"Cultivation in my opinion is the process of trying to improve the Self. Many will talk that to Cultivate is to go against the Heavens, but to be honest, if the Heavens are against their cultivation, then they have done something wrong." Tapping her chin with a well manicured finger, the red woman hummed in contemplation. "There are many Paths of Cultivation out there in the world, and I believe that there is the right Path to anyone, but the chance of finding the right Path is simply so abysmally small that people just take the easiest and more readily available Paths that they should not complain when the Heavens send down Tribulations as punishments, it's their fault"

The Egg felt that if he could he would have sweat dropped at that, even if he was not sure if a Dragon was capable of sweat dropping.

He ignored another set of information that only gave him confusion and kept all his attention on his interlocutor.

"There are many Cultivations Systems out there in the Myriad Worlds, but they can mainly be divided in four main Paths in their priorities. The first and most common is the Path of Energy. Most commonly found in the Qi Refiner Cultivation System, it uses mainly Yuan Qi to improve a cultivator's Spiritual Essence in various forms so that they ultimately create in their bodies a complete self containing and self perpetuating Energy Network. Other Energy types are available as well, such as Demonic Qi, Star Essence, Vital Vigor or Ghost Aura. The second most common Path is the Path of the Body. This Path is where cultivator tries to qualitatively change their Life Force by improving their bodies. Most that takes this Path simply have no natural affinity towards it, so they are forced to utilize outside resources to improving themselves, and the best way to do so is in competing with others, that's why most cultivators in the Path of the Body become combat experts, but many also become meatheads"

The red woman began pacing the same three feet as her voice took on a lecturing tone.

"The Third Path is the Path of Treasure. This Path is the first and only external cultivation Path that is accepted by the common Righteous Orthodoxies in the Myriad Worlds, even if most of those that takes on the Path of Treasure do so as a secondary Path. The Path of Treasure works by tying a cultivator's True Essence with a Treasure capable of Growth, where the growth of the Treasure elevates a cultivators Realm, but a cultivator's ascension also influences the Treasure's growth. The most common Treasure Cultivators are Sword Immortals and Alchemists. The final Path is the Path of the Soul."

The red woman stopped pacing and turned back towards the Nameless Egg and took on a serious mien, causing the Egg to be taken aback for a moment.

"The Path of the Soul is the most dangerous and the hardest to be successful in. It's also the Path that every cultivator must walk to reach Ascension. It's Path is also divided in three sub Paths. The first is Enlightenment, where the Soul is improved by the cultivator's comprehension of the Dao, something that every cultivator seeks through their journey as long as they are not complete morons. The second is Nurturing, where many kinds of Energies are used to simply strengthen the Soul, but it is mostly an uncontrollable and undirected method, normally limited by the Soul's natural disposition and innate limits, even if they can be expanded by other Paths of Cultivation. The third and last one is the Tempering Path, where the Soul is deliberately damaged so that it then can be healed stronger after. You Little Egg, seems to have been exposed to the Soul Tempering Path by Long Zhuo's scheme and entered the Soul Nurturing Path instinctively in an attempt to survive. Congratulations!"
