Today, the Benson brothers are playing a game. Each of them are holding a small ball. They need to toss it into a hole 13 meters away from them. Father Benson made up the game and these are the rules.
1) Each brother tosses their ball in turn.
2) If the ball misses the hole, they must go to where the ball landed and toss again.

3) The balls have been magically enchanted to fly in a straight line and not bounce when they land. They are also very light so the kids don't strain themselves too much.
4) The child with the lowest amount of tosses wins candy.
They all decide to practice tossing their balls and then play the game. After practicing for the afternoon, Mark goes first. He tosses the ball around and makes it in on his fourth toss. Luke trys next and makes it into hole in 34 tosses! He put way too much strength in his tosses. John is the last to try. He knows he can only toss his ball 2, 5, 7,and 12 meters. How many tosses does John need to make it into the hole?
