[Evolution of Bloodline forcefully interrupted]
Odin furrowed his brows after looking at the second message, but became delighted afterwards. ‘Looks like it knows what I want.’
Odin had a lot of questions in his mind, but one thing was for certain that he had absolute trust in ominira.
He knew from the bottom of his heart that it would never harm him; everything it does has always been for his own good. Though it would be great if I could get answers to some of my questions.
As if it sensed his thoughts, another message floated up.

What the- so I can even talk with the tome now? That sure is convenient. As Odin Was feeling joyful, another good message popped up.
[Commencing Phase 1 initiation]
[Estimated time required 12 hours]
He was glad as he had already made preparations just in case the process took a long time.
He felt an unbearable amount of pain inside his brain; it was almost as if his neurons were stretching out, and his brain itself was expanding. He felt a burning sensation in his consciousness and it was without a doubt an unimaginably tormenting process.
He knew that the true essence of ominira lay with his mind, all of the changes that occurred to his body were barely a fraction of it, ‘but it’s still too freacking painful’ thought Odin as he bit down on his pillow.
It must have been due to my Body's strength and all Ominira did in my body was just to stimulate it into an evolutionary state. Without this, my physique wouldn't be able to handle the speed of my thoughts after synchronization
It was like using a hi-tech processor to input data into a vintage computer
Odin was not even surprised at this point by the numerous words he knew now, he had gotten used to a lot of information just passively provided by Ominira.
Thankfully for him, he did not have to be in excruciating pain for long as he lost his consciousness and succumbed to slumber as a response given by his body's defense mechanism.
…
The next day, at 4 o’clock in the morning.
Odin’s consciousness gradually seeped in as if a fog had been lifted from his mind. His senses had been expanded to an unimaginable level and he could even hear people sleeping in the first layer of the underground mine.
He can feel the moss on the stone walls, the winds passing by hundreds of meters away can still make him feel cold when his consciousness reaches there.
It was not a mere expansion in his range of six senses, his consciousness and thoughts now seemed almost like a physical entity, traveling across hundreds of meters.
He had a feeling that if he wanted to mine some Vidre stones now, he could just do it by a thought. Of course, it’s just a feeling, he couldn’t do it practically for now as he didn’t have any skill.
He decided to walk out but failed miserably, he bumped into a wall and not surprisingly, there was a dent in the Stone.
‘Damn! I feel like a little baby now who can't even control its own body.’
He cursed for a while and barely managed to sit once again and started exercising to control his strength.
Just like that, an hour passed by and Odin calmed down all his thoughts. In this short period, he gained complete control of his body. It was a testimony of just how strong his mind had Become.
Unbeknownst to him, his aura has changed completely. It started evolving when The Wanderer gave him his name and it's finally completed today. But with Ominira concealing the aura of both itself and it’s user, no one including Odin himself found that out.
Not a trace of youthfulness could be seen from the silhouette sitting in this cave. An almost visible force field was emitting out from his body, pressuring everything around him.
If any living creature were to be present at this exact moment, no matter the strength they possessed, they would have to kneel down in front of this person.
It was an absolute suppression in the hierarchy. Unfortunately with his current powers he had no idea about how to actively activate his aura and it disappeared just like it came.
Odin felt a slight itching sensation on his right eye socket and gently removed the eye patch, his fingers scraping against the newly washed cloth. The sensation reminded him of the times when he played hide and seek with a blindfold as a kid.
‘Could it be…’
Although he can only remember bits and pieces of his erased memory, he immediately recalled his conversation with The Wanderer about how Ominira would take something from him, but the returns would be far greater than what he could imagine.

And just as he had said, just from the initiation of the Phase 1 he had already gained so much. He wouldn't have this much knowledge and sharp senses with just his bloodline, ‘and that is after ignoring the dangers that came with it.’
All of a sudden a purple glow flashed in his right eye and a gentle energy spread throughout his body and concentrated into his brain, greatly nourishing it.
This time he could easily communicate with the tome called ominira, it was a hard to describe sensation as he felt the location of the tome had shifted from his right eye to his consciousness.
To be more accurate, ominira was never truly into his right eye. His right eye was just a sacrifice required to initiate his connection with the Tome.
Now that the synchronization is complete, his right eye is now permanently gone and he can never recover it no matter what means he uses.
Despite knowing that, the itching sensation in his eye socket gave him a strand of hope. He sat on his bed, not daring to look into the broken mirror as he waited to receive further messages.
He didn't have to wait for long as a string of runes popped up one after another.

[The Eye of Veritas is being created]
Odin was utterly baffled by what he read, could it be that Ominira could not speak of the wanderer's name?
And more importantly, what is this eye of Veritas? Just as he thought about it he sensed that could no longer communicate with ominira as colors of dark blue and red spread across his entire consciousness and a new purple energy was forming.
He knew from a glance that red energy definitely belonged to The Wanderer.
After a while a vortex similar to the one he saw in the wanderer's eye formed in his consciousness and all of the mixed energy concentrated in a spot.
Everything went back to normal and he could sense that his right Eye was now completely grown, but that’s not all there is to it.
He felt no difference in his vision, and he got the information from ominira that the eye of Veritas cannot see anything in the material world, but that’s all it told him.
If he wanted to know how he could use that eye, he had to communicate with ominira in order to understand that, which he unfortunately couldn’t at the moment.
He had no time to check out his new organ as he could almost see the sunlight far away and in just a short while everyone would be heading to the dining hall to eat breakfast.
He had to make use of this time to head back to his room and go to sleep, he will think about other things after a short nap.
With just a thought, his body moved and he could feel each and every cell of his body in his absolute control.
He flashed by with an extreme speed and within just a few minutes, he was back to his room and plopped down on the bed, exhausted. As a result of Ominira’s synchronization, he also remembered the first time when he met the wanderer.
…
Past:
In one of the underground tunnels in Vidre stone mine, three slaves were heading towards the mine from the west side. Chilly wind was blowing from the nearby peaks, and as they were closer to the bottom of the second layer the temperature kept getting lower.
“Fuck did anyone check the ventilation system today? It smells like dogshit in here.” Shouted Rolf while kicking an unsuspecting rock to the wall.
As people sometimes threw trash at the bottom, it caused nearby cave entrances to be filled with a foul smell
“Yeah, I feel the same man. This whole place reeks of sweat and moss.” Complained Darrick as he dragged his feet across the tunnel.
“So how is your collection going? Enough for this week’s food?” Rolf asked them as they chatted with their usual cursing about daily life
“The work is going well in my area at least. What about you 2709?”
“What’s the point of asking this fool? He can’t even come up with a name for himself; do you think he’s going to answer you?” Rolf retorted.
“Well it’s not like we are supposed to have names to begin with, you know it’s against the rules, right!”
Darrick nagged him for a while, but he was not serious at all. They both knew that although having a name was not allowed, as long as some Stickler like Shane didn’t notice them, all is well.
As for 2709, they would be donkeys if they didn’t realize that he wasn’t a total fool after interacting with him for all these years. He can understand and answer questions normally occasionally, just like normal people.
However, he only acts like that towards his close friends and sister, as for the reason? They didn’t ask him as it didn’t really as long as he finished his task.
“Yeah, yeah, as if anyone would bother about what we are talking about anyway.” Replied Rolf as they reached an intersection.
“You know that Lucas got killed two days ago right? That Shane sure is ruthless.”
“Tch.. you can do whatever you want as long as you are a strong mage like him.”
As Lucas was a popular figure among the slaves, his death became a hot topic among the slaves. They didn’t know the whole truth as all they were aware of was that he got killed by Shane for breaking the rules.
That is except for his close friends, such as them. They saw it coming from a mile away and yet they didn’t manage to stop him before it was too late.
If the slaves were to know that one among them actually became a junior mage, it would result in a lot of youngsters having rebellious thoughts. Neither their leader nor Shane wanted that, and so the whole accident was kept under wraps with tacit agreement.
“It’d be great if we were born aboveground in a noble family, without the fate of being a slave for the rest of our lives”
“At least we aren’t fools like him,” replied Rolf as he looked at 2709 following them with a dull expression, intentionally mocking him as he knew he was ‘pretending’.
“Don’t be mean to him Rolf; although he doesn’t understand anything most of the time, he at least finishes his work on time.”
As Rolf always finished his tasks late, Darrick never missed an opportunity to nag him for this.
“Whatever man, let’s get to work or we will get scolded by supervisors.”
“That's true, 2709 you go to the east side and we will go north and south, let's meet up after six hours here.”
“Sure. We’ll eat together later on, Hope they give us some meat this time.”
2709 starts walking to mine as he hears Darrick say ‘as if’ and laugh with Rolf.
‘Those two sure are happy despite being in this hellhole,’ he thought to himself
But they are a bit naive to break the rules. It’s foolish to think that no one will notice them slacking off and having names. We are not allowed to have freedom, not even in something trivial like choosing a name.
They think that I am paranoid for acting witless, but what they don’t realize is that a smart slave isn’t a good slave to have. They’re better off dead, just like the case 2 days ago.
The memory of Lucas arguing with sister was fresh in his mind, and so was his corpse a day after.
He walked towards his area and thought that it was better to behave like a fool than to end up being dead. If not for sister I wouldn't care whether I lived or died as well.
“Really? Why don’t you die then?”
A deep voice came into his ears out of nowhere, sending a chill down his spine.
