Chapter 125 -

Hendrix gave Jennifer a number. "At 8:00 am tomorrow, go to Room 1613 and bring the occupant to the hospital.

His request confused Jennifer, and she stared at him in confusion.noveldrama

"Don't let anyone know about this. Do you know the consequences you will face if this gets leaked?" Hendrix's expression remained unchanged, but the intensity in his eyes grew sharper.

Jennifer quickly realized she had misunderstood, and she nodded in response. "Understood."

"Leave," Hendrix said, not bothering to look at her again.

Jennifer quickly exited the room, and the surroundings returned to their usual quiet.

Hendrix didn't think about the situation any further.

But that night, as he lay in bed, he suddenly had a dream.

He dreamt of... a child.

Hendrix didn't have strong feelings toward children. He had always been indifferent to emotions. As a child, he didn't rely on his parents, and his adult life was far from harmonious.

However, he didn't completely reject the idea of having a child.

Perhaps because of deeply ingrained beliefs from his upbringing, he always thought he should have a child one day. Though, he couldn't imagine what it would be like when he became a father.

In the dream, he didn't get to feel this as well, as he only saw a small figure.

Hendrix seemed to have glanced at him before swiftly turning and running ahead. By the time he realized

he should chase after him, the figure had already disappeared

Hendrix opened his eyes.

Daylight had broken.

The dream was so strange that he couldn't help but furrow his brows. It was then that Jennifer called him.

"Mr. Freeman, Room 1613 is empty."

Her words immediately caused a change in Hendrix's expression. "What did you say?"

"I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. I also called the front desk, and they said she checked out and left last night."

Hendrix's lips tightened into a thin line, and he quickly got out of bed.

He didn't wait for Jennifer to say anything. After he hung up, he asked someone to find out where Noelle was. Then, he called Brandon.

"Where is Noelle?" he asked.

Brandon was stunned, and then he laughed. "Good morning to you, too, Mr. Freeman. What do you mean?"

"I don't have time for games," said Hendrix. "Where is Noelle?"

"I don't know."

"Brandon, finding her is just a matter of time for me. If I were you, I'd make an offer now. It would save me time, and you could still gain something from it, right? You really want to protect her secret? That's fine, as long as you're willing to bear the consequences."

"Is Mr. Freeman threatening me?"

"Yes," Hendrix replied plainly.

Brandon paused for a moment before finally responding, "She hasn't left Sintrun, but as for where

exactly... I'm curious, Mr. Freeman, what can you offer me?"

Hendrix sneered. "What do you want?

Brandon chuckled. "I know you don't actually like Maxwell, right?"

Hendrix immediately understood his implication and simply gave a soft hum in response.

"She should be at a hospital," Brandon continued without hesitation. "There are only a few private hospitals in Sintrun. You shouldn't need any further hints."
