Zach ran down the hall in the direction of the front doors. As he turned the corner sharply he ran into someone. Both Zach and the person he ran into fell to the ground.
“I’m terribly sorry. I was not looking where I was going. Here let me help you up.” Zach said as he stood up. He held his hand out, but when Zach looked down he froze. It was the guy from the caravan. The one that was riding the horse.
“No worries, it is understandable. Thank you.” The guy said, grasping Zach’s hand. pulling himself up the guy looks at Zach.
“Aren’t you the guy that dove face first into the corner of that truck?” The guy asks.

Zach turned and ran out of the Academy’s front doors. Bennet and the two people that were cleaning up trash were nowhere to be seen. Zach looked at the sky and held up three fingers between the sun and the horizon. 45 minutes till sunset. The group had left without him. It was dark when he arrived at his shack. Someone was sitting beside his door. Mr. Avner looked up at Zach.
