Chapter 1.3

Chapter 1.3

As the steps came closer and closer, the Nameless Egg became more and more worried about what would happen to him.

A small woman with vivid blood-colored hair and shining eyes the color of rubies wearing a crimson dress entered a cave with an impassive expression.

After looking around the Cave and barely sparing a glance at the corpse of his possible parent, the red themed woman took a small hop the still propelled her body beyond the dozen meters tall Dragon body in her way and she approached the small Egg.

The small Egg became apprehensive.

He was not sure of what would happen to him, and he had no memories to help him interpret his circumstances, but he was sure that there was no way he was willing of become someone's dinner, and even less so someone's pet.

The red woman stopped just a couple of paces from the Egg, that came just up to her waist in size, and a small soft smile took her lips.

"Don't worry Little Egg, you are safe now, I made sure of it"

The Nameless Egg was stunned, then he became indignant.

'What the hell woman! You just killed my mother and now you say you made me safe?! No matter what you say I will not be your pet or dinner! So go away!'

The red woman's eyes immediately widened and and her whole body froze up.

The seconds ticked by, the red woman frozen and the Egg silently fuming.

Then the red woman burst out laughing, the Cave itself seemed to vibrate with each breath of hers as she expressed her mirth.

The Egg watched in growing confusion as this mysterious woman laughed, no longer sure of things.

The red woman twisted around and appeared to flicker to the side of the Dragon's corpse.

"You heard that, you bastard?! The Egg you stole considers you his Mother! Ha! Once the others in the clan learn of this you will become nothing more than a bad joke! Ha!"

The Nameless Egg was stunned.

And confused.

It seemed that he was an eggnapping victim.

Maybe.

So much for him working out what was happening.
