POV Teaghan
Teaghan watched as the group of adventurers went through her first floor without many injuries being accrued during the time they were in her dungeon. They even defeated down the boss within a couple of minutes. But to Teaghan’s surprise, the group did not continue down to the second floor. They only collected materials from the room and the loot from Alpha, the kobold boss. There was even one guy that was writing and sketching on a piece of paper.
They all seemed in agreement to stop there, and Teeaghan watched as the group made their way out of the dungeon.
Truth be told, Teaghan felt that this group did well, and they also brought her something to play with.
When she absorbed the white liquid and the bowl, she received two blue screens, and only one of those screens described something interesting.
Wooden Bowl
A common wooden bowl made out of a white pine tree.
Low-Grade Healing Potion
A type of healing potion that is classed at low-grade. It has the ability to heal wounds with a percentage of effectiveness depending on how bad the wound is.
Teaghan created some of the healing potion and placed it in one of the crystal vials collected from a previous group. She then bottled the potions and placed them as loot for some of the more dangerous creatures that she has within her lower floors. The healing potion also gave her ideas for some future experiments.
With that, Teaghan went to check on her underwater experiment rooms.
When she looked at her underwater experiment, room number one, Teaghan saw that the room was a lot barer than it was previously. A lot of the creatures seemed to have died due to the warm temperatures. And the ones that did not die either evolved to be able to live in the temperature of the room or stayed the same.
Seeing that there were new types of creatures and that experiment room number one was a success, Teaghan pulled up the new creatures’ blue screens.
Heat Coral
A species of coral that continuously produces heat, warming up the area around them.
Coral Crayfish
A species of crayfish that has adapted to be able to live within heat corals and warm environments.
Flare Trahira
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
A species of evolved trahira that produces intense heat when it attacks. This evolved version has transparent scales that will glow a soft pink when it is about to use its heat flare attack.
Steam Tree
A species of tree that grows and thrives when its roots are submerged underwater. This tree uses heat to produce steam. No matter how deep the water is, as long as the roots can reach the floor, it will thrive in water.
Teaghan turned to the underwater experiment number two, and surprisingly, unlike the first room, this room was teaming with life. Teaghan could tell that while there were only one or two new species, the rest were enhanced by the water mana that the water crystals produced. She then pulled up the blue screens of the new species.
Blue Tangle Grass
A species of underwater grass that has been saturated with water mana. Only occurring near large sources of water mana, this species takes on a light blue colour. This species of underwater grass can also grow indefinitely.
Water Vines
A large species of vine has the ability to grow and float independently on top of water bodies. Due to the air that it holds within its vines, it can hold extreme amounts of weight while still floating, effectively creating islands of these vine groups.
When Teagan finished reading the blue screen descriptions, she was very happy with what she got from this experiment room. She then turned to the last underwater experiment room, and like the second room, the creatures within the third room evolved or changed some way to take on traits from the light crystals.
What Teaghan saw in this room was almost transparent bodies or creatures that used camouflage abilities to hide. Unfortunately, Teaghan remembered that she added lightning bat flowers to this room. Still, it looked like they all died and were unable to adapt quickly enough. She then pulled up all of the blue screens from this room.
Transparent Waterwheel
An evolution of the waterwheel plant, this plant is almost invisible within the water, allowing it to trap, hold, and consume more prey more easily.
Shedding Teleost
An evolution of the teleost fish, this fish lives in groups and has metallic coloured scales. As a defence mechanism, it will shed its scales, creating a metallic cloud of scales. The scale will cause severe irritation to any who are in the cloud of scales.
Light Crayfish
A species of large crayfish that has a camouflage ability that allows it to blend in with its surroundings almost flawlessly.
Teaghan was happy with these experiments’ outcome, and she decided that it was time to think about what she wanted her fifth floor to be like.

POV Guild Master Chiura Ogi
Chiura sat back and listened to the Tsethem group report back on what they found on the first floor.
“After the boss fight, our group decided that we were not prepared to go down to the second floor at this point,” stated the leader of the group, Tore. “We also found and collected these samples and drew up a map of the routes that we took.” After Tore finished talking, two other group members placed the samples and map onto her desk.
“Good job. Report to Kaya, the receptionist, for your pay and the bonus you get for collecting these samples.” With that, Chiura dismissed the group and watched as they left her office.
When they left, she groaned and leaned back into her chair. Ever since the information about a potential new dungeon came out, she has been hit with many influential people wanting information about it. That’s not even the worst of it. Chiura has been getting requests from noble groups from multiple nations to allow them to have their family have the first claim since this town is under no kingdom or empire. Giving her more and more paperwork to do.
Chiura has also been busy setting up a village closer to the dungeon. She chose the area of a small hunting village called Porta that was based right on the shore of Portgan Lake. She had a headache of negotiating with the village elders about building a larger village in their village. Still, once they found out about the potential dungeon, most of the townsmen were happy to have the guild in their town.
She had also been in negotiation with the local carpenters guild about helping build a new adventurers guild in Porta.
Chiura looked and placed the map in the guild’s safe, including the samples procured in the dungeon survey. The samples have to be kept secure until an evaluator employed by the guild is sent over to evaluate the objects collected.
Chiura groaned, looked at the stack of paperwork that was ever-growing, and got back to work.
