Red's POV
Today Red was in a bad mood, for some reason Lidie decided to tag along, but the worst thing was that she begun learning all the professions of the world, she simply asked the npc merchants and with her merchant's charisma they simply taught her for free.
Of course that made Red being a little embarassed, not being able to look her new friends in the face anymore.
It was like having a beggar as a friend while you yourself are filthy rich, that kind of experience.
A tip of embarassment and anger could be easily seen on her face. On the other side Galie and Max admired her courage after all she had gone to nearly all the merchants they had seen on the way and although many simply refused, those that agreed were more than half of the merchants in the market, even some players agreed to teach her a few things about the swordsman profession and a monk taught her the martial artist profession.
Of course there were many people who found it weird that she could learn so many professions, but there were plenty of guardians who had done the same some time in the past, it was simply a matter of how many clearances she had earned or so they thought. After all cheating in this game was nearly impossible.
Even Domina who tried to cheat was given a warning, if he wasn't a guardian his avatar would no doubt be deleted. After all copy and paste was never ment to be used inside of Allastar, you were suppossed to copy a monster's stats and use them in the virtual world where the people lived, not in Allastar where security was so thick and even there you had to do the paste thing inside the rebels HQ otherwise the system would get a grip on you and game over.
Red was somewhat unhappy with the current situation, both Galie and Max were captivated with Lidie's strange methods and she could even coerce the stingy npcs to drop the prices a tab making even the girls who were with them cheer up a bit.
Lidie was too fierce, even Red had to confess that she was a gifted merchant. In truth there was a second reason why Red was somewhat angry, but that had nothing to do with Lidie.
Red had spent one third of her fortune on gifts and her Inn room, which was her most expensive endeavor, if it went like that she would probably end up asking Galie and Max for gold, which made her feel rather miserable. Normaly she would just use her credits to buy gold but right now she was closed off from the virtual world, as were Lidie and Galie.
Red knew that Galie had just a little pocket money but Max had a large guild backing him up. Of course the real problem was that even Max probably hadn't enough money to pay for her luxurious lifestyle.
Would she end up like Lidie, trying to make a few gold coins just to make ends meet.
"Galie I think that we should also learn a few professions, I always wanted to try my luck as an artificier or a syntesizer"
Red said smiling, in truth she could easily become an item syntesizer, but she found out that her equipment and raw materials were not enough to become a synthesizer, she lacked the magic power.
As a guardian she didn't really need magic power to synthesize something but now she had tons of trouble making even a simple enchanted knife.
Of course the reason behind it was that there were two ways of crafting, one was magic crafting and the other manual.
Magic crafting was like automatic crafting it had high Magic consumption and it kicked you out of Allastar as your avatar will begin crafting the item you selected, it had a fixed crafting time and stats.
Manual crafting was done by the player and it hadn't any fixed values, from magic consumption to crafting time and item stats, it all depended on the player.
Of course Red used to do the first, after all as a guardian she could use many cheats to cut the crafting time short, but now she tried to use the manual crafting and it was exhausting.
There was a great diference between a blacksmitha and a synthesizer, the first had to do the manual labor of hitting the hot steel while the second turned the metal into liquid and then shaped it as best as he could, the end product depended on the talent of the player.
Only now however Red found out that she had no talent at it, she could design great fancy weapons but the result was mediocre junk items. The hardest point of synthesizing was sharpening the weapon, it was there that her weapons lost tons of durability and turned into junk after all a weapon with high damage but low durability was no worse than a weapon with high durability and low damage, the reason behind it was that most skills needed a weapon to be used, if you lost your weapon you simply lost all your battle skills at the same time, although there were people like Max who didn't really use skills, he fought with his own physical strength and rigorous training.
The shopping days had another miraculous effect on him, he now had a rather good strength stat that could put him on par with a few of the low ranking experts of Allastar.
Max however had many faults, he was simply not good at fighting, after all not only his equipment were rather low quality, but he also lacked combat capacity, he simply was too brash and straitforward.
He didn't try any excessive masterful attacks and used only the most basic of attacks, he didn't even use his fighter skills well, he simply used basic attacks, if he was a berserker, then a style like that wouldn't have beed bad but he was no berserker, just a simple fighter-warrior.
Red's talk about honing their profession and skills made Max even more motivated, in truth he had somewhat forgoten all about it and was just enjoying this adventure, but thinking back he had wanted to become stronger the very moment they had arrived on this continent.
Each of them took their own path, Red went to learn from others on ways to make her synthesis skills better as she was also looking for special skills for her profession. You might not know it but among the ten Divas, there were three kinds.
The information gathering ones were terrifying existences as they knew everything that happened in the world, they were really valuable and had many subordinates, mostly information gathering Divas were the leaders of the two factions, one was Green and the other was Blue, Green was the leader of the hackers and Blue of the psychics, but both excelled in gathering information.
The second sort of Divas were fighting experts, with strong psychic powers that augmented their bodies they could wield monsterous weapons both in the virtual world as well as the real world, after all they were all trained by Rain and some other rather talented people afterwards.
The last sort of Divas were the craftsmen, they excelled in creating guardian equipments, the reason for their existance was because the others had no time to lose with crafting and the caftsmen Divas were both rather weak and not really smart.
Red was from the last bunch, she could create special equipment with strange effects, but the way of creating equipment the way she did before was now locked and she could only create normal equipment, that everyone could use. If only she had even one guardian clearance she could have used her special printing machine but all she got from Darknym's clearances were polymorth spells, she could now turn into a kitten, a puppy, a werecat, a werewolf and a human.
Of course for her these skills were trash, after all she didn't really need to transform into anything, she was fully content with her human form.
Red spent most of her remaining time expirementing in her craftsmanship, while Lidie was mastering bit by bit all her professions, in the end she ended up creating weapons challenging Red in her own way.
Max had become friends with Honda, the guy that had challenged him to a fight and was no learning swordsmanship from him and Honda being a master fighter already helped Max gain the fighter mastery instantly.
Galie was the most bored of them all she begun continueing to train her mage profession, although there were far better ways to train her profession than the way she did it. Of course her magic points were rising well but her mastery of skills was rather slow, the reason for that was that she didn't have anyone to teach her and she just did what she did in the start of the game, she probably didn't understand the difference of ranks, the more her profession rose in rank the more difficult it was to improve it without a teacher.
This was of course also Lidie's and Red's fault, not having told her about it and letting her continue her self-torture, a pity, if they had found even a moment for her she could have advanced at double the time she was advancing now.
=====================================================
Drogan Battlefront events
Far away, back in Drogan the Isleplains gunmen were somewhat surprised, they had advanced towards the mainland in just a few weeks but the problems appeared one after another.
First it was a sudden fierce counter attack from the Helllion guild, making them halt their advance and even losing some ground.
Then a strange sniper had suddenly appeared, killing a whole army of players as if they were flies, none of them had seen where the shots had come from, but seeing how the shots came carving from the sky they could tell that he was shooting them from outside their vision range, something that could be called inhuman, some even came falling from the sky.
Afterwards they begun understanding how unfriednly to the player the lands of Drogan really were, at the north they were full of pirates, while at the south there was the accursed Ice Queen and her Iciclons.
The Ice Queen was an immortal boss that sent Iciclons a strange sort of ice crystal creatures that turned anyone they touched into ice, of course for players they just drained your stamina by freezing you and then after you are helpless they drained all your healthpoints.
The mage gunners could have easily of course defended against the Iciclons but they were taken by surprise, which resulted in losing a whole town to the Iciclons, something which made the alliance lose face.
To gain some face again, the players of the Isleplains Alliance begun another attack, which was rather successfull or so they thought but in reality there was an even bigger problem.
Their enemy had already sold the town and moved all the people inside, all they had gained were two city walls and two crappy town halls which the players of Helllion were for some reason protecting nothing but a bunch of walls.
The players of the Isleplains alliance didn't instantly understand what had happened but the next moment they understood that the Helllion guild wasn't as stupid as they thought.
While they were trying to take over the empty towns, the Helllion guild had taken back the towns that had been taken from them leaving the Isleplain players surroundedfrom all sides without even any npc shops to resupply.
Their position however was still not desperate, they had still players who could reclaim the docks.
To understand how the map looks like I have to explain a little more excessively.
Drogan to he west and the Isleplains on the east are divided by the great Anti-magic desert, making it almost impossible to send troops through it, leaving only the sea routes to the north and south of Drogan.
Drogan as a Barbaric land has no ban on piracy while the Isleplains have large fleets of ships under their command. Of course for the Isleplains who have a normal army it's easy to claim the Docks of Drogan on the north of the Aquantic ocean, but to the south where ice drifts and not far from the south Post(Not really the south pole but is a cold and ruthless land no different from the south pole in climate)
Because there is too much Ice on the south the pirates have more of an advantage to the large fleets, not to speak about the Iciclons and other monsters that roam the south Post seas.
Leaving them only with the south Docks as a base to attack, from the begining that was the only place they could trully suppress. Even now there were many of their ships docked to the now lost towns.
With a little push they could flank the town and easily regain control of the situation.
The south towns were of course a lost cause but at least the situation was not dire yet. If they regrouped at the southern docks they could still push the Helllion guild back.
If only it was so simple they could surely have done so but the moment they left the town walls they understood that something was going terribly wrong.
There was smoke coming from all the directions around them, it wasn't so evident from up the walls but once outside they saw that the smoke didn't come from a far away distance but pretty close to the town.
There was no question around it, the moment they left the town they would probably be swarmed from all sides. How could they not have foresee this happening, after all they simply went too deep into enemy territory. Those that were Guardians simply teleported away, while other s were left with no other choice but wait for their doom.
You might find it funny but what could you do if you respawned in a city surrounded by enemies, not to tell that they could just respawn you inside a prison cell. Waiting to be bailed out was too much of a bother but they could still exchange prisoners, after all the Helllion guild did get some of its members captured as well. Only a selected few of course knew that they had been bailed out long ago, but why ruining their hopes, at least they won't hate them for it when they get caught, thinking that they too didn't know about it.
Funny thing was that the northern docks never fell, the Isleplains fleet docked nearby was attacked by sea lizardmen, the most vicious sea monster, fast in the water and agile on land, the reason however why they are considered dangerous was because of their poisonous vampiric fangs, they both drained the victim's hp while leaving a rather docile poison inside the victim's body.
They leapt from the sea like dolphins and grabbed people taking them down to the bottom of the sea, even the experienced isleplains sailors were not stupid. The prefered to simply hide in their cabins and kill the lizardmen one by one rather than risk being on the deck.
Of course not all the ships were attacked but they couldn't launch an attack with only half their ships, it would just be making the Drogan barbarians' life easier.
In the time it took for the ships to begin, the teams that had entered the mainland were already defeated.
If they hadn't set the town as a checkpoint then they probably be resurected in a prior checkpoint but even that checkpoint would most probably have already be lost.
Last thing the Isleplains alliance did before leaving was bombarding all the port towns and fishing villages north of Drogan, leaving nothing behind.
Or so they had planed until the Dragons appeared, Drogan had an Alliance with the dragons and although normaly the dragons wouldn't interact, the Isleplains players didn't know that guardians, especialy high ranked ones, had their own way of making the npc dragons move, mostly through negotiations.
In few words it was hell in the middle of the sea and on a tall tower stood Leo and Rain overseeing the fireworks.
"Didn't I tell you that this was hardly a bother to take care of"
Rain said satisfied, her plans went right as she had planed and she was satisfied with the results.
"By the way how did you convince the dragons to help us?"
Leo asked still surprised, he had asked for his wife's help but he didn't know just how strong she was. From start to the end of the events it was all her work, they were losing miserably before but she first delayed the enemy from advancing, ordered his members to dismantle two towns and took back the lost ports. Lastly she even got the dragons to move.
"It's easy if you have the right conections, call this a gift from the empress"
Rain said.
"Down with Dar..."
Leo wanted to shout but rain shut him up as fast as she could, she looked terrified with what he was about to say.
"Never shout that again unless you are behind closed walls, there is a high possibility that a new player with that accursed name appeared and he's probably as strong as the last one"
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Said Rain confidentialy to him.
All Leo could do in reply was gulp and cold sweat dripping down his back, just at the idea of something like what happened to Rubrick could happen again.
Truth was that many mages tried to replicate Darknym's results but this was no longer the w3 where there were tons of things to exploit, there had been tons of things to balance the classes and mages had somewhat lost their might, not that they were strong in the first place, all mages after all were just glass cannons, high attack but extremely low defence.
Even an archer was preferable to a mage when going on pvp, archers at least had agility but mages had to bulk all their points in intelligence and wisdom, mostly intelligence, since wisdom was easier to accumulate and intelligence was what determined magic damage in the end.
In a few words a mage like Darknym or even Loki the elf death mage or Archonarch, who both disappeared in the pages of gaming history. It was of course much easier to train a warrior rather than a mage.
The magic world had mostly become the magic girl world, although there still were some guilds that only recruited mages. The reason behind it was the magic academy, the days at the magic academy were peaceful and they were even sent on quest, it was as if they were no longer in Allastar but some other world, after all political struggles between guilds had no place at the magic guild's magic academy.
Only at the academy since the magic council was the home of alliances and betrayals, but only powerful mages could enter the place.
You may ask how many players in all those years entered the council of mages, the answer is none.
There simply was no one who bothered to enter it, in all those years mages had understood that gaining even the lowest of seat in the magic council was too difficult and troublesome, so they decided to simply play the game like all the others.
By no means does it mean that there were no strong mages, but they simply weren't overpowering and great like the old ones used to be, even with all the gold in the world, the mage profession was probably the most expensive hobby.
Leo and Rain silently watched as the dragons were now fishing the surviving players from the ocean as if they were sea gulls descending from the sky into the water and swallowing people in one gulp, going from one to another without much delay and before anyone knew it the attack on the Drogan ports had ended with a terrifying defeat even worse than what the Helllion guild had suffered, after all the Helllion had only sent the scouts and was defeated, while they sent a whole invasion force.
=====================================================
Domina's POV
Domina took a week just to upgrade all the lesser demons, with large breaks in between to sleep and have fun with the colorful bitches.
Today was the day that the strange meat intestines creature would become a demon, the whole being had become a lot more compact and looked like a crysalis from an insect, only that it felt alive for some reason making it rather disturbing, but Domina wanted to see how his creation would look like.
With a pluff! sound the outer skin of the crysalis exploded sending skin and flesh flying, and in its place appeared something that Domina didn't expect.
A peerless beauty, soft beautiful white skin like a doll's and dark red fiery hair like Domina's fur.
It was simply a dreamlike existance, a pity the lesser demons couldn't understand her beauty, for them she looked delicious.
We to Domina she too looked delicious, well carved and two peaks facing him as if asking him to bite them. He couldn't say why this so called demon had no clothes and looked so enticing but he liked what he saw right now.
"You what is your name?"
Domina asked the woman that just emerged from the cocoon, if he was in a human form it would probably be hard to not notice his lustfull expression.
"Master I'm called Yummy"
The girl said with a rather average voice, somewhat destroying the magic of the moment, but her facial features more than made for her voice.
"Well you surely look Yummy but what kind of demon are you?"
Domina asked, he didn't really care but he wanted to talk with her for a little while before deciding to make her a doom knight or not.
"Master I'm a flesh demon, I can regenerate my body by absorbing magic energies"
She said somewhat afraid of him.
Domina used his guardian options to see her stats and was negatively impacted, her health points and constitution had become 1/100th of her prior as a whatever she used to be, but to his surprise she had something all the demons would have killed to have.
She raised her max Mp each time she was hit with a spell, so if he was targeted by magic for a long time she could theoreticaly becom extremely tough.
Domina without thinking granted her with a Doom knight armor, he had already mastered the skill and her Doom armor and weapon were top notch. He was a little sad to see that the armor fully covered her body showing not even a bit of skin, while the helm covered her whole face, not even leting a hint that she was a trully beautiful woman.
"Yummy you are now my direct subordinate and you are not allowed to go even a step away from me"
Domina said as he grabbed the newly created Doom knight and placed him next to him, after all he was now three meters large, next to him the Devil and Yummy looked like midgets.
"Now first lets go meet the guardian and next we will pay a visit to the three Demon lords"
Domina said with a smile.
The Demon lords of planet Skyrre were rather arrogant demons who had ruled the small planet for years now.
Of course their strength was weak but they had some people behind them. It was not widely known but this planet had two portals, one went to Allastar while the other went to another world, however the power needed to operate the second portal was tremendous, the other world was called Skyl and it was where the god Skyrre used to reside, it was much bigger and had more inhabitants, although now it was probably full of demons that were stuck there. Each of these demons however could be summoned by their subordinates who had the audacity to call themselves "Demon lords".
Of course the summon had a small problem, meaning that they could only summon their Master for a limited time.
Domina's first Target however was the portal to Allastar, after learning that those demons were unaffected by psychic powers he had decided to speed up his conquering the world plan and he would if somthing unexpected hadn't occured.
A flash of light suddenly appeared and before him was Jak. Domina would have loved to explain himself but before he could even talk Jak begun hitting him with a club on his head.
It did no damage but he acted as if it pained him, after all he felt a little guilty for disregarding her for so long.
Before however Jak could fend all his/her accumulated stress, the devil grabbed him and thew him at Domina's feet. Jak was trying to stand but there was a powerful gravity that pulled him down.
"Master what should I do with the intruder?"
Asked the Devil with an angry voice.
"D could you turn him into a woman as a form of punishment"
Domina said while smiling, after all he was no longer a woman and Jak had no reason to stay a man.
The Devil seemed to like the Idea even more than Domina, of course he thought that turning a man into a woman would be the highest form of humiliation.
"Don't forget to make him a beauty, I would like to keep him as my pet"
Domina said while smiling.
Jak on the other side didn't know what to say, but even the words he said were turned into nothing as the devil tore the clothes on his back and drew a bloody red pentacle on his back.
Jak was screaming from the pain but Domina could do nothing about it after all it was probably the only way to turn Jak into a woman.
Smoke was rising from Jak's body as it begun to bloat and change shapes, it looked hideous at the moment and Domina would have normaly vomited all he had eaten if he had eaten something of course.
When the smoke cleared there was a woman dressed in Jak's clothes, if he hadn't seen Yammy just a few hours ago, he might have been shoked.
He had completely forgoten how Kaj looked in the virtual world but seeing her once more she was simply gorgeous.
"I will kill you!"
Shouted Jak/Kaj as she charged at him but before she could even reach him as Doom knight who was next to him, who was equiped with two spiked shields with pikes at the ends and blades on the sides came forth stoping her charge.
Of course Jak wouldn't stop just like that, she took out her most trusted rapier and activated her favourite explosive glyth. But instead of an explosion she saw how the demon simply disregarded the glyth and the glyth as if dissapeared into the strange glowing red knight without activating at all.
But that didn't stop neither despirited Jak, with a slash of her sword which penetrated most of the knight's armor she sent her psychic power, which made the demon fall to the ground in pain.
Only now did Domina understand something, noble demons are immune to psychic powers but demonic mutants were not fully immune, they of course had a resistance to it but that meant that they could still be damaged by psychic powers, meaning that the Skyrres were vulnerable while the lesser Demons were not.
Jak wanted to finish Yummy, but Domina was getting somewhat angry, he had now remembered why he had left from Jak/Kaj in the first place, she was too domineering.
Domina grabbed her in his hand and lifted her up without a problem he then put her on her knees and begun spunking her butt.
"Kaj, why must you always be so full of yourself"
he said but all that came from Kaj's mouth were screams as tears coursed down her face.
Domina might not have known it but his strength was enough to make Jak even with her defence feel pain.
As he ended he compressed himself to her size and hugged her passionately, with this the whole event was considered closed.
Only the Devil could understand what had just happened, in truth he had long suspected that Domina was no ordinary demon but now it looks like he was even more special than he thought, he was Demon adventurer. Players were called adventurers or travellers, some even called them heroes or otherworlders but the last one was probably the most common after the adventurer of course, after all players did strive for adventure.
"Master, I would like to apologize for disrespecting your mistress, If you had told me earlier I would have reduced her pain to the minimum and could even given her a set of good clothes, since her current appearance is unladylike and ugly"
The Devil said while bowing.
Both Jak and Domina were left speachless, it was probably the first time for Jak and him finding an npc like him, if they didn't know better they could have sworn that he was a real person.
"Master, should I take care of Yummy since the mistress doesn't like other women around her man"
The Devil said while smiling to Jak.
"Let her be, she's rather useful, absorbing magic like she did is rather good, of course she could use a little training but that will come in time"
Domina said.
"Who is Yummy?"
Jak interrogated him, with a hint of jealousy and anger in her tone, the Devil seemed to understand her more than Domina at the moment.
"Yummy come forth!"
Domina shouted and the fat doom knight she had defeated before came forth and knelt before him.
Jak had calmed down seeing the doom knight she had just beaten come forth.
"Take off your helmet"
Domina commanded, to Jak's and the Devil's surprise, he had given the one command that was the most unsuited for the moment.
Jak couldn't speak, even she could understand that the person before her was even more beautiful than her, she was just like a doll.
"This is Yummy, you can believe me or not but I haven't touched her at all, from now on she will be your subordinate, she eats magic power to gain extra mp, which makes her immune to all magic and has a rather good psychic resistance, Yummy from now on Jak is your Mistress, you have to do whatever she commands you even if she tells you to die, you will die, is this fine with you?"
Domina didn't ask Yummy but Jak, after all Yummy for him meant very little, she was just a program that looked beautiful, she could never substitute Kaj in his life.
Jak looked at her still somewhat angry but mostly jealous and gave her first command.
"Tell me if this demon had touched you in any way"
Jak shouted.
"He has"
Yummy said after a little thought.
"Wait when exactly did I touch you?"
Domina said somewhat distressed, he didn't believe what bullshit this Yummy was saying.
'Is she lying? this bitch'
He though but couldn't tell it out loud after all Jak would probably not believe him even if he denied it.
"Wait, mistress, I think that you have formulated the question a bit wrongly, I believe that even if you asked her the same question about yourself she still would say yes since you too have touched her"
The Devil said in defence of his master.
'Excellently done'
Domina though as he gave a sneaky thumbs up to the Devil, he had really saved him.
"Alright, how exactly did this demon touch you, tell me all the truth and only the truth, if you tell even a single lie I will kill you right now"
Jak said, she could also see fear in Yummy's eyes.
"Yes mistress, he took me in his hand and put me next to him"
Yummy said in full seriousness, making Jak feel somewhat strange, there were only two posibilities, either they had planned this out or Yummy was an airhead.
"And then?"
Jak didn't want to believe that Yummy was stupid so she thought that with a little push, she would break.
"And then you appeared"
Yummy said somewhat scared, she didn't know how else to answer her question, after all her intelligence and wisdom was extremely low.
'Perfect, she's an Idiot, but don't be sure you will get away if she's lying'
Jak thought as she took out a strange pendant out of her inventory.
"Wear this and tell me again how did he touch you"
Jak said passing her a strange pendant with a colourless round jewl in the middle.
"Yes mistress, he took me up with one of his hands and put me to stand next to him"
Yummy said with sincerity and fear, the pendant on her neck radiating a green light.
"Did he do anything else to you?"
Jak asked somewhat calm right now.
"Yes"
Yummy said and the pendant radiated green again.
"What else did he do?"
Asked Jak somewhat irritated at the moment.
"He gave me part of his flesh and this great armor"
Yummy said with pride and appreciation.
Jak of course didn't understand what exactly she said and looked angrily at Domina.
"Mistress, if you want to see everything about master Domina why ask this stupid girl that was just mutated into a demon, you can just see a recording memory crystal of mine or master Domina's"
The Devil said.
"Wear this first"
Jak said as she passed the lie detecting pendant to the Devil.
"Will it show me all the truth and no falsehood"
Jak asked him somewhat disbelieving, after all he was the most intelligent looking there, even Domina could be called a fool in front of him.
"But of course my mistress, it will show only the truth"
The Devil said with a smile as the pendant glowed green.
"Are you strong?"
She asked the Devil.
"Not even strong to what Master Domina is"
The devil said but the pendant glowed a terrifying red, normaly it also sent a shock to the lier but to this demon it was no different than a tickle.
"Hand me Domina's memory crystal"
Jak comanded him and the Devil took a rather small crystal tablet and put it next to Domina's head.
