Starting explanation of desert dogs.}
[The desert dog. A viscous creature commonly found in deserts and other extremely hot regions. It has an average height of a normal dog, for reference a German shepherd. It's unusual amount of finesse and intellect made it a very hated creature. This creature usually has brown sand colored fur and is very aggressive against every creature it deems as prey. Desert dogs usually follow a strict social hierarchy in which the ranks are: Alpha the leader of larger groups ranging from 100 to 2000 members, Beta the leader of smaller groups ranging from 5 to 20, the normal member usually following the alpha or beta, Omega a desert dog commonly found wandering alone. The alphas are the strongest and usually are as intelligent, they can set up ambushes. The beta gets send out in smaller groups from the alpha to gather food or scout for potential prey. Standard desert dogs follow these two higher standing members and follow their commands like soldiers. The omega is a lone wanderer which usually relies on its wits to ambush prey or find other food sources. The alpha can command huge amounts of dogs but doesn't have the mana capacity to buff them all with its skills. It usually relies on its subordinates to hunt and gather food, but was also spotted to attack or ambush prey with the others. These vicious creatures can also lure intelligent creatures very well into traps.
Strengths: Strong in a group, oblivious prey, luring prey, Earth magic + resistance to it
Weaknesses: Alone weak, alert prey, resistant to luring, Fire resistance
Strategy: If spotted and host isn't strong or fulfils at least two of the above listed weaknesses, engagement is strongly discouraged. If host fulfills one of the listed weaknesses, engagement on smaller groups is advised, but be alert to evacuate immediately. If the alpha is encountered, leave area immediately and contact your nearest guard station or security office.]
“Interesting...”
{Explanation of the Karomama Tribe]
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
[The Karomama tribe was a tribe which was largely populated with women, men were also allowed to be included, but were very few. The tribe lived nomadic in the desert regions of Dearin. The tribes had one leader which was every time a woman, a male leader was never recorded. The tribe was very known a long time ago, for its beautiful and strong members. The tribe also didn't discriminate against other races, every newly joined member got the same treatment, it didn't matter if you were a demi-human or an elf or even a dragon. What did matter, was that you could show of your talents for the improvement of the tribe, be it martial might, crafting expertise or social skill. The tribe lived this way for a long time and acquired a large amount of knowledge and prowess. This also spelled their doom as several kingdoms united to subdue these fierce warrior women. The tribe also had also lost their most valuable possession the ‘Heirloom of the Karomama tribe’. So, they couldn't find a new leader to lead them to victory. The tribe was destroyed ten years after the war started and many soldiers lost their lives to fight against these warrior women. This wasn't the complete end of the tribe as smaller tribes emerged with their heritage disguised and wandered the world. At the start of the war the members of the Karomama tribe were declared as ‘inferior humans’ to justify the war against them. In fact, they were different than humans and also had a unique race, but still had many human members and were visually no different than a normal human, except for their height and curvaceous bodies. Soon after the war, these kingdoms made it a status symbol of might and wealth, if someone possessed a slave of the Karomama Tribe. These women were very hard to keep as slaves, as they could kill their captors, when they lost focus for even a second. Even if imprisoned and escape was impossible, they would often commit suicide instead of accepting a fat noble as their master, which was in the eyes of many common folk understandable. Soon the greed for such slaves took a turn and their numbers started to dwindle. Soon only a few members of the tribe were left in captivity. The captor's tried reproduce more of them but failed as reproduction would need skin contact with such a fierce warrior woman. Many ‘partners’ didn't survive the night of skin contact, crushed, or suffocated by these warrior women's powerful thigs. After a long time passed even the last member died and the unique race of the tribe officially went extinct. At the present time, this mighty tribe can only be found in ancient books and scrolls. (For now...)
Strengths: Not accessible.
Weaknesses: Unknown.
Strategy: Never underestimate them. Respect pays off. If you're a pervert and you are in a camp of the tribe, you're in heaven.]
“Extinct? How sad...”
{Explanation of the desert}
[The forsaken desert. An enormous desert in the middle of Dearin. Its vastness is still now catalogued and many who tried never came back. It is also called ‘The desert of no return’ or ‘Dead desert’, which couldn't be further from the truth as many animals still resided in these lands. The desert was mostly uninhabitable as it is incredibly hot there which doesn't allow water to remain there for even a few hours and farming was literally a waste of time in the sand. Oases are very rare and the few which were found were commonly not worth settling as many creatures visited such places. The desert was once inhabited by the nomadic Karomama tribe, but after they went extinct and never actually finding out how they survived such an environment, the knowledge how traverse this deadly place was lost. Many historians in various academy's still mourn the extinction of the members of the tribe as their knowledge also disappeared, with it any signs of another civilization in this desert. This doesn't deter many adventurers as they still adventure this desert, many never came back and others went insane from the heat. Those who came back and retained their sanity often spoke about the incredible amount of desert dogs present there and humanoid shadows in the distance.
Strategy: Steer clear if not prepared. Hell, steer clear even if prepared.]
