Chief Chu watched as He Lan took Yu Lin away then he went into the study room. Chief Chu made sure to tell He Lan that he wanted He Lan to become friends with Yu Lin. He was sure that He Lan wouldn’t disappoint him. He sat down and then pulled out the stone. Chief Chu started to examine Yu Lin’s chi energy through the stone. He was amazed yet confused at how two positive energies could morph together to create a neutral chi energy.
“Father.” he heard a voice from behind him. He slipped the stone into his sleeve and then turned around. There was a man with short red hair, and bright orange eyes staring back at him. Chief Chu broke into a smile.
“Sen Feng!” He exclaimed as he went to hug his son. Chu Sen Feng was the eldest of Chief Chu’s son. “Why do you come back now? It has been five years!” Chief Chu lightly hit Yu Feng’s back.
“I’m sorry father. I’ve been busy trying to look for your daughter-in-law.” Yu Feng laughed. Chief Chu pulled back from Sen Feng and took a good look at him. Truthfully Chief Chu wanted more grandchildren but he didn’t want to rush his sons into getting married.
“Have you found her?” Chief Chu’s face was full of excitement. Sen Feng smirked at his dad.
“Honey, come in and meet my dad!” He said in a sweet voice. A girl walked inside. The girl had long, shiny black hair, big round brown eyes, and milky pale skin. She gave Chief Chu a big bow.
“I, Li Ju Hua, give her greetings to father-in-law.” Her sweet voice rang out. Chief Chu was stunned. Chief Chu had never imagined that Sen Feng would be able to get such a beautiful and elegant wife. Ju Hua looked back up and smiled at Chief Chu showing dimples on her cheeks.
“Wow! You’ve managed to get a beauty Sen Feng!” Chief Chu gave his son a slight punch in the chest while laughing heartily. Sen Feng smiled shyly. Seeing Sen Feng so shy made Ju Hua giggled. Chief Chu let go of Sen Feng and walked up to Ju Hua. He gave her a fatherly smile before pulling her in for a hug.
“Welcome to the family Ju Hua!” He lightly patted her back before pulling away.
“Ju Hua thanks father-in-law.” Ju Hua gave Chief Chu another bow. Chief Chu smiled and then a look of confusion brushed over his face.
“If you two are married why do you call yourself a Li?” Chief Chu asked. Ju Hua’s eyes glanced at Sen Feng before looking back at Chief Chu.
“We haven’t have a formal wedding yet. Sen Feng wanted us to have the wedding in your presence father-in-law.” Ju Hua replied. Chief Chu smiled. If Sen Feng wasn’t in the room then Chief Chu would’ve been shedding tears already. He was touched at his son’s thoughtfulness.
“I see. Come sit down and tell me how you guys met. Tang Tang please get us some refreshments!”
“Yes master.” Tang Tang hurried away.
They all sat down at a wooden table in the study room sipping on tea, and eating honey covered cookies.
“Tell me, where did you guys meet?” Chief Chu was eager to learn all the details. Ju Hua glanced at Sen Feng and then smiled.
“I am originally from the Sk-” before Ju Hua could finish a terrified scream could be heard. Chief Chu stood up.
“What is going on?” Sen Feng asked.
“It’s the kids. Let me go take a look.” Chief Chu leapt towards the garden, with his son and daughter-in-law following slowly behind. Chief Chu knew that He Lan didn’t like Yu Lin’s father, however he didn’t believed that He Lan would do anything bad to Yu Lin.
He reached the garden quickly and his eyes widened at the scene. He Lan was lying on the ground clutching his stomach while coughing as Mei Rong was kneeling next to him screaming his name. Leng Zhuang and Wu Pu stood at the side with their mouths hanging wide open. Yu Lin stood about a meter away from He Lan with a golden bamboo in her hand. With one leap he was next to He Lan. Mei Rong saw Chief Chu and she stopped screaming. Chief Chu hovered his hand over He Lan’s chi center. He Lan’s chi center wasn’t broken, however his internals were slightly damaged. Chief Chu was surprised at who could damaged He Lan like this. Chief Chu knew that his grandson was skilled in swordsmanship.
“Grandpa Chu is Lan Lan ok?” Mei Rong had tears rolling down her face.
“He will be fine.” Chief Chu patted her head before standing back up. He looked at the other three kids. “What has happened here?” His voice roared. Leng Zhuang and Wu Pu closed their mouth and then looked nervously down at the ground. Yu Lin dropped the bamboo stick and went back to pick her pink robes up. Chief Chu breathed out a huge breath of air. “Answer me! What happened here?!” Leng Zhuang’s and Wu Pu’s froze stiff. Yu Lin only stared back at Chief Chu. There was a moment of silence until a small voice spoke up.
“It was Yu Lin Grandpa Chu.” Wu Pu voice creaked.
“That’s right grandpa.” He Lan said in a painful voice. He had stopped coughing however he was still holding onto his stomach. “That beast wanted to spar with me. She was saying that she was a beginner and didn’t know much martial arts, so I was going to go easy on her. Then, she cowardly attacked me when I wasn’t looking.” He Lan rubbed his stomach. Yu Lin’s expression did not change however she scoffed inside. ‘What a brat. If he doesn’t get put into his place he is growing to grow up with trouble in his future.’ She thought. A memory flashed through her head.

Hu Die was eating alone in a famous restaurant of Sky Continent. She wore a long black cape, with the hood covering her face. The restaurant was bustling with people as they chatter on about their life. She was minding her own business when the front door of the restaurant suddenly got kicked down. Everyone stopped eating as they looked to see who was there. Hu Die did not care as she continued to eat her food.
“Li Hu Die! Come out right now if you still want to live!” An old voice echoed through the restaurant.
“Li Hu Die? Li Hu Die is in the restaurant? That Li Hu Die?” People started to whisper. “I heard that she reached Silver rank within two years, and now she is already a Gold rank.” “Impossible. I heard that she was only 14 years old. How can a 14 year old accomplish that?” The people in the restaurant kept chattering. Hu Die finished her food and gently set down her chopsticks.
“Old man Chen, why are you disturbing so many customers?” She said as she stood up. People turn to look at her.
“What? I am here to look for that despicable Li Hu Die, if you are not her then shut up and sit back down!” Chen yelled. Hu Die smirked and then pulled down her hood.
“You are talking to her.” She gave Chen a smirk. All the men in the restaurant dropped their jaw at Hu Die’s beauty. They couldn’t believe that at only the age of 14 she was already so beautiful with her long, shiny, silky black hair, dark brown eyes, and smooth pale skin. Chen clenched his fist in anger.
“You despicable human being! How dare you beat my grandson up until he couldn’t walk anymore?! Who do you think you are?” Chen screamed. Hu Die let out a laugh.

“Your grandson deserved the beating. Who told him to come and mess with me? I already warned him beforehand not to touch me, yet he came and casually put his hand on my shoulder.”
“Just because he put his hand on your shoulder you beat him up with six months worth of injuries?”
“Of course. How dare a lowly, dirty noble like your son touch someone like me. He deserved it.” Hu Die let out another laugh. Hu Die knew that Chen wouldn’t be able to touch her, after all he was only a Silver ranked old man who was too lazy in his youth to actually train.
“You wench. If I don’t get revenge on you today I won’t be able to call myself a Chen anymore.” The old man hissed. Hu Die scoffed.
“You are going to try to hurt me? Come at me then old man!” Hu Die unsheathed her iron sword.
“Hah! I am not crazy enough to duel you myself. Hey come in!” Chen smiled evilly. A man wearing all black clothes walked in. He had yellow hair with purple eyes and smiled when he saw Hu Die. Hu Die stopped smiling, and pointed her sword at the man. From the man’s presence alone Hu Die could feel he was a Gold rank just like her. She knew she must not let her guard down.
The man smiled and then ran towards her at a terrifying speed. Hu Die widened her eyes and then swung her sword down. The man ducked to dodge it and then tried to uppercut Hu Die. Hu Die backed away barely dodging his uppercut, and then stretched her leg to kick him. The man flew and slammed down on a table. People screamed as they backed away from the two. The man stood back up.
“Interesting. It looks like you are as strong as they say.” The man smirked. Hu Die pointed her sword back at the man.
“Hmph. Are you scared now?” She smiled as if she had already achieved victory. The man let out a laugh.
“Scared? Of a little girl like you? You must be joking me.” The man put his fists up. Hu Die’s smile disappeared and she glared at the man.
“You won’t be laughing after you get beat up by this little girl.” Hu Die rushed at him swinging her sword. Her moves were elegant and smooth, however each strike was full of power. The man dodged her moves easily. Hu Die clenched her teeth. ‘Let me show him who is the boss here,’ Hu Die thought. ‘taste this, the 8th form of the Li Clan’s Sword Fighting Martial Arts!’ Hu Die wrapped her sword in chi energy and then charged at the man.
She slashed at the man in the shape of an X. The man barely dodged each strike. Hu Die then lifted her leg, turning her body around. The man took a step backwards. Seeing the man a distance away from her, she pulled her sword back to her chest. She then thrust her sword at the man releasing all her chi energy at the tip of the sword. The man flew and slammed on top of a table breaking it.. All the people watching gaped at the scene of Hu Die’s powerful move. Hu Die let out a smile thinking she had won. She was about to sheathe her sword when the man on the ground suddenly disappeared. Before she could processed the situation the man had shown up with his face right next to hers.
“I win.” He whispered in her ear. Hu Die then felt pain at her abdomen. She could feel the man’s chi energy enter her chi center, shattering it. ‘Damn, this man is actually a Master rank.’ She swore in her head. She could tell from his chi energy. Hu Die puked out blood before flying back, slamming into the restaurant's wall.
“Ahh!” She screamed out. The last thing she saw before blacking out was the man’s cold victorious smile.

Yu Lin knew that at that time she was too cocky, thinking that she was the most powerful person. Because of her cockiness, she brought trouble to herself. She was never able to reach the martial arts that she did after her chi center broke. Yu Lin knew that if He Lan didn’t learn the importance of humbleness, he was going to meet trouble sooner or later.
Chief Chu furrowed his eyebrows. He did not believe that Yu Lin, who was only three years old could do so much harm to He Lan. The first reason was because she was only three years old. Sure she was half elf and troll, and was already the same size as He Lan but she wouldn’t have been able to learn any martial arts to retaliate. The second reason was because Chief Chu had a feeling that Yu Lin was not an unreasonable child. He felt that Yu Lin wouldn’t have attacked He Lan without a reason. Even earlier, she wasn’t the one who attacked He Lan.
“Is this true Yu Lin?” He asked Yu Lin calmly. He Lan widened his eyes. He thought that his grandpa would be on his side no matter what.
“It is true that He Lan and I did spar, however I did not attack him cowardly. Instead He Lan was the coward here.” Yu Lin responded, her expression did not change. Chief Chu for some reason felt that Yu Lin was mentally older than how she appeared. Usually when kids her age gets accused of something, whether it be the truth or not, they would panic and start to refuse everything. He Lan clenched his teeth.
“What are you saying you beast?! You attacked me unf-” He Lan began to cough again from screaming.
“I attacked you unfairly? Who was the one who came at me with an iron sword?” Yu Lin coldly said. Chief Chu’s eyebrows rose and He Lan froze.
“What?” Chief Chu’s voice was as cold as ice.
“I am saying that your grandson came at me with an iron sword Chief Chu.” Yu Lin looked into Chief Chu’s eyes. She didn’t call him grandpa this time because she wanted to see what he would do as a Chief. Chief Chu turned around to look at He Lan.
“Chu He Lan, is what Yu Li saying true?” Chief Chu looked down at He Lan, his stature was intimidating.
“I… she…” He Lan couldn’t find any words to say.
“He Lan!” Chief Chu’s voice roared scaring all the four kids, only Yu Lin stood still. The four kids had goosebumps running up and down their bodies. He Lan looked away.
“Yes.” He said in a small voice.
“What? I didn’t hear you! Say it louder!”
“Yes! I fought her with an iron sword. That beast would’ve been fine anyways. I did nothing wrong! Waaah!” He Lan started bawling. Yu Lin eyes widen in shock. Due to his attitude and behavior Yu Lin forgot that he was only a little bit older than her. The other three kids looked at He Lan in shock. They have never seen He Lan cry before. Chief Chu could only sigh and shake his head.
“What is going on? How come my nephew is crying?” A deep voice rang out. Yu Lin turned to look to Sen Feng. ‘Chief Chu’s son?’ She thought to herself. Soon after another girl reached Sen Feng, and grabbed his arm. ‘His wife?’ Yu Lin looked uninterested she turned her attention back to the crying He Lan.
“What is going on?” The girl’s sweet voice rang out. Yu Lin’s eyebrows widen. She knew she had heard this voice before. She turned to look back at the girl. Her mouth dropped slightly when she saw the girl’s face.
“Li Ju Hua.” She quietly breathed. ‘What are you doing here?’
