A New Successor

Abigail was inside of her father’s office. She found his massive computer and placed the key inside. The display of the computer loaded up with the blueprints of the rocket. It also had other information. It had a design of an unfinished metal suit designed for her. There were words next to the blueprint and it said, birthday present. Abigail started to tear up. She took the designs and downloaded them on her computer. Some guard walked into the office.

“Mistress Abigail.” they said. “What can we do for you, ma’am?”

“One thing,” Abigail says. “I want to complete my father’s goal. I want in on Phantom. The details my father received. I will take his place.”

Suddenly, a portal appeared and it was that cloaked figure. The one who was in charge of Phantom.

“Abigail Varnie.” he said.

“Hello sir.” she says.

“You want to take your father’s place?”

“I do.” she said. He came over and grabbed his father’s Phantom cloak and gave it to her. She took off the white trench coat and put the black cloak on.

“Before he died,” says the figure. “What info did he receive from the Dark Nova?”

“A cave in Canada has the coffin. A dungeon inside of a temple in some South American rainforest has the vial. The armour is on another planet.” Abigail said.

“You will need a stronger power source to power the rocket,” he said. “I may have the solution for that.”

“Where?” says Abigail. “I don’t think I can make urisnium.”

“You won’t need that,” he says. He opens a portal and steps through and Abigail follows. The portal empties out on a beach on a small island off the coast of Africa. The beach has nothing but the ocean breeze. It has seashells and the sand is crystal white. The two walk to a meteor that is black and is emitting an awful scent and leaking red blood liquid. The meteor had vines and plants growing around it, this hid it in the bushes by the beach.

“What is this?” asks Abigail.

“Death’s meteor,” he says. “Death is an immortal being that can make all of your wishes come true. Your father believed that he could create his ideal world and he ended up being killed. Death emerged from this meteor that came from the stars, he went into a deep sleep from a fight with many humans on this planet who cannot see his greatness. I hope you can see his greatness.”

“If my father died for this cause, then so will I.” says Abigail.

“Good.” says the figure. He takes a red shining gem that came from the meteor. There was only one inside.

“This is Death’s Gem,” he says. “It has a huge amount of power, enough to make a rocket that could travel the cosmos and also power any scanner required to find this armour.”

“Death’s gem.” she said. She is handed the gem by the figure.

THE END. TO BE CONTINUED.
