The Sixteenth Night: The Mysterious Relationship Between God and Momotaro

During the afternoon, time passed without any particular activity. At 3 o'clock, I was eating homemade cookies with milk.

In the evening, Papa's junior colleague arrived and asked if everything was okay. I replied, "Yeah."

"It's no good—I couldn't understand anything!" Papa exclaimed as he returned home.

"Oh, senior! Welcome back! Sorry to bother you! Could you tell us the story again right away?" Papa seemed terribly rushed.

"Well, well, let's have dinner first, shall we?"

Tonight's menu was "Seafood Paella Hot Pot."

Everyone gathered around the large pot. After dinner, we switched to coffee and got to the main topic.

"Yume said she met 'Zeus.'"

"How do you know it was 'Zeus'?"

"Yume said she didn't believe she was Zeus herself, so she told us to ask you. Right now, we have no choice but to believe Yume's words."

"Does it have anything to do with that 'crest'?"

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

While sipping coffee, Papa replied, "I don't know about that. What I do know now is that Yume met a god called 'Zeus,' who said, 'Return us to our original state,' and the story of 'Momotaro.'"

"Momotaro?"

We recounted the story of Yume's revised "Custom Momotaro."

"I'm curious about this 'Custom Momotaro' story. What kind of tale is it?"

While giving a nod to Mama,

"Alright, I'll tell you."

Mama began the story of "Custom Momotaro."

"Hee-hee-hee, what's that? That's not Momotaro at all!" "Horrible! What a terrible story!" Holding our stomachs, we both burst into laughter.

"Please don't laugh; it's a story Yume came up with!"

Mama puffed her cheeks.

The junior colleague wiped tears and asked, "Yume-chan, how many gods were there?"

"There were three..."

"What were they like?"

"One was big with a beard. Another was a 'Combining Robot,' and the other was a 'Magical Girl!'"

"Yume-chan, isn't that..."

It was the 'Three Momotaros' from Yume's 'Custom Momotaro.'

While the story seemed connected, "Why is Zeus dressed as Momotaro!?" one question led to another.

The more we thought about it, the less we understood.

Zeus is the "All-Knowing Almighty God"! Yume's Momotaro story shouldn't matter!

If that were the real story, Yume would have more power than Zeus... And then there's "that crest." The existence of the "Invite you" written on a piece of copy paper.

It feels like everything is connected yet disconnected.

As the three of us wracked our brains,

"Yume said she'd be back tomorrow," Yume said.
