Chapter 1.4
The red woman took a few moments to control herself, even so her smile was a little bit more real as she turned back to approach the Nameless Egg once more.
"So, Little Egg, it seems you can already communicate. That's weird. You are not even close to hatching." One pale hand stretched forwards and a finger lightly tapped the shell gently. "I was worried that by the time I found the bastard Long Zhuo that you may have been harmed, but you appear more than healthy. Tell me Little Egg, What do you know, and why, by the tombs of our ancestors, did you think he was your mother" the red woman let a small chuckle leave her lips.
The Nameless Egg was embarrassed.
It seemed he did not even know how to tell a male Dragon from a female one.
Well, no biggie. He would learn in time.
As long as this dangerous woman in front of him was in fact someone that would help him.
After a moment of trying to formulate what he wished to convey to her, he tried to again communicate with her, something that seemed to come naturally to him.
"Some type of pressure on your soul you say?"
The red woman hummed and looked around the Cave. With a wave of her hands the dancing lights seemed to coalesce into visible patterns, with visible script suddenly dimly shining on the Cave's walls.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Well, no one was sure of Long Zhuo's plan when he stole you, but it seems he was trying to erase your soul and taking over your body, probably to escape the Clan's pursuit of him due to his many crimes. But it seems that he fell down to Karma in the end. To do such a thing he was forced to be gentle in the beginning, so that your body would not reject his own soul later on, but it appears that you yourself was able to utilize Soul Cultivation, probably instinctively, giving me enough time to find his trail and deal with him."
The Egg felt that if he had a body to express himself with he would have done many things.
Shake with fear. Slump with relief. Sigh with exasperation.
But what was the most important to him was clearing up the confusion in his mind.
Because with each passing moment, he became more and more frustrated by being constantly confused, not knowing even the most basic things about himself and the world.
The Egg had some idea of what she meant when she mentioned Cultivation, but the knowledge deep in his mind was fragmented and jumbled when it came to such a topic, where several different basic overviews of Cultivation existed, and even then he was not sure if any of it was even true.
'Soul Cultivation? What is that?'
The red woman that was looking with wonder at the Egg had her jaw drop and her eyes widen once more.
"Wait a second, you did not awake your innate memories yet?" She asked, astonished.
'If I had memories I would not have asked!' the Egg rebutted with frustration.
With a huff, the red women once more tapped the Egg, this time the tone was chastising. "No cheek from you Little Egg. I don't know why you are so impolite. But sure, let me explain what Cultivation is to you"
The Egg redoubled his attention on the red woman in front of him.
