>> That same night...
Astarte sits at the vanity chair, facing the table mirror in front of her inside the chamber. Wearing night gown made of satin fabric dyed in whitish gray, it illuminates on the candelabras surrounding.
Her blonde hair loosens down, sparkling at the flickering flames. Her figure allures down the shadow as it reflects, and her slit shaped eyes gazes passionately at the mirror.
Behind her is Abigor standing. Holding her hair, she takes the comb and gently brushes it.
“This day is so much fun. I can’t believe he reciprocates my feelings.” Astarte shows a smile as she giggled while remembering the happenings this afternoon.
That wasn’t expected; she just wants to be alone with Justine since they’re both having busy with work. Astarte wanted to be with him even for a while and have a talk.
Since the time they met, her feelings swoon drastically. His image alone carved on her mind is enough for her heart to throb fast. Even if they’re far apart, she always has thoughts of him.
“I’m happy for you, milady.” Abigor replied with a smile on her lips. Astarte turns sideways to look at the servant and smiles. “Thanks, Abigor.”
Although, Abigor is happy that her master is happy right now, the doubt that it will turn into something painful rushes on her mind. She knew that Justine told a lie about his feelings to the Queen.
And that’s unforgivable. The last thing Abigor wanted is to get Astarte hurt.
Yet, she can’t just pry on this matter. This is his problem, and he must do something quickly upon it.
“...bigor, Abigor!”
“Huh?”
Astarte’s lips pouted as she faces the stunned servant, who just lost into her own stupor moment. “Geez! I’m asking you now if it’s okay to propose to him. You’re not listening to me right now!”
“Ah... huh? Eh!?” Abigor’s mouth agape out of shocked as she shrieks out from the thoughts of the Queen. That’s quite sudden and a big blow.

“I mean, we are meant for each other. So, asking him to get marry to me is good now, right?”
Her eyes sparkling like a child anticipating onto something wonderful. Astarte let out an enticing grin towards her servant, as Abigor let out a deep sigh.
“Lady Astarte, do you think that’s a little... early?”
“Eh? What do you mean by that?”
“He’s just lying to you and you’re holding onto your false hope!” is what Abigor wanted to say but she holds it off. “I mean what I said. You two just reciprocate each other’s feelings. But that doesn’t mean you need to rush things over.”
With her honest opinion, Abigor deliberates. Astarte’s brows fuzzed together as she heard that reply. “You two should deepen your understanding with each other first. Like, what are the things he and you like, things he and your dislikes. Those matters, milady.”
She seemed didn’t get the point of Abigor as she shows quizzical gaze from the servant. “What I’m telling you is, go out with him first!”
“Go out?” Astarte mumbled.
Abigor nods anticipatingly to the replied of the Queen. “Indeed. Have a bonding with him for the meantime. Let you have some alone time with him. Deepen your feelings for him.”
Seems it’s all new for the Queen, and Abigor expected it. She’s new to this kind of thing, and still naïve. Abigor never had an experience before like this matter as well.
Yet, as her pride of being the trusted servant of the Queen, she must give an advice. And for the sake of that guy tell to her how he truly feels.
“I’m sure this girl will rush everything if I did lose the grasp of hers. She’s hasty to this matter; I know I should be the one who guides her right now.”
Astarte stands up from the chair and goes to her bed and sits. Abigor follows her right away after. “You think, I can go sleep with him?”
That sudden thought twitches Abigor. “What the!? “
“What do you mean by that, milady?” she asked.
“What I mean? Of course, lying down beside him and sleep together. What’s wrong?”
“You can’t do that!?” Abigor suddenly snarls. Astarte jolts out of surprise as she heard the snarling voice of the servant.
“Why? I mean, we love each other. So, sleeping together—”
“You just can’t, okay!” Abigor snarls out as she holds Astarte’s both shoulders. Her face show fury, as Astarte nods in fear from the looks of the servant.
“All right, I—I won’t. I won’t press the matter anymore, so...” her voice uttered in defeat. Abigor let off from her and sits beside.
“There are still other things you shouldn’t do, even if you two are betrothed. Remember that, lady Astarte.”
“Hmmm... Okay.”
Astarte’s face flushes out from that reprimand. Abigor couldn’t help but to sigh and smiles at the Queen while staring.
“You really are a grown up now, milady. I knew this day will come; you’re admiring someone.”
“I never even thought about it, though.” A sudden reply came from the Queen. “I mean, the feeling of being in love with someone... I don’t truly understand it at all.”
Since the time the Queen passed the rite of age to be a full-fledge Demon, the responsibility of handling the Kingdom bestowed upon her. And that will distract her from looking for the King who will rule together.
“However, that dream I had changed everything. That mortal appeared before me, and told me that I am his Queen. For that moment, I knew in my heart that he will be the one for me.”
Her emerald eyes sparkle, as her lips form a gentle and sweet smile. It glimmers as well. Abigor just remain gazing at the Queen while listening.
“... And the time he came and we met, my heart throbs like crazy. I don’t know why, and the red string of fate binds us together. The sensation remains to me, that person appear that day is the man I want to be with for the rest of my life.”
“He is, indeed. Because a true King has this aura that can tame anyone by his presence alone.”
Abigor holds those thoughts in her mind as she nods to the words of the Queen. “To that’s why, I want to prove that I am the only woman who can be by his side.”
“Yeah, and you have my full support, milady.”
Grabbing her hand, Abigor faces Astarte and clenched it tightly. Astarte does the same and smiles at her servant. “Thank you, Abigor.”
“Yes, this is my duty. As her servant, the thing I can do is to trust her. And that man, I also want to believe in him. For this matter, I will watch you two over, and make sure that you two will have a fulfilling love together.”
Like a prayer, Abigor leans her head towards Astarte and closes her eyes. Wishing that those words she conveyed quietly fulfilled soon.
