~Amorelli~
I had woken up to Mordiaki's side of the bed empty. I smelled the air and could tell breakfast was being made. I got out of bed and changed into a casual navy blue dress and put on my slippers. I walked down into the kitchen and find Mordikai making me and himself breakfast. I sat down at the table and he turned around and kissed my forehead.
"Morning my love." I smiled.
"Good morning. You're up early, do you have a lot of things to do today?" He sighed.
"Yeah. I have a meeting with the Elders about the you-know-what, I have to decide what the hell I'm doing with Alana, and then I have to decide what to do with that wizard that gave us problems a while ago." I froze when I remembered him.
"Do I still have those burn marks from him?" His brows furrowed as he plated our food.
"I don't know. I honestly forgot about those. I can look in a minute if you'd like?" I nodded. He placed our plates next to one another and came behind me. When he moved my dress around to check I heard him growl. I flinched and sighed.
"I do, don't I?"
"No, the burns are gone. But you have scars from it. They're to show the rest of the pack that someone 'cheated' on their mate, but everyone knows what happened with you so no one will think that." I nodded and sighed.
"I could tell it wasn't you. I didn't feel the pull or anything. And then when he touched me it was just a burning sensation." Mordikai hugged me from behind and I squeezed his arm.
"Well, the good thing is there's a difference in the burn marks. When someone purposefully cheats on their mate, the burns turn a dark red scar. When someone was touched against their will, the burns turn either a white scar or a black scar, depending on your rank in the pack. Yours are black since you are a royal. And then there are burns you get from family members who didn't mean to touch you or just meant to comfort you. Those just turn into regular colored scars, which I see one on your arm. Did your father like touch your shoulder at some point?" I nodded.
"It was when Alistair first came out." Mordikai sighed and kissed my head.
"He's very sorry that happened love." I smiled.
"Don't worry, I forgave him a while ago." Mordikai smiled and sat next to me. We started eating in silence, enjoying the other's company. Once we were both done, he put our plates in the sink and kissed me softly.
"I need to go now. My duties can't wait anymore." I sighed.
"Well, what shall I do today while you're gone?" Mordikai thought for a moment then snapped his fingers.
"My mother wanted to speak to you about some of the Queen duties. Since my mother is still Luna, she still runs the pack but you rule over all the other packs, and just help out with ours until you are Luna. Meet with her soon, she will either be in the garden or her office." I sighed and stood. My belly has grown to a baby bump and I rubbed our precious children.
"My belly wasn't this big yesterday. Is that normal?" Mordikai chuckled.
"Werewolves go through pregnancy faster than other races. It'll take you about three to five months before you give birth to our pups." My eyes grew wide.
"THREE TO FIVE?" Mordikai chuckled and ran to the door.
"Alright see you later love you bye!" Mordikai rushed through his sentence and I groaned in annoyance. I wandered around the castle to go to Alyx's office. I knocked on the door and heard no response. I opened it and realized she wasn't in here. I shrugged my shoulders and decided to make my way to the garden. As I walked around everyone bowed and called me "Your Majesty." I nodded my head to them and thought it was crazy how far Mordikai and I had come. Just a few months ago Zinniah and I had escaped hell, and now we're here with both of our mates. Speaking of Zinniah, if I have time today I'll visit her. I walked out into the garden and saw Alyx and Carlisle sitting on a bench swing together. I gushed over how cute they were before walking over. Alyx noticed me first and stood.
"Amorelli, hello darling. I'm assuming Mordikai told you I wanted to meet with you."
"It's good to see you Alyx and Carlisle, and yes he did tell me."
"Oh, good. Well, let's go to my office and we can talk more there. Carlisle, I will see you again later darling." Carlisle stood and kisses his wife.
"I'll be around love. Good seeing you again Amorelli." Carlisle kissed my cheek and I kissed one of his. Alyx and I started walking back to her office and when we get there she pours a glass of wine for herself.
"So, I guess we should get started talking about your duties as Queen."
"Yeah, Mordikai already explained that since you're still Luna of the pack you would still be running the pack, but I would be ruling over other packs until I'm Luna." She smiled.

"Look at my son, making my job easier." We laughed and she started pulling out papers and books. There were several stacks and my eyes went wide.
"What is all this?"
"Well, this pile" she put her hand overtop a very large pile. "Is compiled with every single pack and every single pack member, along with their role, like Omega, Beta, etcetera. It also states their job, like a teacher, doctor, you get my point." She paused and I nodded. She then put her hand above another pile, which was a bit smaller than the first.
"This pile is all the criminals within all the packs. It explains their sentence and their crime." I nodded, waiting for her to continue. She then places her hand on a pile half the size of the other two.
"This pile is for all of the royals in the packs, as well as other creatures such as vampires, mermaids, you get my point. It also gives the location of where the Palaces are except for yours." I nodded but spoke up.
"I mean, only mermaids can enter my palace anyways. Do you think it would matter if people knew where we lived or not?" Alyx shook her head no.
"No. There's a reason why your family lives where they do now. Years ago, they thought they could trust people by telling them the location of your old home, and that was when you were taken. They didn't have the protective field around your home at the time and those people took you. Your kingdom has since then secluded their new home from the world and has refused to tell anyone where it's at." I frowned. That's why my family doesn't trust anyone anymore. That's why it took so long to figure out where they were located. I rubbed my face and sighed, waiting for Alyx to continue. She then put her hand above another item. It was more so a book than a pile of papers.
"This is the book of our packs laws. This doesn't just go for our pack, but all of them as we rule over them. We can change anything we'd like at any time and it would change in the other kingdoms that have our book of laws as well." It was a small, brown, leather-bound book. It had a type of glow around it that was enchanting. Alyx then pointed out another series of books.
"These are the other kingdom's laws, cultures, etcetera. The same thing goes for the other kingdoms; when they change something it changes in here." Alyx then grabbed another brown, leather-bound book but it was quite larger than the last one.
"This is the maps of all the kingdoms and their borders, as well as their alliances and enemies. You'll find that several places have the same enemies and alliances." I nodded.
"That's all we will start working on. There are also other things for the routine of the guards and their shifts for watching the grounds. There's also a book of everyone who lives in our specific kingdom, like the town not too far from here. But we will go over the rest of the stuff you need to learn at another date. In the meantime, I want you to choose what is more important in learning about right now." I paused and looked everything over.
"I feel like learning our packs laws would be essential in the first thing I learn. I don't want to mess up on anything and end up getting into trouble." Alyx smiled.
"Great. Here you go, and come find me when you're done." She handed me the leather book and I stood.
"Alright, I'll be back later." I smiled at her and left to read the book in the garden. I sat down on the bench swing and sighed. I opened up the book and in large, cursive writing it said the following:
'Laws of the Lycanthrope Kingdom.' Huh, I didn't know they named their kingdoms. Neat. On the page next to it there was more writing. 'The Romanov's.' I started reading the laws and the very first one is in all bold.
'IF ANY RELATIVE OF THE MATE OF A ROYAL ATTEMPTS TO EXECUTE/HARM SAID MATE IN ANY WAY, WILL BE EXECUTED IF SAID MATE DIES. IF SAID MATE LIVES, IT IS UP TO SAID MATE ON THE FATE OF SAID RELATIVE. SAME GOES FOR ANY OTHER ROYAL, CITIZEN, OR PERSON OF STATUS.' I scoffed. Well, my father already broke that law. It's that important it's the very first thing on the list. I scoffed as I looked at the next page.
'NO MATTER THE COLOR OR KIND OF CREATURE THE MATE IS, THE MATE MUST ACCEPT THEIR MATE AND NOT GO AGAINST THE WILL OF THE MOON GODDESS. IF ANYONE ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY THE MATE BOND OF ANY COUPLE, NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL OF STATUS SAID PEOPLE HAVE, THAT FELON WILL BE ARRESTED AND TRIED.' Wow. I can see why Mordikai was so angry with his father. It's literally a law and his father didn't respect that. I flipped the page again and saw the third law.
'IF ANYONE FOUND GUILTY OF TREASON, THAT SAID PERSON WILL BE TRIED AND THEIR SENTENCING WILL BE DETERMINED. IF SAID PERSON ATTEMPTED ANYTHING DISAPPROVING WITH THE ROYALS OR ANYONE OF STATUS, SAID PERSON WILL BE KILLED.' Jesus. This is brutal. I sighed as I continued to read the book, wondering what other laws they had.

I walked around trying to destress. I've been with my father all morning and some of the afternoon. We've been going over my duties as King and going over things I already know. I had told my father I needed a break and I started walking around, trying to find Amorelli. I rubbed my neck and saw Amorelli reading a book in the garden. I smiled and made my way toward her. I plopped down next to her and pulled her towards me to kiss her temple. She smiled and scooted up next to me. I chuckled a little at the book Amorelli was told to read.
"So, my mother is forcing you to read this one first huh?" She scrunched her brows and looked up toward me.
"Forcing me? No, I chose to read this one first. I thought it was the most important so I started off with this." My brows rose.
"Oh, well, I apologize then." She smiled.
"She did praise me for choosing it though." I laughed a little.
"Of course she did." I sighed and I rested my head against the bar of the bench swing and groaned. Amorelli giggled before she spoke.
"What's wrong love?"
"Well, I still need to see that Warlock and Alana, and I also still need to check in with the Moon Goddess. And then on top of that, I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with you." She smiled and leaned up to kiss me.
"I love you. I understand if you're going to be busy for a while. We're going to be going to war soon and I understand wanting to spend enough time with me. However, if you can't it's fine." I hugged her and kissed her head.
"You truly are amazing Amorelli. I love you too." I rubbed her back as she continued to read our laws. We sat there for another half hour when my father came out into the garden looking for me.
"Mordikai? Come on, you've had quite the break. Time to get back to work." I sighed and kissed Amorelli quickly and stood.
"What next father?" He smiled and gave a small chuckle.
"It's time we talk to that warlock." I chuckled and felt Comrade and Alistair awaken.
'Kill him.' They both said in unison. I walked with my father to the dungeon and walked to the very last cell. The Warlock was sitting on the ground and I growled in anger. The Warlock chuckled and stood. He walked over to the bars of his cell and smirked.
"Well, hello, your majesty," I growled once again, feeling Alistair come to the surface. I let him take control and proceeded to watch from the background.
"We meet again."
