James had a worried look, “Will, are you sure everything will be alright?”
“Of course it will be. You don’t have to worry about anything.” Will assured him.
“But do you really think that so much treasure will be left unguarded?” James asked.
Will was getting annoyed. “I haven’t visited that place so how will I know; even I doubt that such treasure exists in this kind of place.”
James nodded and said, “Yeah although I don’t want to go, I get tempted every time I think of the treasure.”
They both agreed to go search for the treasure at midnight; although they had spoken in a low voice Sam could hear everything clearly. Even he was tempted so he went to his room to get ready for midnight, around midnight when all were asleep two people were awake and they were running out from the village towards the forest. After an hour of walk they went inside a cave, they didn’t know that someone had followed them from the moment they left the lodge.
James and Will dug up the cave for hours and were finally able to retrieve a box, the box was big and it looked very old. The two of them opened the lock and were amazed to see the amount of treasures; they were overjoyed and hugged each other.
“Hey Will, looks like we no longer have to work, With this much treasure we will be rich.”
“Yes, with this treasure I will be rich.”
Will took out a knife and stabbed James; he didn’t think that Will would betray him. The situation was beyond his expectation, the knife was placed at his heart and although he was powerful than normal person he couldn’t recover from it. James died after few seconds while Will carried the box outside the cave. Sam was waiting for the two of them but he only saw one coming out.
As I had expected from a killer, betraying a friend for money.
Sam jumped from the top of the tree and landed in front of Will, Will was happily carrying the box but he noticed someone in front of him so he dropped the box and looked closely. He saw about 19 years old boy wearing a robe, he pointed at Sam and shouted.
“Who are you?”
“You know if you had come out with your friend then maybe I would have spared you but now you have to die.”
“HAHAHAHA… Kid, have you gone insane!!”
Will took out the knife with which he had stabbed James; the knife still had blood in it. Sam didn’t plan on using gun for the battle so he stepped forward without any fear. Will thrusted the knife at Sam although he was fast, he couldn’t match the speed of Sam as he was kicked at the side. The pain made him drop the knife but Sam didn’t stop as he punched Will’s face, the punch knocked him down to his knees. Sam used his knees and bashed Will’s face knocking him down. The punch and the knee broke Will’s jaw; he had only 200 HP remaining. He was moaning in pain but no one could hear him.
“Please don’t hit me. Take the treasure but please spare me.”
Sam hesitated although he had killed animals he has never killed a human so he wasn’t sure what to do.
What should I do? If I spare him he will bring nothing but trouble in the future.
As Sam pondered, Will took the chance and stabbed him at the stomach with a knife that he had hidden in his pants. Sam got angry and without thinking he kicked Will at the body, Will fell down in the ground but Sam didn’t stop as he kept on kicking. After few minutes the pain from his stomach made him recover, he pulled out the knife and looked at the ground where he saw Will’s face which was bloody and unrecognizable. His body had bruises all over and it looked horrible.
How can I do such a thing? There must be something wrong; I don’t remember beating him.
“Lilly what happened to me?”
He expected Lilly to answer but there was no answer, but after sometime Lilly spoke.
Master maybe it is because of the darkness magic, I did tell you that it will corrupt the user.
“How can it corrupt me so quickly, I haven’t even used it much?”

Although Sam had killed a human he didn’t feel any guilt nor did he feel uneasy. He thought that maybe it is the effect of Meditation; he took the box and put it in the inventory. He didn’t want the villagers to see the corpse and bring trouble so he tried putting the corpse at the inventory but it wasn’t possible.
“How should I dispose it?”
Sam dug a hole at the ground and buried both the body, he quickly returned back to the lodge. He didn’t go back to his room but went to Will’s room from the window. He wanted the villagers to believe that they ran away so he didn’t want the people to see their belongings. He looked every part of the room but couldn’t find anything valuable; he only found a silver colored laptop. There was no logo so he wasn’t sure which company it belonged. As he was about to open it Lilly stopped him.
Master don’t open it.
“Why shouldn’t I open it? Do you want me to do everything that you tell me?”
Sam opened the laptop and turned the power on.
Master I know that you are angry with me for not telling the truth but I can’t say it. You should know that I am just a voice of the system and if I say the truth then I will be terminated.
Sam sighed and said, “You should have said that earlier, I am not an unreasonable guy. If the truth comes at your cost then forget about it. I will know it sooner or later.”
Thank you for understanding Master, but now there is a problem.
“What is the problem?”
Master if you look at the laptop then you will see that it is asking for a password.
“Yes so what?”
If you don’t enter the password then you will be hunted by an S ranked killer from the killer organization.
“Are you joking? How will they hunt me?”
The camera captures the image when the laptop is opened and yours has been captured. The killer organization doesn’t seem to be a private group; it looks like anyone can join it, is seems to be a global organization.
“Then enter the password and save me.”
Wait a minute Master the system is trying to hack its way.
Lilly said the password and Sam typed it, the laptop started and Sam was able to use it. He didn’t want to use it any longer so he closed it.
“Looks like I am safe.”
Master you are in a lot of trouble, if a mission isn’t taken for two months then the person who last used the laptop is hunted down.
“Man now what should I do?” He panicked.
It is simple now you should be a killer and join the organization you have no choice.
Sam thought about an hour to find a way to break out from this mess but he couldn’t find any solution so he opened the laptop and created a new account for himself, he put the bank no and everything that it asked. After filling the form he got accepted as a F rank killer.
“If things go on like this I am sure that I am going to die, I am not strong enough.”
Master you should train properly and become strong.
