A.N: There will be 2 chapters today. Here's the first one. I'm finishing the second and will post it later.
When I tried to log out, I found myself in the thrown room of Goddess Althasia. She was immobile, seated on her throne. The light behind her head was dimmer than before.
“Traveler, you have done well for yourself. Reaching God status granted you tremendous opportunities. I will give you another one. Join me in my fight against the other gods and I will help you gain more power.” None of her features moved as she talked. Shivers went down my spine. I found it creepy that she could remain so expressionless.
“Not interested.” I tried to log out but I couldn't. I was panicking when she started talking again.
“If you aren't with me, you are against me.”
“Wait, the world isn't black and white. Just because I don't want to be with you doesn't mean that I am against you. I'm weak, I can't help you even if I wanted.”
“It doesn't matter. You refused, you are against me. Per the gods' laws, I can't attack you directly but beware, I will crush you and all those who worship you.” The light behind her head brightened and blinded me. When it disappeared, I was finally able to log out.
I removed the headgear from my head and went to take a shower. The cold water beating on my head relaxed me and helped me later to get some sleep. My dreams were filled with what happened in game.
When I woke up the next morning, I felt refreshed but I had to recognized that I screwed up the day before. I had thrown a tantrum and wasted those godly powers. When I think of what could have happened if I chose skills rather than let it all to chance, tears came up to my eyes. I should really do something about that personality of mine.
I put my headgear on.

“Zombie Apocalypse.” Yesterday, I was too tired to think of a way to check if supreme healing worked on the virus. After a night of sleeping, the solution was pretty simple. I just had to use it on zombies.
I appeared in a flash of light in the subway station where I fought the mutated rats before. The stairs leading above ground weren't too far. I went outside. I didn't know where I was. The first time, I played Zombie Apocalypse, I had been in a small town before going underground in the railway tunnels. Right now, I was in a big city. The skyscrapers were lined up on the street near the subway entrance.
I went on in a random direction looking for a zombie. It was quite hard as it was still daytime. I should have stayed in the subway station. The place was dark and huge enough that it should have been easy to find zombies there. My only excuse was that I didn't think it through.
Not wanting to retrace my step, I walked on the street. I tried to find a building dark enough where zombie might lurk. All had glass bay windows that let the sun in. After a while, I finally spotted a building. It was a supermarket. The stores were drawn. At the front entrance, a human hole gave access inside.
I equipped my katana. As soon as I got in, I found three zombies munching on a corpse. The smell was suffocating. The corpse was decomposed at places. Worms colonized an open wound on its chest. The zombies turned toward me hissing.
I heard rustling. More and more zombies came out of the darkness. I barely saw them with the little light that came in the building.
“Supreme healing.” I cast the skill on the ones in front of me. A golden light enveloped them. When it faded away, they hissed angry. They abandoned the half-eaten corpse and rushed at me. Their fastest speed was relatively slow as they wobbled.
“Supreme healing.” I tried again but nothing changed. Their eyes were bloodshot. Their mouths were foaming. They growled and hissed the closer they came. I tried a third time. It didn't bring any change.
I didn't have more time. I cut them down. They weren't strong so it only took me a few minutes to do it. However, their numbers kept increasing. I cast spells, I slashed and pierced with my sword but they still kept on coming. My stamina ran out. I turned around and went back outside. I didn't move too far from the man-hole that let me in. None of them followed me in the sun.
In front of the supermarket, I slumped down on the pavement. I felt defeated. The spell didn't work. As I sat there, I tried to think of what I should do. Going back to Althasia was useless and finding the Holy Dragon was hazardous to say the least. There was still a small chance that the skill worked but I didn't dare to hold my hopes up.
I debated calling the wolves but seeing them when I wasn't sure they were healed brought a twinge of pain in my heart. I didn't want to see their faces and I knew that they wouldn't understand. They didn't even get that they were sick to begin with. Tears threatened to fall down. I took a deep breaths to calm myself, it didn't help much. Maron appeared next to me and took me in her arms. I sank in her embrace.
I don't know how long we stayed there in silence. I would have stayed there even longer but a notification came.

Your followers have decreased drastically.
1455 followers left.
If your followers decreased under 1000, you will become a fallen God and your godly powers will be locked.
I stared in shock at that notification. I couldn't believe that I could lose my powers when I just got them. Wasn't I a god? One minute I was on the path of overpowered greatness and the next, I found myself back on the path of personal doom. I snickered. Now that I had these powers, I sure as hell wouldn't give them up without a fight.
Pissed, I log out of Zombie Apocalypse and went immediately into Althasia. The transition was quite harsh on my mind. One minute I was in a post apocalyptic city filled with zombies and the next I was in a medieval town.
I took some times to get my bearings. Not much time had passed since the demons attacked. Maybe 2 or 3 days. However, the town was whole again. The buildings that had been destroyed stood proud in their intact glory. The citizens mingled in the streets like nothing happened. I stopped one of them.
“How come there are no traces of the attack from a few days ago?”
“What attack?” The man I stopped asked me.
“The town was attacked a few days ago.”
“No.” He replied sharply before he left for god knew where. I stopped another person and asked the same questions. The same answers waited for me. I tried again and again. The looks I received gradually became worse. At first, people were nice but they became hostile the more I asked.
I got worried. I went inside the Cathedral. The acolyte from before was sweeping the floor like the first time I saw him.
“Where's Priestess Saffron?”
“Who are you?”
“It's me, Everheart. Don't you remember me?”
“I'm sorry but I don't know you.”
“I'm an acolyte. Call Saffron, will you?”
“Stop lying. You aren't an acolyte. I don't know who you are but if you don't leave now, I'll call the guards.” I didn't pay any mind to his threat.
“Where's Saffron?” I was worried. What the hell happened here? People didn't remember the attack and the one who knew me didn't remember me. I didn't wait for him to answer.
“Saffron!” I yelled. She immediately came running to where I was.
“What's wrong?” She asked disheveled, trying to regain her breath.
“The town was attacked a few days ago and this idiot here doesn't remember me.” I said ticked off. She raised her head in surprise at my voice. Her eyes fixed on me, she retreated step by step.
“Oh Althasia great goddess. Protect your faithful servant from the demon god who wants to defile me.” She raised one of her hands to me while the other clutched a locket. A black came to me. It wasn't fast. I dodged it with no trouble whatsoever. I didn't even need to use a skill.
“Is that supposed to kill me or something?” I smirked at that pathetic attack.
She shrieked like a little mouse. She was scared. She had thought that attack would injure me or at least distract me. It didn't work.
“Oi! I asked you a question.” I was losing patience.
“Go away demon!” She screamed at me.
“You're so freaking troublesome.” Behind me, I could hear metal clinking together. Someone should teach the guards what stealth was because they were horrible at it. Maybe the acolyte should do it. It was the second time, he disappeared without me noticing.
Saffron was relieved the guard had finally came and would repel the demon (aka me) out of the Cathedral. Too bad things wouldn't go the way she thought. I grabbed her and used Gods Call. It was the skill I gained that would teleport me to my worshipers. It didn't use mana nor faith. It was one of my godly powers. I didn't know how it worked or if I couldn't really bring another person with me but I tried.
A tornado rose under my feet and grew way above my head. I pulled an unwilling Saffron in my arms. I closed my eyes. The sound of the winds didn't last long. Only a few seconds after it started, it died down.
People were talking around me. When I opened my eyes, Sevarin was the first thing I saw. Not caring in the least, I pushed Saffron away and punched the daylights out of him. He fell down under my assault. Gosh! What a good feeling that was! I didn't hurt him too much but it was enough to relax me.
After that, I gave him a refreshing smile and helped him to get up. He held his cheek like it hurt. I looked around me. We were in a makeshift camp. Small tents were scattered. They looked frail under the strong wind that enter the small valley we were in. Mountains surrounded us. A lot of people were injured. They looked frail like they hadn't eaten in a while.
“So, what the hell is going on?”
