Ch 9.0
Do you wish to connect to Royal Road?YesNo
After a long 24 hours had passed in the real world, Joshua was back in his capsule eager to start since 4 days had passed in the game world while he was locked out of the system, the penalty for dieing in Royal Road! Not only did he lose 4 days worth of game time he would also lose 1 level and there would be a small penalty on his skill proficiency.
Connecting to Royal Road with a flash of light, Joshua was back in the game as his avatar Alexander who was half human and half dragon.
With a quick glance he found that he had respawned at the city's gate, the safe zone. Looking up ahead he saw a completely different sight compared to when he first saw the hunting grounds. Players were running around while chasing the little white bunnies and as each bunny died their body would eventually turn grey and disappear, sometimes leaving loot behind.
Looking around he found no sight of the crimson bunnies that were so abundant before. Now all he saw were the players giving chase after the helpless white bunnies hopping away whereas before the crimson bunnies could be seen virtually everywhere, hunting down players an wreaking havoc wherever they go.
After a few minutes of watching some of the players killing the bunnies and collecting the items the bunnies dropped Alexander suddenly smacked his face with the palm of his hand.
"The item drops! I died before I could pick anything up!"
Remembering his broken sword Alexander quickly pulled out his inventory window. A quick glance at the screen revealed one canteen of water and a sword that he wasn't able to use and his hooded cloak that had frankly seen better days.
"Well I did toss away the broken sword...probably shouldn't have done that. Hmm lets see I have no money and I'm all out of food. I have a sword but I can't use it and I definitely don't want to sell it.I have to make some money but I don't want to try fighting the bunnies with my bare hands again."
Alexander's body gave off a shudder as he recalled the scene of a bunny dangling on his privates as he ran around in circles
screaming "bloody murder!" as the rest of the attacking bunnies finally put him out of his misery.
His beginners clothes were also ripped to shreds from the rabbits' attacks.
With no food, no money, no tools and no usable weapon our protagonist soon realized the gravity of his situation.
...
Many hunting parties were returning to the city's gate. Thanks to Alexander's efforts despite getting himself killed the number of crimson bunnies were greatly reduced. Thanks to having to only fight a small number of crimson rabbits the players, during the 4 days Alexander was gone, had finally eradicated the crimson bunnies. The players during those 4 days also quickly learned the benefits of a good party which made killing the tough bastards a lot easier.
They didn't know why the number of crimson bunnies suddenly went down but they were thankful for whatever caused it. The crimson bunnies were estimated to be around level 30 and with the 50% boost at night they could easily rival a normal level 40 warrior.
If the hundreds of bunnies were still around than the thousands of players who chose to start in Rosenheim would of been stuck in the kingdom with no way of being able to level up since the bunnies would keep massacring them, which would only make the crimson bunnies keep growing even stronger as the players attempted a suicidal attack with their low levels. Because of that many players were overjoyed to find that many of the crimson bunnies had disappeared from the beginners level hunting grounds.
As the players were about to enter the city pleased with the success of their hunt they stopped at the unusual scene before them.
"Heuk heuk heuk heuk heuk!"
The sound came from a man sitting right outside the city's gate. With his head cast down crying while tightly hugging his knees the returning players felt pity for Alexander, for he was the man sitting outside the city's gate crying for his misfortune.
"Hey, cheer up there's always hope "
"Don't feel to bad there's I'm sure good times will come"
"Oh you poor thing I hope things turn out okay for you"
"Have hope for Freya is our savior and if you pray to the goddess, she will aid your lost soul in your time of need."
...
Many of the players just stopped talking and simply stood and stare at the priest.
"Wow really dude?"
"Someone here is way too into his character"
"Freaking role-players"
"Sense the mood idiot"
"Omg~ did he just like seriously just say that? Like Omg"
"Please stop saying omg it's annoying."
"Omg~! You did not Just tell me what to do! Omg~!"
"Hey stop saying omg! It's also getting on mine and everyone's nerves as well"
"Omg girl you better back off! I will smack you with my purse. Mmhmm."
"Wow where do you think you are? On Jersey shore? Fine bring it b*****. Bring all 4ft of your midget *** over here."
"Omg! Oh no you didn't~! Boys show geek girl over here what is up ya hear?"
"What? 5 against 1? Th-that's not fair!"
"Like I care Loser~!"
The players that were previously trying to comfort Alexander quickly formed a ring around the "geek" girl and the 4 feet "Jersey shore" drama queen girl along with her 4 muscular boys that had obviously edited their characters with huge bulging muscles. The crowd was silently watching, waiting for the fight to start. As the the "Jersey shore" girl and her 4 boys crew spread out and surrounded the poor girl the crowd began to chant and cheer for it was obvious that they wanted to see their first player vs ...players fight and although they agreed that the drama queen girl was annoying none came to help the poor girl that stood up to the midget girl backed up by her four boy slaves. All thoughts of Alexander at this point were completely forgotten.
Meanwhile throughout all the cheers and chants Alexander who wasn't sobbing to himself anymore
was getting increasingly annoyed by all the loud noise.
-Why is it so noisy?
-Ugh! Will whoever brought the whiny chihuahua b**** please shut it up!
-Arghhh! That chihuahua is seriously starting to get on my nerves. Someone better shut that thing up before I-hmm?
...
...
...
-Ah finally some peace and quiet!
"Fight! fight! fight! fight!"
"F*** that ****** up!"
"Boo! Start fighting already!"
-Oh for f***** sake!
Equipping his hooded cloak, with his cowl up and his face hidden, Alexander pushed through the crowd heading towards the source of all the commotion.
Meanwhile Sarah the so called "geek" girl was starting to sweat. Sarah did not look like a geek at all. She was in fact quite pretty. She had long eyelashes, bright blue eyes, which was further complimented by her smooth white skin. She had long curly light brown hair that matched her tall figure.
Her avatar reflected that image and it was clear that there was no way such a natural beauty could have been edited in the avatar creation step. The only geeky thing about Sarah was the long purple robes she wore accompanied by a large pointy hat and the wand in her hand, which wasn't her fault since that was the starting gear for wizard noobs. The "Jersey shore" girl was more pissed off by the girls pretty looks rather then by Sarah's words.
Sarah has a very short temper which led to her reckless decision of accepting the challenge of the annoying "Jersey Shore" girl who not so surprisingly came as a set with her four boy tools. Looking around with her eyes pleading for help she could only feel her hopes falling as no one came to her aid. Instead the other players who shared her opinion surprisingly formed a ring around the 6 closing off any escape routes the girl could of taken. At that moment to her at least it felt as if the world has given up on her as she lost almost all her faith in humanity. It was then at this moment she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Turning around she faced a hooded man, his cloak worn out and his beginners clothes covered with rips and tears. Staring at his beginners clothes she realized it was the man they were previously all trying to comfort.
"Need some help?"
Sarah continued to stare at the man with a confused look on her face.
"What?"
"Like I said, need some help?"
"Sorry, I appreciate your offer but even if I did accept your help it's still 5 v 2. Even if these jerks are annoying I can see based on their equipments that they're probably each around level 20. And don't take this the wrong way but I don't think you're going to be be able to be of any help and you're probably still around level 3 since you don't have any new equipment. Thanks for offering, it was sweet of you, but I don't want you to die and regret trying to help me."
"Don't worry about all that stuff."
"Huh?"
"Look, I want to shut Miss Chihuahua over there just as much as you do. Frankly you could use all the help you can get even if that help looks like a level 3 noob. So just add me to your party already since I would regret it even more if I don't show Miss Chihuahua and her little boy band over there whats up."

"Sorry for the wait and by the way I'm level 28."
With that Alexander walked towards the front leaving LunaBells standing in the back who was shocked into silence.
"Hello sweetheart I hope I haven't made you and your friends wait too long."
"Omg don't even speak to me you noob. Newsflash ripped shirts were so last century ago."
*Ping*
Your party has been challenged by the party of KittyPrincessMeow.
Do you wish to accept following the duel?YesNo
Alexander flashed a smile behind his hooded cloak as he accepted the duel.
-Oh ho ho! I am so going to enjoy this. And KittyPrincessMeow? How am I not surprised.
A screen popped up counting down till the moment the duel started. The minute the timer appeared the annoying girl started speaking again.
"Omg~! This is just so funny. Hahaha I can't believe this noob-"
-3
"-just accepted the duel. Look at his clothes it's so-"
-2
"-obvious that he's still wearing beginners clothes he-"
-1
"-must be such and idiot if he thinks he can-"
Before the annoying KittyPrincessMeow(KPM for short) could finish her words Alexander was right next to the little brat with his fist deeply planted into her stomach.
Reeling back with her hands clenched tightly over her stomach KPM shouted at Alexander.
"Th-That Freaking hurts! *Cough-cough* How dare you *cough* punch a girl in the stomach!?"
"You're right. I'm sorry."
"Huh!? Y-you are? I-I mean of course you are you piece of tra-"
POW!
A fist cut off KPM's sentence as it smashed into her face with unbelievable speed.
The force behind the punch carried on through lifting KPM's body and sending it soaring backwards.
The crowds' heads turned as they traced the arch of KPM's flying body which landed on the ground with a thud.
The crowd turned around again to face the hooded man. Everyone there thought Alexander was a total noob but after
what they just saw they slowly began to realize the fact that maybe just maybe that they were the noobs.
Silence descended upon the area. The only sound was the shuffling of the feet of the ring of players as they slowly backed away, scared by the enormous display of power that Alexander revealed. They turned their gaze towards KPM's remaining boys. The four players were just standing there. Even when the hooded man started walking back to the other girl who was just as shocked as they were the four guys just simply stood there. Taking the girl's arm the hooded man walked past the crowd of players as they quickly moved to get out of his way. The crowd stayed behind as they watch the man walk off with the girl back into the city.
After the hooded man and the girl left one player standing in the crowd began to walk towards KPM's body. Kneeling down the player checked on KPM's status. She wasn't dead but she was knocked out cold. Standing up the player checked on the rest of KPM's party who were all still standing there, not moving at all.
The player poked one KPM's boys to check for any reaction. The man that the player poked simply fell over, his body knocking down the other three standing players. Nobody dared to break the silence that grew even heavier. They had just witnessed a player take down five an entire team without them even realizing it.
...
Back in the city Alexander was being pestered by his new companion.
"Th-that was so freaking cool!"
"Mmhmm"
"No, seriously! You were so freaking boss over there!"
"Luna-"
"I mean come on! You took out all 5 of them! I couldn't even see what happened and I was standing right in front of you!"
"Luna-"
"You have to tell me how you're so good! That instant punch thing was killer!"
"LUNA!"
"Oh-sorry...was just kind of excited. What's up?"
*growl~~~~~~*
...
"Uh...want to go eat? My treat."
!
A bizarre scene occurred in Rosenheim Kingdom that day as countless of players were pushed aside by a gust of wind. Many players would report on that day of seeing a gust of wind dragging a cute looking girl who looked quite frightened across the streets towards the nearest restaurant.
There was another rumor on that same day about a two players who dined and dash after clearing out the entire food supply of one restaurant. The next day a wanted poster appeared of a hooded man wearing beginners clothes and a mage covering her face with her big pointy hat.
