"Ahhh!" Khan screamed at the top of his lungs as he woke up from his nightmares.
"Kyaa!" The girls screamed in unison in response from khan's sudden scream.
He sat up with his body drench in sweat while panting heavily while staring at the girls who were on the side of the bed he was lying in.
Khan looked around he noticed wasn't in the forest anymore. He was in a modest room that had a small room with a desk, twin size bed, and a dresser.
The girls both jump at khan wrapping their arms around him, holding him tightly.
"You’re finally awake!" Shiro screamed in happiness with tears pouring down her face.
Hana doesn’t say anything, but Khan can also feel her tears dip down his body.
He couldn’t help, but feel happy because this was the first time anyone ever cried for him from an injury.
During his training for the government and deployment in the war, no one ever cried or felt extreme joy for Khan after surviving a life threatening injury.
They would just either yell at Khan for getting injured in the first place or just shrug it off as if it was a normal thing and send him back to training or the battlefield after he barely recovered. Yaza was the worst offender out of all of them.
During the war Khan and Juki was requested by another high ranking officer to help escort him to meet double agents they had placed in the enemy army.
The truth was that the high ranking officer was actually a sleeper agent for the enemy army who was activated during the start of the war.
Khan and Juki were deemed as future high potential dangers so the Officer used this chance to ambush them using the escort mission as a cover to get rid of Khan, Juki, and the double agents.
Then he would return to enemy country with all the government information after the ambush as he was under the suspicion of espionage.
The mission was a failure for the enemy because Yaza was sent to secretly follow behind and was able to stop the enemy from successfully killing Khan and Juki.
Juki came out with just a cut on his arm. All the double agents were killed before they could do anything. Khan was stabbed from behind from the Officer, but barely dodged just enough to have him miss the heart.
When Khan was on the floor bleeding out with Juki was trying to patch him up. Yaza just laughed and stepped on Khan’s stomach saying how weak he was for being almost assassinated.
Rin was the only who truly cared Khan, but he never got injured when he was with her since he was under house arrest.
If someone did want to injure Khan they would require at least 2 people who were at master class.
The longer they embraced Khan’s happiness soon faded into sadness. His heart felt like it was sinking into the darkness.
He remembered in the dream he had chosen to save Rin over them even when she asked him to save the girls instead.
They would willing to sacrifice their lives for his, but he just forsaken them.
‘It doesn’t matter it was just a dream, what matters is that they’re alive now.’ He tried to justify himself.
The girls stopped crying and stared at Khan intensely with their eyes still slightly red.
“You saved us from the wolf. You’re our hero!” Shiro said to Khan.
“Yes our hero!” Hana said in response to Shiro.
Their faces blushed red as they continue to look him in the eye looking for a reply from Khan.
Khan couldn’t respond because he felt his heart sank even deeper from the word Hero.
In the dreams he remembered Rin telling him he was no hero and that he was a fake.
It shouldn’t have affected him because he never truly tried to be a hero. He only followed orders and did what he could to strive for victory so he can survive another day, but the word stuck to him. He couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Breaking the awkward silence Shiro grabbed both of Khan’s hand and pulled him out of bed
“Let’s meet mother! I’ve been telling her about you and she wants to see you too!” Shiro said in excitement
Hana doesn’t say anything and looks down to the ground with a sad expression.
“Wait!” Khan screams, remembering his injury from the wolf
From the force of Shiro pull he fell over on off the bed pushing Shiro on to the floor.
He felt something soft and warm pressing against his lips as he was directly on top of Shiro.
With full force she smashed his cheeks with her open palms.
Khan rolled over off of Shiro, but what surprised him the most was that he felt no pain from the injury he had receive from the wolf when he was slammed against the tree.
“Too early!” Shiro screamed with her voice trembling as her cheeks turned bright red.
Hana cheeks also turned slightly red and looked away from the scene that just unfolded in front of her.
While avoiding Khan’s gaze Shiro grabbed one of Khan’s hand and pulled him up to head out the room with Hana following along
Outside the door Khan was able to quickly glance out the window on his right side. He saw that they were on the second floor surrounded by the forest.
The halls were quite spacious with simple art work covering the walls with 5 doors including the room he was just in and stairs that went to the first floor.
Khan guessed that Shiro might be a minor to mid class noble judging from the house and also the fact that She has a maid to following her.
When they reached to the end of the hall, you could tell the room was the master bedroom as it had a double door.
Shiro let go of Khan’s hand to push open both the doors before running inside of the room.
Khan walked into the room with Hana following behind looking down at the ground.
The room was much larger than the room Khan was in earlier. It had a large white desk, two large white dressers, a closest for the dresses, and 3 windows allowing the sunlight to brighten up the room.
He walked across the room to the King size bed with beautifully crafted brown wooden frames. On the bed the sheets were pure white set perfectly with no winkles as if it never has been used much.
You could say her mother was a beautiful lady. She had blonde hair and blue eyes just like Shiro with a beautiful smile that can win the heart of many men.

“Khan this is my mother Rona! Isn’t she pretty? Introduce yourself to her! Also Hana don’t forget to say hi too! She says she misses you.” Shiro said to them while pointing toward the bed.
“Hello Madam” Hana said as she bowed respectfully by bending both knees with her left leading and right directly behind the left.
“Hello Madam, My name is Khan. It’s an honor to meet you. Khan said respectfully following along with Hana.
A man came up from behind that appeared to be in his 50’s around the height of 5’11. He had long blonde hair, blue eyes that had a buff build with the aura of a seasoned warrior.
“Miss Shiro, dinner almost ready so go wash up with Hana. Let your mother rest.” The man said to Shiro and Hana.
“Ok! Bye mother! See you in a little bit Khan!” Shiro says.
Shiro ran out the room with Hana.
“Let’s talk in the other room.” The man says to Khan
They exit the room closing the door behind them. The room they enter was across the room where Khan first woke up.
The room was fairly large, but was still only half the size of the master bedroom. The man sat on the queen size bed while he gestured Khan to sit across from him using the chair from the desk.
“My name is Russell Rom, I’m Miss Shiro bodyguard.” Russell says to Khan while looking at him intently.
“My name is Khan La.” Khan replied
“Where are you from?”
“I don’t know”
“Why you were in the woods nearby”
“I don’t know”
“How old are you?”
“I don’t know”
Russell stared at Khan as if he was analyzing him
“During the fight with the wolf Shiro and Hana casted a ball of fire and shard of ice. Can you explain that in detail to me?” asked Khan.
Russell expression loosens up becoming friendlier
“That was magic. We can talk more about it later with my wife. Seeing that is your first time witnessing magic you’re most likely a commoner boy who got abandoned by you family in the middle of the woods? Russell asked
“Yes.” Khan lied
“You’re lucky then, that isn’t the first time it happened. We found three other children who weren’t fortunate as you. They either starved or froze to death. The forest is usually safe from monsters”
“What about the wolf?”
“I talked to a hunter in a nearby village and he took the blame for the wolf coming into this area. They hunted down the pack of wolves in the village area, but that one barely got away and ran to our forest to take refugee.
“I see. How did I survive the attack?”
“I was out looking for Miss Shiro and Hana. I saw smoke nearby and guessed it was most likely Hana because she knows fire magic.
When I found you guys it seems that you were somehow able to weaken the wolf Shiro killed it with her [Ice Shard] magic. We carried you home and you’ve been asleep for 3 days after I healed you. “
“You healed me?”
“Yes I know holy magic and healed your wounds.”
‘Magic shouldn’t exist. Is this a different world then? Not only did I age backwards it seems that I was teleported to a different world
It most likely has to do with Yaza spell then. It was something I’ve never seen and it seemed like he sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives to complete it.
I’ll use [God’s Meditation] to see if I can figure anything out. After I finish talking to Russell’ Khan thought to himself.
“I’m sorry I don’t know if this is something I should be asking about, but-----“
“You want to know about Miss Shiro mother, am I correct?” Russell interrupted.
“Yes I want to know.” Khan replied
“Her mother was killed about 2 months ago. Shiro hasn’t accepted that her mother is dead. Miss Shiro is a very young girl at the tender age of 7 so it’s understandable that she needs more time than an adult would, to cope with her loss.
Shiro substitute the portrait to be her mother and we all go along with it hoping that she will accept her mother’s death soon. ” Russell said with a sad expression.
Shiro was the same as him she loss someone very dear to her too, but not only that she only 1/6 of his real age was still willing to protect him while he forsaken that kindness.
Khan’s heart sank even further and felt like it hit rock bottom. He was so ashamed of himself. He felt like a piece of shit. Was this guilt he was feeling? Was it because of his pride that made him feel like this or because of the time he spent with Rin?
He wasn’t exactly sure. These feelings and emotion wasn’t something he started to develop until after the war.
Khan traveled the world to see the results of his actions and saw all the pain and suffering because of him. When he met Rin that was when he started to develop the fastest, but was cut short when she was killed.
The reason why he wasn’t able to develop feeling such as empathy and sympathy as a child was because he just wasn’t raised in the right environment.
When Young children were learning to play with other kids, he was covered in the bloods and guts of other kids when their bodies exploded from [God’s Meditation].
Khan couldn’t worry about their deaths as he was struggling to survive and learn how to perform [God’s Meditation] before the age of 7.
If you didn’t the technique by the age of 7 they killed you in front of the other children.
It was horrible, but he couldn’t do anything about it.
“Russell I’m not feeling well I’m going back to the room.” Khan said in a sad tone
“Go get some rest; I’ll call you when dinner is ready.” Russell replied
Khan went back to the room. He sat on the bed and activated [God’s Meditation]
