Containment Protocol: SCP-7831 cannot be contained, but remains inexplicably dormant within the confines of a high security insulated containment unit. It is currently unclear if the entity is sentient due to lack of definable behavior. SCP-7831 should not be exposed to direct radiation of any kind.

Description: SCP-7831 is invisible to the naked eye and recording devices. Spectrometer imaging portrays SCP-7831 as an amorphous concentration of gamma radiation approximately 5 meters at maximum diameter. Though the levels of gamma radiation should be lethal, SCP-7831 emits no sensible heat when presented to living subjects and proximity to the entity has not caused ionization of biological material. Due to this, SCP-7831 is believed to be extradimensional, possibly [Redacted].
