Aldair Tower: Experimentation

Aldair Tower: Experimentation

My awakening was when my eyes opened for the light flashing into my eyes directly. I was in a lab on a bed where 10 scientists were wearing masks and proper light blue hospital clothing. Aldair was there two where he moved a machine that looked like a snake that was hanging on top of me. I was strapped to the chair and he started to come over with needles and other things he was trying to inject me with. I awoke and Aldair was pleased.

“Glaciov.” says Aldair. “So glad that you woke up.”

“Let me go you psycho!” I say trying to struggle.

“I will be injecting some chemicals to try to get that power to come out more.” says Aldair. “Close your eyes, Glaciov. This will hurt.”

Suddenly they started to inject me with this massive drill looking machine into my arm. I don’t know what they injected me with but it hurt. A lot.

“AAAGGGGHHHHH!” I screamed in pain. Everywhere he tried to inject me, I would try to use my powers. My eyes glowed blue and ice started to grow on my body like vines on a rock. My ice powers started to go rampant and the ice froze a heart rate monitor and shut it down.

Jessica was in the window and turned to watch as they were experimenting and injecting me with dangerous chemicals. She looked nervous. This was confusing because I thought she was with Aldair. Jessica walked inside and walked up to Aldair.

“Lord Storm.” says Jessica. “This is a bit much. He is in a lot of pain.”

“Do not question me, Ramirez. Leave this lab immediately.” he said. Jessica turned around and left. My heart started to silence as I closed my eyes. The ice all disappeared and Jessica turned around to see. One of the scientists put his hand on my chest.

“No heartbeat. He is dead.” says the scientist.

“Couldn’t survive huh?” asks Storm. He looks at my body which was laid down there, one arm covered in red marks from injections that I had received. I had frostbite on my lower face, including my mouth, cheeks and chin from pulsing ice there. Jessica came to my body and just stood there paralyzed.

“Jessica,” says Aldair. “He is dead.”

The scientists walked out of the room along with Aldair. Jessica was the only one who remained in the room when she put her hand on my head. She removed it and walked away.

“Jessica.” I said. I got up from the bed and she turned around.

“How did you-” asks Jessica.

“My heartbeat has turned really quiet.” I said in a chilly whispery voice. “I don’t know what Aldair injected me with, but it has made me retain properties of ice.”

I glance at my arms which start to change into ice as I put them to the ground of the lab. The lab entirely freezes and it freezes like a fridge inside of the lab. Jessica glances at my lower face when I get on my feet and put on my black shirt and white overcoat.

“Jordan,” says Jessica. “You have frostbite on your chin.”

“It’s okay. It doesn’t hurt.” I said. I looked at her sternly. “Why would you help a megalomaniac like him?”

“Because he raised me,” says Jessica. “When no else would.”
