The School: Walk

Jessica and I walked home together. Previously, I had asked Martin and Eric not to come and so did Jessica. To be honest, it was because I wanted to talk to my Mom and introduce my Mom to her. It was a nice snowy afternoon.

“Jordan,” says Jessica.

“Yeah?”

“Do you think your Mom will approve of me?” asks Jessica.

“Probably.” I said as we walked through the snow. We saw a convenience store that was covered in snow and was mostly white with some nice logos and also a Circle K logo at the top. We walked inside of the place and found people robbing the store. Two men wearing full black tracksuits and ski masks had the clerk at gunpoint.

“I don’t think you want to refuse old man!” says one of the robbers. We saw it and we both headed closer. The clerk was an old man with no hair and a gray beard. He was helpless.

“Okay. Okay.” he cried out. “Take it all!”

“You aren’t taking anything.” I said.

“Stupid robbers,” says Jessica. Jessica activated her flames and my hands started to freeze up with ice in my hands as I shot ice at one of the robbers. Jessica dodged a kick from the robbers and tripped him as she kicked him into the glass with one foot. He collapsed on the ground. I shot the other and he fell through on top of him. The glass had been shattered and on the ground.

“Good teamwork.” I said.

“Yeah.” she nods. Jessica sees the SEIT logo on the back of the robbers hoodies and immediately knew what she was gonna do.

“Let’s run after them.” says Jessica. I nod. The two of us ran after them and they led us behind the convenience store where there were a bunch of men dressed in uniforms with a SEIT logo on it. There was even a van. We both ran towards the van.

“That’s the getaway van!” I yell. “Shoot the tires!”

I suddenly felt a kick from my back and Jessica had used her leg to kick me into the van. They closed the van and suddenly sleeping gas appeared out of the holes. I started to bang on the back.

“JESSICA! SOMEONE GET ME OUT OF HERE!” I yell as I fall asleep. The last thing I hear is Jessica’s voice.

“Ms. Ramirez,” says the men.

“Hey.” says Jessica. “Sorry I took so late, let’s bring Glaciov to Lord Storm.”

They got inside of the van. The van drove off with me asleep inside of it.
