Chapter 12: Weird Buffs and prep for the third night
After Xhemile bathed she notice a message from her system.
{[Congratulations you received a buff!]

Okay, now I know why women would kill to take a bath there. Xhemile was kind of baffled. Wait... plus ten charm, wouldn't that make even more attractive? Wait, since when do I have a charm stat? I didn't have that before! Fortunately, her system answered her thoughts.
{[Charm stat exists, but isn’t displayed in the status screen]}
“Phew.”
Xhemile relaxed a bit and left the bathhouse. In the living space of her castle have all subjects gathered, when Xhemile entered they all bowed and sat down when Xhemile sat down. They all gathered here to eat before the night comes. Today's meal was as every other day roasted desert dog meat. After the short dinner they gathered in small groups to talk about their day and gossip. Xhemile’s keen ear picked up a few bits of conversations here and there, apparently most conversations were about her transformation and what for a beauty she now was. Her cheeks reddened. Xhemile tried to distract herself by selling the excess meat they obtained from the night prior. She made a few trading posts.

She opened the lords chat platform.

“Guys! She’s here again with an absolute steal!”
“Lucky! It has rained here and I collected some mud!”
“I cut down some trees only for this!”
“Me too! But with stone!”
“Hah! I collected the reeds! I will have enough meat to last a lifetime!”
“My Queen, would you be so humble to accept me as your lowly vassal?”
“Me too!”
“Me three!”
She closed the channel. Xhemile wasn’t the best at looking through a human mask, but even she guessed that they only wanted to be a vassal of her to get food and disappear as soon as she is in trouble. The same applied to many friend requests. Speaking of that, she needs to sort through her friendship list. She deleted every request, which she thought they only abuse her goodwill and the threatening ones. Apparently, some lords still wanted to scam the others with their inflated prices to gain huge profits, but they were too stupid to think that the other lords simply can't procure such large amounts of resources at the moment, later with many subordinates that would be another story. She filtered her friend requests. Her eyes landed on a particular interesting friend request.
[Friend request]
[Too the mighty Queen of the forsaken deserts,
I would like to form a trade agreement with your majesty. My current available resources to trade would be iron ore, refined iron, stone and a few monster-materials. Please think about my request and accept this trade agreement.
Sincerely,
Queen of the forgotten caves.]
This is an interesting friend request. Xhemile giggled from all this posh speech. A sensual giggle echoed through the room. Every person in there looked over to her. Xhemile tried to suppress her shame which she failed when her cheeks became redder. She placed her hand over her face and accepted the friend request of the ‘Queen of the forgotten caves’. She then sat there for a few more minutes to calm down. She then concentrated again on her trades and saw that her trades were almost entirely sold out. A few more moments later and she gained 2000 units of wood, 600 units of stone, 3000 units of mud and 1200 units of reed. Which in turn would be used to craft 600 units of mudbricks. She exited the space of math and looked for Neeth. Xhemile found Neeth standing in the corner of the living space, talking with Njoud the spearwoman and approached them. Neeth saw that her lady was approaching and stood straight to bow to her, the same did Njoud.
“Neeth, do you know how to make a bow or multiple bows?”
“My lady, I do know how to make a simple bow but please look for a fletcher if you want better quality.”: Neeth answered.
“Mhm, I understand, but we can make simple bows right with simple arrows without feathers?”
“Yes, we can make a bow out of wood and a desert dog tendon. As for arrows we would need feathers so we can shoot more precise and at targets further away, but for close combat we could use wooden sticks with a pointy tip or as an arrowhead use desert dog teeth or their bones.”: Neeth responded.
“Can we make enough arrows and bows for everyone before nightfall?”: Xhemile pondered.
“If I get help, we could make it, my lady.”; Neeth replied.
“Alright, take as many workers as you need and make enough bows for everyone as well as some spare and arrows as much as we can.”: Xhemile ordered the leatherworker.
“We shall finish your request as best as we can, my lady.”: Neeth replied confidently.
She then took all the others, except Nour and Njoud.
“Njoud, would you be so kind and show me how to fight with a spear, I only know how to stab with it.”: Xhemile asked her sheepishly. Njoud smiled and nodded, she was a woman of few words. Xhemile followed her. What Xhemile didn't know that Njoud wasn't so quiet during their sparring session, she also wasn't gentle. Xhemile regretted to have asked for it the rest of the time before night. The others started crafting the bows and arrows observing their lady get her butt kicked by the smaller spearwoman.
