“I'm home," said the girl with no name as she entered their hotel.
“How was school today, Sis?” asked Felix.
“Okay.”
“Sweetie, how was school today?” asked Mom.
“Fine. Hey Mom, I have a question. Can we meet at the park at two pm and introduce you to my teacher? I want the whole family there."
“I'm not sure,” she answered. “I think your dad and I are going out tonight.”
The girl with no name had to catch the Black Figure. Today was her birthday! She exclaimed, “Are you kidding me!?”
“Do not talk to me in that tone," Mom commanded. "Go outside and do your homework now!”
The hotel door opened. Dad was home. Felix pounced on him with a big hug. "Dad, can we go to the park at two p.m. today?”
“No," he responded. "Your mom and I are going on a date tonight.”
“Dad, it might be something that can help us capture The Black Figure."
“Okay," said Dad. "Honey, we can do the date another day.”
The boy ran out the door. “Yes, I'll tell Sissy! Big Sis!”
Then, their parents sat on the couch and watched television. Almost at two o'clock, the kids came running back inside to go to the park. They were ready to go soon as everyone grabbed their things and jumped in the car. It was exactly two o'clock when they got there, but the teacher was nowhere to be seen.
“You can play on the playground and exercise," said Dad.
As she watched her kids, Mom fell asleep in the shade. Soon, she heard the boy yell. “Yikes, there's the Black Figure!”
"There is my teacher," exclaimed her daughter.
“Here he comes, kids." Her husband said.
The teacher was dressed all in black and had a scary look on his face.
"Take cover, we're not safe here!" Dad yelled. "He's after all of us! Run for your lives!!!"

Mom woke up and looked around. Her husband rested next to her, Felix swung on the monkey bars, and the girl with no name was on a swing. It had all been a bad dream. No one else was there yet.
“I wish I had a name," thought the girl with no name. "I've been teased about that during school. Maybe the teacher is the reason why my parents are so busy and can't think of a name for me. They have plenty of time to do it now. I guess they just forgot about it and are being lazy, but now they just can't think of one for me."
Felix went down a slide, tripped over a rock, scrambled to his feet, and ran back to the slide. He wondered why the Black Figure said they should meet again sometime.
Just then, something rustled next to her. “Yikes, I think there is something in the bush! There he is."
Her scream scared Felix so much that his hands slipped off the monkey bars. He hit the ground with a thud. “Augh! Big Sister, it's only a squirrel!"
After a few more minutes, the teacher approached the family.
"He is very scary looking," said Felix. "I think he's the Black Figure I saw in the fire."
"I don't think my teacher is the Black Figure," said the girl with no name.
Within a few seconds her teacher called out, “Hello, I'm your daughter's teacher, Mr. Guy. She asked me to meet you here today.”
Felix was shaking with fright. "I just know he is the Black Figure."
“Why are you so scared?” Mr. Guy asked.
"Nothing," said the boy with a nervous giggle. "I just thought you were a scary bear.”
“There's no bears around here."
“Hey," he said. "Why is there a gun in your pocket?”
“Oh," said Mr Guy. "No, don't be silly."
The girl with no name asked him a question. "Are you The Black Figure? The police are looking for him.”
Her teacher began to back away from the family. “Don't be silly."
Suddenly, she took her teacher's gun! He ran and threw a gust of sleeping gas at them! “After him!” she yelled. They all ran under the swings and around the slide.
The purple gas hit Mom and Dad. “Aghhhh!” They collapse in the sandbox!
The children continued to race after the Black Figure! They ran so far, it felt like they ran to New York City. They ran and ran and ran. Eventually, they had him cornered.
Felix thought, "This is what he meant when he said that we should meet again."
The girl with no name had stolen his sleeping spray when they were chasing after him. This was the final fight. "What do you have in your pockets?"
"All I have is some string and a rock," said the boy.
So they fought and fought until she knocked him out with his sleeping gas. The big violet cloud sprayed him until it was all gone. Her Teacher, The Black Figure was defeated!
Mom and Dad entered the room. They had just got a little sleeping gas so they quickly woke up.
“He's asleep!" The boy said.
“Quick," exclaimed the girl with no name. "Call the police!"
The children shouted together. "We've got the Black Figure!”
Soon, they watched the teacher of the girl with no name be taken by the police. He was a suspect in multiple kidnappings.
Felix rolled his eyes. “Whatever, I wonder when I'm going to have another adventure anyways. You did a great job. Happy Birthday my big Sister, Violet!"
“A name, you said a name." She exclaimed. "Is that my name, little brother?"
Dad gave them a big hug. "Yes. I love you, Violet. Happy Birthday."
"That's the best birthday present I've ever gotten!" Violet said. "My name is Violet!"
Later that year, they watched their house being rebuilt piece by piece even though they no longer lived in it. They moved a lot of houses after that before they had a new home, but the girl had a name. Her name was Violet.
