The King's Birthday

Today is a very special day. It is the King's Birthday! He spent most of this morning preparing his address to the citizens of the capitol. After he finished, he walked out onto the balcony and spoke into a device Father Benson had set up.

"Good day ladies and gentlemen! Before the festivities begin, I would like to recite a riddle. As the king, I feel like it is my duty to present a truly challenging riddle. I have written it down here." He said as he pulled a paper from his pocket. Then, he read the riddle.

I have a friend in the academy. He is a professor there and everything he says is in some sort of code. I was looking for Jester, so I knocked on my friend's door. My friend stepped out, greeted me, and said this.

“This morning I tried a fun new seating style for the kids during the morning assembly. I helped arrange them into rows of twenty one. The kids didn't care, but I really loved it. I liked the second column the best.”

What did the proffessor really say?

After reciting the riddle, the king placed the paper back in his pocket. Then he turned to the crowd and said, "Thank you for listening, feel free to come to me when you think you have the answer. There will be a prade in the afternoon and a feast in the evening. Anyone with a gift may present it during the feast. I hope everyone enjoys my birthday." The crowd clapped and cheered and the party started!
