(Trumans POV) She Loves Me?

“Go for her man!” he urged.

“But she has Austin, Feliximo,” I retorted.

“So!?” Feliximo retorted.

“So she’s already got a boyfriend!” I debated. “And you know about the certificate with the president of the state’s signature.”

“I repeat again. So!?”

“So she’s oc-cu-pied!”

“Just text her Truman!” He pleaded.

“No!” I yelled. “Never!”

“Fine,” Felix smiled. “I’ll do it myself.”

“You blockhead!” I cried. “How could you??? I thought we were friends!?”

“And that is what friends do for each other, Truman!” He retorted.

“Liar! This sort of action is what breaks them apart! Get that through your stupid silly scull you…”

A tone flew straight out of Felix’s hand and both of our heads turned in that direction. “It’s Ruth,” he said. His mouth dropped open so wide; it would have hit the floor if we were in a crazy coo-coo cartoon. “She-she-she, she said yes.”

“Say what now!?” I said crawling over him and snatching the device. “Oh my gosh, she really just texted me, yes!"

Ruth Gabriela Umper just accepted a date…with me, Truman! I looked at Felix with an evil smile on my face. "And she said Hope will come too with Felix.”

“What!?” Felix exclaimed. “My mom said that I should start dating at college age!”
