Most of the Orcs used swords as a weapon and some of them used cudgel. In total, he had eight swords and two cudgels, as for the rest they were either stained with poisonous blood or scrapped by his blows.
Odin carried them on his shoulder by tying them with strings from the leather pouch and headed off in the distance to eat his dinner.
He didn't start a fire in order to avoid detection as ate dried bread with some fruits and nuts.
After a quick rest, he piled everything from the leather pouches and looked for anything useful
Although they were pouches but considering the size of the Orcs, it's pretty much a leather bag for humans.
There were some coins and dried meat but Odin had no interest in any of them.
‘I am not sure how much of a difference is there between our digestive systems, but I don't want to take the risk unless I run out of food.’
He was rather disappointed as he didn't find anything useful but his mood took a hundred and eighty degree spin after he found a piece of folded paper.
It was in the leather pouch of the big orc. It looked crude compared to the paper he saw in sister's office, but what mattered here was its content
It's a map of patrol routes!
‘I had no idea they were this organized but they'll die faster because of that’ thought Odin after he buried the unnecessary weapons
After strapping two swords on his waist Odin headed off with a predatory grin
The Hunt had just begun…
...
It was dead of the night in the wastelands when stars shined it’s brightest. The cold wind blew after a hot late summer day, and gentle moonlight shone down from the three moons hanging in the night sky.
Despite this being a desolate area, nature still didn't fail to show its grace to all the creatures living here.
Unfortunately, the poor creatures living here couldn't have a good night's sleep in this peaceful environment.
*Clang*Clang*
Kuuaaahh
*slash*
Huff.. Huff.. Odin panted as he sliced the head of an orc. It was the last petrol team he was fighting tonight.
After he left the area with a map, he managed to kill three more teams before he became mentally exhausted.
He slept for three hours after midnight and headed out to kill the last team before dawn.
Last one remaining
Odin panted as he looked at the orc rushing at him with a cudgel in his hand
*clang*
He blocked another blow and kicked the orc in the stomach.
Grraahh
The orc growled at him in pain and lunged at him again
Cheh it's getting boring now
*Slice*
Odin decided to finish this off as he ducked sideways and sliced the orc in half. After fighting multiple battles without any proper technique, his second sword also became scrap metal.
Phew.. Odin plopped down again not minding the bloody mess around him.
This was the first battle he had fought completely using this physical strength.
He had gotten used to his illusion abilities in the three battles before this.
‘This is inefficient’ thought Odin as he gulped down water to soothe his dry throat.
He had tried everything from laying out traps to making the Orcs believe that solid ground was a pit, and finally using stealth stills on his sword.
Everything worked, but it wasn't satisfying enough for him
‘I can see why class skills are important now’
He was glad to have this experience because in just a day he had gotten used to his new skill and as long as gets a little better at using world resonance, he wouldn't have any difficulty creating his first class skill.

He was eager to find out a lot of things after this battle so he asked ominira,
“When I used stealth skill on my sword it worked decently, so doesn't that mean it's suitable to become a swordsmanship skill?”
“Yup. There are a lot of skills that use the law of illusion as the foundation. For example assassin’s dagger skills, dark swordsmanship, etc..”
Odin became more curious about that as he continued,
“How does this work then? wouldn't that mean they're using powers from a different path?”
“You are forgetting something very important regarding this matter. Things like path and limitation to aspects only matter when you reach the pinnacle of your class.”
As Odin thought about it deeply as ominira continued to speak
“The number of people who are qualified to even think about this are in the minority, and those who can succeed are even less”
“Makes sense. There might be a very limited number of people who even know something like this and even if they did, without sufficient knowledge there's no point in worrying about these things until they reach the pinnacle of their class”
‘How many could even reach the pinnacle in their class? It might not even be one in a billion
He was rather interested in this topic so he asked again
“Does that mean that I am the only one who can walk on the path of illusion?”
[Unable to answer the question]
‘well it’s not surprising’ thought Odin as he saw the runes in front of him
“I can't answer that but regarding your previous question, a swordsman can use any swordsmanship technique on the path of swords, the same way you can use any weapon with illusion.”
“Is there a difference between the two?”
“Very much so. One will focus on sword qi or sword force, etc.. And they can use any object for that without much trouble, on the other hand, you can only use the law of illusion on stronger weapons, otherwise they'll be ineffective.”
“Hmm.. too bad but I guess that makes things fair.”
A swordsman might be able to kill very powerful opponents with a wooden stick while using illusion related powers due to their sword qi, but Odin wouldn't be able to kill a chicken with it.
That is, of course, if he doesn't use world energy with it. Swordsmen use world energy with their qi and they cultivate their body too, on the other hand, Odin can only use raw world energy without any medium so the efficiency for that is beyond absolute trash.
“Does that mean I can only use high-quality weapons in the future?”
Odin asked as he thought about the reward he'd get after finishing the quest.
‘It won't be useless like my current swords too right? Come to think of it why didn't I receive the reward yet?’
“Weapons above d grade are usable for the time being”
“That's great” spoke Odin as he stood up
“Would you like to receive the rewards now?”
‘Did I not get the quest completion message because I was talking with Ominira?’
“No, let's do that in the morning.” Replied Odin as he headed towards the place where he had buried the weapons.
I'm sure I won't have a good night's sleep if I get a new quest now, mumbled Odin as he thought about the second quest from the last time.
…
The orange sun painted the landscape in a golden hew, driving the chill of the night away. A symphony of insect sounds filled the air in this tranquil morning. They sang and buzzed in melody, acting as an orchestra in the nature’s performance.
Odin stretched his arms and despite sleeping on the dried land, he woke up more refreshed than in his own room
‘Soon... I'll have the freedom to live wherever I want
Keeping up with the good mood he decided to claim the rewards first

Odin was interested in the second quest but he put more attention on the rewards at the moment
He looked at the scroll that manifested in his hands with sparkling eyes
‘How can this thing hold weapons?’
He didn't wait any longer and channeled his consciousness into it just like he did with Ominira
What Odin saw in his right eye after that was information and models about a lot of weapons
‘There are hundreds of them!!’
There were literally every type of weapons available like swords, spears, daggers, knives, morning stars, chains, whips, and some that he couldn’t even recognize.
‘I was worried about not getting a decent weapon but this is great’ thought Odin as he looked around in excitement.
He decided to first randomly pick some of them and look into their information

Odin was amazed after looking at so many different types of weapons and the various special effects they had.
As the skills and effects were directly released by the weapons themselves, he could use them without any issues.
He was very impressed by many of the weapon’s designs and some of them had very cool-looking abilities but still, he didn't choose any of them.
‘I have to choose something that is more practical and improves my efficiency of world resonance.’
He wasn't swayed by the amazing skills. He had to keep in mind that his main powers lay with the illusions he created.
He was already exhausted after using world resonance for illusions, so if he had to focus on other things on top of that… it would be very energy-consuming.
After searching for a while, he finally found something that he felt was perfect for him.
