The power that the man exuded was different from anything else that she felt, except for the goddess Zaella. This man had an extremely large pool of mana, and this made Teaghan nervous. Nervous for what this man wanted, as she knew that she could not fight against or stop whatever the man wanted to do to her.
Teaghan watched as the man calmly walked through her floor. Even her monsters were terrified of this man. She watched as one kobold went to attack the man, but the man flared his power and made the kobold run as fast as it could away from the man.
The man-made it to the first-floor boss room and knocked the boss monster out before Alpha could even start to attack him.
The man, not perturbed by anything that Teaghan had created, descended floor by floor until he reached the fifth floor. Nothing perturbed him from his goal, not her monsters, traps, or creatures. Anything that tried to attack him was scared away, and he avoided all of her traps.
The only thing that stopped the man was when he encountered the extinct species that she had recreated. The man stopped and collected a female and male of each of the extinct species into cages and placed them into his bag. These cages were unique as they contained mana that allowed the creature to be safely kept in the cage. The cage could also recreate specific environments to ensure the survival of the creature.
When the man reached the fifth floor, he did something that greatly surprised Teaghan. He started walking on water. But what was also strange was that he was heading directly to her core, like he knew where it was. He made some stops to collect living samples of the extinct species.
Soon after he reached the fifth floor, he was in her core room.
When he reached her core room, he walked right in front of her core and pulled out different types of devices.
‘Oh, please don’t let this person steal my core. Oh god, I’m going to die,’ thought Teaghan, who was beginning to go into a panic attack.
While Teaghan was being scared witless and going through a panic attack, the man used his devices and took notes on whatever it read.

After around half an hour, the man packed away his devices and brought out a thin piece of metal. He placed the metal sheet on her core, and she felt something touch her. Something that was lightly caressing her soul. It felt very invasive to Teaghan like if she was still a human and somebody groped her.
After a couple of seconds, the feeling stopped, and the man took the metal sheet off her core and pulled out the notes he had made.
“Oh my, well, I guess you are the source of the mana flare that I was sent to investigate. Hmmm, from the mana readings, you must be part of or control a mana leyline,” said the man as he read through his notes.
The man looked at the metal sheet and started talking again. “So your name is Dungeon of the Lost, huh? Well, my name is Orius. First of all, I want you to know that I will not hurt you in any way or steal your core. I can feel your anxiousness. Anyways, you have provided a good amount of research material, and some species of creatures that I have only seen fossilized and that I know are extinct. So, since you gave something interesting to do, and you seem to be able to recreate extinct species, you can have these as a token of goodwill between us.”
Teaghans attention peaked when Orius, the powerful man, said that he would give her things. She watched as he reached into his bag. The bag was relatively small, but Orius’s arm kept on reaching farther into the bag than it should, kind of like the Mary Poppins bag.
When Orius found what he was reaching for, he pulled his arm out of his bag and within his hand was a small pouch. He poured the pouch out, and pieces of bones, metals, flat rocks, seeds, and other materials that she could not identify by site were poured out into a large pile in front of her core.
“These are all yours. Do whatever you want with them. The bag contained random things that I have collected that I don’t need. This is a gift to you from me for the trouble that I have caused you and the fascinating things that you have given me to research.”
With that, Orius turned around and ran out of her dungeon; the speed he ran allowed him to leave the dungeon within a couple of minutes. With him gone, Teaghan absorbed the pile of materials and went through all of their descriptions.

POV Archmage Orius
As he ran out of the Dungeon of the Lost, Orius couldn’t believe his luck. This dungeon has the ability to recreate extinct species, and who knows what else it could recreate.
He was even able to collect living samples of species that he knew had been extinct for thousands and millions of years. He would have to contact some of his colleague’s about this dungeon’s ability. He also knew that if it was common knowledge that the dungeon could recreate creatures, then the dungeon could be enslaved.
Orius decided that he would take academic research leave from his position as a professor at Nodia. He decided that he would buy a patch of land in the town and protect the dungeon. Unless a large force contained a bunch of very powerful people, he should be able to protect the dungeon from destruction or enslavement since he was an archmage.
He walked into the adventurer’s guildhall and asked the secretary where he could buy a plot of land. She directed him to the town hall, where there were land plots for sale.
Orius walked into the town hall and was directed to the place where he could buy land. He looked at the map and purchased an isolated but large land plot a little bit outside the town, just inside the Outrey Forest.
Once he had his land deed, he travelled to his land and started to set up his house.
