Teaghan watched as the group slowly entered the dungeon. They seemed somewhat cautious, but she thought that they were not cautious enough like the first group. But she heard part of a conversation that the group was apparently ordered to steal her core by a noble of some kind. Like she would let that happen.
Teaghan tried to connect to all of her creatures and monsters in the dungeon and pushed the thoughts of defending her core, defending the dungeon at a higher level than they usually were against standard invaders, than those trying to take its core.
They were smaller, and only the lizard looking man and the human girl seemed to know how to actually act in a dungeon. Even though the lizard and the girl didn’t seem to be all that good at, well, Teaghan guessed would be dungeoneering.
She watched as the non-human looking girl with flowers in her hair almost got killed by one of the chana rabbits on the first floor.
Teaghan watched as the group made many fumbles, and they were only on the first floor. She was not impressed, and she thought that most adventurers would handle her first floor like the first group that she encountered. Teaghan sighed and went back to watching as the group approached Alpha, the first-floor kobold boss.
She watched as the human girl used a skill that pulled Alpha’s attention to her, but Alpha appeared to be able to fight off some of the effects. Teaghan watched as the lizard and human girl fought the boss while the flower girl and the other pointed-ear male support and heal the two fighters near the back.
Wanting to get rid of this group as they were trying to steal her from her dungeon, Teaghan sent a couple of the hunter scorpion ants to take out one of the two supporters. She watched as three of the insects came out of their hidden tunnels and attacked the flower girl. The girl screamed, distracting her comrades and allowing Alpha to deeply injure the human girl. Before the group could get to the girl, the scorpion ants dragged her into the tunnels and killed her. The group, which she condemned for trying to steal her core, was still distracted, and Alpha managed to kill the lizard person and attacked the human girl before being killed himself after killing the human girl. The human male ran away from the boss, but he didn’t run towards the dungeon’s entrance. He ran down to the second floor and into the maze.
Within the second maze, the man quickly got lost. He surprisingly managed to mostly avoid most of the dangerous things during his crazed run through the maze. But he met his end only a couple of metres in by a spiked white grappler.
Teaghan looked back at the boss room and watched as Alpha started the process of respawning once the human male left the boss room and the rest of the group was dead. She found it amazing that the stronger creatures and monsters in her dungeon could respawn after being killed. And it was a process that Teaghan was not able to observe before as the first adventure group looking for the traveller, Hyùv, as they left once seeing the first floor.

After her dungeon instincts kicked in and unconsciously absorbed the group’s bodies, including everything that they had on them. They only had a few foodstuffs and basic weapons, but the mage had two books on them. Teaghan ordered one of the smarter kobolds to hold the books up and flip the pages so she could read them. And she found out that the first book was about magic arrays, and the other was about runes. She was surprised to find something like this on the human male’s body, as he did not seem very smart or was a strong mage. Which made the question of what he was doing with them. But as Teaghan thought about it with her limited knowledge, she assumed it was meant to help steal her core if they ever got into her core room.
She chose the page flipper kobold and another smart kobold to read the books. Hopefully, something interesting would come out of the endeavour.
Also, with that group being commissioned to steal her core, Teaghan decided that it was time to keep on building. But before she pulled up the dungeon interface, she got curious about something. She couldn’t remember the last time she pulled up her status screen, and with all that happened, she wondered if anything had changed. So she pulled it up and checked it.

After reading through her status screen, and saw that there were only a few changes. Such as her age, which Teaghan couldn’t really keep track of because there wasn’t a clock or calendar, and since she didn’t need to sleep, the days kind of melted together. But the new change was that her mana count disappeared, a biome effect section appeared, and she gained two new titles.
Teaghan figured that with the absorption of Lilith, and the creation of a mana leyline, this probably was the reason why her mana count disappeared from her status. But of course, she did not know all that much, and so what she thought was just conjecture at this point. So she just moved on to the new changes.
She already knew what biome effects were, so she focused on the leyline creator and dungeon leyline titles that she gained and pulled up their descriptions.
Leyline Creator
With the creation of a new mana leyline, the title gains access to the leylines mana. As its creator, the titleholder can use portions of the mana in the leyline to make the titleholder stronger and use the mana to do their bidding.
You have earned 5 DP.
Dungeon Leyline
The creation of a leyline within a dungeon is incredibly rare. As the leyline’s power increases, the dungeon core’s ability to use mana increases and the core can use it to influence their domain.
You have earned 5 DP.
‘Huh’ thought Teaghan. ‘Those titles are convenient, and the last title is a lot more helpful. Well, now I think it’s time for me to build the next floor.’
