Jak was leaving with Domina and the second was that Domina could use her psychic powers again, not that Max could understand why she couldn't use them before.
In their times of Joy suddenly a War Galley appeared in the horrizon, it was a military ship and they sailed without a flag at the moment, unless you consider a white red spoted underwear as a flag.
Jak, gimme a gun, said the drunken djinni, Max was rather puzzled about what she could do with a simple gun that shot fire missiles, they weren't even fireballs, they probably wouldn't even reach the enemy ship from their distance right now.
Domina went closer to the rails of the ship and after a minute shot with the pistol. No one knew that Domina had gained a new psychic skill, called "UNKNOWN".
Unknown were skills that could not be identified by the system but Domina knew exactly what it did, it was the hacking skill she herself created, a pity the changes she made to the items only worked for a single use or until they were damaged for armors but it didn't really matter.
In front of Domina from the small pistol a sea of flames burst out shooting towards the military ship, a pity that it missed big time passing right next to the enemy ship.
A few seconds later a second shot was taken and nearly burned their own ship, the pirates were now trying to disarm Domina while the military ship was quickly sailing away, they probably didn't understand what was happening but the fireworks made them somewhat afraid to approach them, it just wasn't worth it losing their ship.
The celebration went on while Domina got a well deserved spunking by Jak, after all she nearly destroyed their own ship by shooting somewhere upwards making them somewhat nervous as well, after all she was piss drunk, it wouldn't be strange if their own ship went up in flames instead.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Max didn't have plans for the future, he even asked the pirates to stay with them but their answer was rather ambigous, by Dublin's words, they were retiring after today, that was the reason they were celebrating as well, until they run out of gold again and return to the same old routine. Drinking all their money and enjoy life and afterwards return to piracy, it was their way of life, the life of a pirate.
Early the next morning they reached a strange caving in the cliff, Domina could recognize this entrance to the rundown harbor. The pirate docks of Offshore Island, a hideaway for Pkers and pirates in the region of Offshore, there were of course another five or so hideouts but this was one of Jak's favorites, simply because the Npcs here are too afraid of him, if he wanted to he could become the ruler of this small outlaw hideout easily.
Dublin was happy to step on land once more although he was somewhat uneasy about being in a foreign country, but he wasn't alone after all. Dublin might act high and mighty but when he's in a bad situation, he's the most cowardly fellow Max had even met.
Of course he knew him from when he was a child, although his mother kept beating Dublin up each time she saw him trying to teach him anything that she hadn't approve. Max was rather afraid of his mother, he still remembered how she beat him up every time he misbehaved, even after he turned adult, while his father was always spoiling him with gifts and later credits and let him do whatever he liked.
By the current social comunity their family was outdated and weird, chidren after all at the age of six were sent to school and lived there in a perfectly secured environement.
At secondary school they were given more freedom and could leave the school grounds and visit other virtual spaces.
High school was supreme freedom, they were given a house to live and were free as long as they attended school.
Academies were a rather strange thing, they were taught real world theories and things and bred engineers, scientists, artists and researchers while those who wanted to attend athletic fields could only enter the police or army, if they didn't get scouted for some sport team long ago while in high school, after all there's no psychological problems in the virtual space. Everyone is free to do whatever they like.
Npcs were the caretakers of all the educational systems and even helped in their daily lives and work.
Work was just a way to earn some extra credits(money) after all not all were satisfied with their basic income.
If you think that terroristic activities were something to be afraid of, truth was that anyone who died was instantly switched with an Npc, it was imposible to discern if he was human or not, unless he was a policeman or guardian, they were after all special and given special privileges. Policemen worked outside the Virtual world and guardians were fighting among themselves the most time, some even did so in the real world having the highest death rate.
Max was rather strong since he lived most of his life in the real world, his mother made him work out and taught him everything he had to know until he was 18, after all she didn't want to make him age after he turned 18, while others became young and handsome. Even inside the virtual world he looked strong, of course in games it didn't really matter since they could simply edit their appearance.
At the docks at this moment they were walking mindlessly.
"Here is where we take out own paths"
Dublin said as he dragged Max along, the pirates didn't really care and Jak had long left with Domina to some tavern or Inn, probably.
"Dublin, do you think that we will see them again?"
Max asked, after all they had travelled a lot with them and they were all rather jolly fellows.
"I hope not, at least not under Jak, that man is simply too strong, I sent a message to your father, but it seems that he ignores me for some reason, can you reach him?"
Dublin asked, before it didn't really matter since they were safe but now it was rather bothersome.
"I have sent him but he doesn't answer me as well"
Max said, he did send a single message but with no reply, in truth Max didn't really care for his reply since he was enjoying himself at the moment, it was like being a lowly soldier in the army but having lots of other friendly soldiers serving with you.
"We should buy a trip back to Drogan now, or wait for the elites to arrive, I'm sure that they won't forget us like that"
Dublin said as they were led out of the pirate fort and towards the town.
========================================================================================
Leo's POV
The Helllion guild was in an uproar, three groups of elites, guardians included were all killed by pirates.
As if that was not enough, most of them were killed by a single person.
Leo of course didn't allow for rumors to spread, he secretly hired another boat and he himself with the elite groups hidden on the ship begun their journey to the Isleplains.
That was of course days ago, in truth they never made it past even half the distance when a strange Island appeared before them.
"The moutain looks like a giant fin"
The Npc sailor said, after all non that meets the lord of the seas survives. One minute later, waves begun rising and the ship capsized living no one alive, think of it like a tsunami sweeping the ship to the side, the second such wave turned the ship into wooden planks. even magic was powerless against this natural disaster. They could only take it as bad luck. Was probably the elves' fault, seriously who let elves on board.
This was one of the reasons why traveling long distances by boat was considered a bad idea but Leo had to be cheap and not pay for the teleportation fees, after all teleporting so many people was more expensive than hiring a boat to take them there.
The reason of course why He hadn't read Dublin's or Max's messages was because they were burried under tons of messages sent by all the other guild members and that they were considered as personal requests by the AI that filtered them.
After all "SAVE ME" was considered rather personal, even if he was a subleader of the guild.
Ben was nervously awaiting messages from Dublin but the idiot didn't even think of sending him a message, not that Benjamin didn't sent him some but being drunk most of the time it was rather bad timing each time he sent a message the drunkyard ignored it or sent some stupid reply.
-Where are you?-
-In heaven-
-Is Max with you?-
-Who is Max?-
-Do you need help?-
-Nah, I have everything under control-
That was their last discussion together and although Ben didn't really trust him, he had no way to locate him, after all neither of them was a guardian.
Leo as a Centurion could teleport to their location but hearing the name of their attacker and that Jak didn't even use guardian based skills he wasn't really into fighting him, after all he became a guardian through conections, his psychic power was somewhat lacking, if not for his wife, he wouldn't even gather half of the clearances he has.
"The Dark flames are to gather at the mage tower, the rest are on leave, while we are going to Offshore and from there we will begin looking for Jak or the Meteorsomething and his friends"
"Boss I think that finding Jak is a bad Idea, he's probably some strong guardian or something, his strength can't be simple game skills"
The captain of Red Hell said, he was also a guardian but Jak's power was a notch over him, he had even used his psychic powers to try and stop him but it was useless after all Jak's weapon disregarded defenses, making it almost impossible to survive his onslaught of attacks, not to say that he had gained skills from all around the world as he travelled most of the Isleplains.
You will have to understand that Continents are huge, even going from one continent to another without magic takes weeks, of course with magic the distance is shortened to days, but still it's a considerable distance and teleportation through the mage guild is rather expensive, in a way if there isn't a mage guild at your destination you will have to teleport somewhere close by and travel the distance on mount or on foot.
Drogan and the Isleplains were bordering continents so it wasn't as far away as the other side of the Isleplains continent, and Offshore Island was still in New Shellon's range of control, since it was an Island not far from the great plains.
If you think that teleportation is more confortable you are wrong again, in the entire Drogun Continent there's only three mage guilds, one being in their Hometown of Rubrick, the other in the capital and the last somewhere in the mountains where a hermit wizard lives.
In the orkish Mountains it's even worse as there is only one Mage guild and that is near the Anchora continent, meaning that it's the same as teleporting to Anchora, that has plenty of mage guilds. Ashrad also has plenty and the Isleplains too but barbaric continents like the Orkish mountains and Drogun don't so it's a hustle travelling back and forth from the docks to the capital, since Rubrick is even further away.
With tears in his eyes Leo payed for the teleportation fee and in a single second and a flash of mystical light, they appeared in the Mage guild on Offshore Island, which was located in some minor town of the Island.
