Very few people know the exact situation of our world.
Some say there is only one planet, some say there is only one plane of existance, other think that as long as you become strong enough you can ascend to godhood.
They’re all right and at the same time wrong, because only on some planets is present the energy necessary to train one’s own body to the peak, to the point they can literally destroy their own worlds, fortunately when a being becomes that powerful, the heavens send a trial.
Pass it and ascend, fail it and return to nothing.
Among the countless life forms, in the countless years only seven beings managed to reach the real peak of strength.
They’re called sovereign, and no one knows if it’s coincidence or not, but they all represent the peak of an element: fire, air, water, earth, lightning, light and dark.
People know that in the vast universe there are still many undiscovered elements, but because of their rarity and the fact that there is no sovereign with those elements, every element apart from the primary seven is considered useless.
For those who know the strength ranking, sovereigns are their Gods, they are immortals and have the power to destroy whole words with just a flick on a finger or a sneeze.
-Then why am I dying?-
Looking at this body, one could only describe it with the word: decaying.
-How can the other sovereign still be fine? I was the last to ascend 20 trilions years ago and I’m already in this situation… pathetic-
In reality, the being knew why he was slowly dying… simply put he didn’t want to live anymore, or more like, he didn’t have anything that interested him anymore.
He had once been weak and naive, however that only got him nearly killed, so he became strong and cunning in order to get revenge; then he decided to follow that road until the end.
He embraced the darkness and dominated everything, nothing was wrong for him, he would use everything and everyone for his goal and would never leave anyone alive in his path.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
When he finally stopped, he was alone at the top, with nor enemies or friends he reached his goal.
However, the being had forgotten something: no one is supposed to live alone, else everything would lose purpose; he tought it wouldn’t matter, he was betrayed too many times and his soul had already became of the same color of the element he used: pitch black.
It was better to stay alone; at most when he was really bored, he would create or find and practice some new techniques, he would also learn what he didn’t know as long as he could.
How much wrong could he be, he would slowly understand it in 20 trillions years, and it would lead him to his actual situation.
In order to not die, the Dark sovereign decided to once again take interest in the world.
A day was enough for him to see everything that happened to him once again: brothers that would betray each other, arrogant people who used someone else power as theirs, cowards who would beg their most hated enemy for their lifes, endless killing.
For hundreds of years the sovereign watched their struggles, but nothing changed, everything was as the dark sovereign remembered it; nothing more, nothing less.
He was going to really wait for his death when his gaze reached one lonely planet of the lower planes; that planet had very little Qi (tough they called it mana) and their civilization was rather advanced.
Tough its technology being rather advanced, the population of the planet was divided between cities and villages.
The peoples in the cities were normally safe as the demon beasts could not reach them, but the villages were anything but safe.
And in the middle of a village, the was a little girl with the biggest and purest soul the Dark sovereign had ever seen.
