Chapter 55 take a walk now?

"Then we talked about Terra, the faery of earth.

She is a really important faery! Wait I did not mean 'important' as you know...

And all the faeries are important but she is IMPORTANT I mean... Fate gave her permission to interact with the mortals! Fate! The one that speaks only with Mother talked with our sister!

Our dear Terra, the faery of earth loves any mortal that walks over the earth or well lives within... She does not want them to die so... She helps them gain their Essence or evolve to another species that is better suited to survive.

There is a rule made by Mother that we should not meddle with mortals too much because it could modify and destroy a story. A story that Fate might want to hear about! But with my sister work she might destroy one or two stories and at the same time make so many more! She is special like that!

Not that kind of 'special' ... Well... Nevermind.

She is known to mortals and she shows herself a lot too! But at the same time she only wears a single name, that means that every mortal see her as Terra.

That is really hard to do!"

-Bee May, the faery of knowledge

"The most loved faery by mortals! Well... there is the faery of love... And then..."

"One of the most loved faery by mortals!"

So... Sidon might have made a mistake, one of the worst mistakes he could have made too. When he makes a mistake usually, he can solve it with his spear or with his fists, maybe with a kick... That happens rarely, he likes both his feet on the ground. The worst mistake is the one that cannot be solved any way, the second worst is the one that NEEDS to be solved with words. Sidon dislikes words, when people start talking there is no end. Everyone thinks what he is saing is worth something and time is wasted.

When the third princess came in and he left the study room. He thought that if he walked towards the exit of the fort the villagers, his people, would notice him and spread the word. The First Hunter was right, people were talking about him all right. The problem was that an unknown man inside a fort manned by soldiers captured the wrong kind of attention and he was an unknown lost man inside a fort manned by soldiers. The soldiers stopped and looked at him, then pointed at him, then whispered to each others while following him, when they started to unsheat their weapons he finally found a villager. With a happy reunion and much needed information he made an hasty escape. When he got outside the walls he was being followed by a contingent of soldiers and villagers.

What he found was a group of soldiers and a group of hunters, his hunters, that were in the middle of a square off, then he found the moss boar that they left when they came in, it was still near the wall of the fort. In the shade he saw his son, with his hands still covering his ears, Mira and the three droppers, the ingrates left without picking him up.

"Is that Sidon?" "He's too young!" "He sure looks like him!" "He's so dreamy!" "Is that the First Hunter?" "Look at all those muscles!" "Where are his scars?" "What happened to his spear?" "I would so shine his spear!"

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Sidon could hear the villagers behind him talk. "Did I make things worse?" He asked Mira.

She facepalmed and nodded.

"Could you give me a little help?"

"I'm the teacher, not your servant."

"You can hit them, but do not kill them. Please?"

Mira grinned, she walked towards the about to be explosive situation.

"Hey you guys! Stop with the pissing contest and get it back into your pants! There are women here now!"

While she walked she rolled her shoulders and neck, made some satisfying popping sounds and just readied herself for a fight.

"Uh, what?"

"Wrong answer!" She smiled ferociously.

What happened next was a flurry of movement, she danced in the middle of the two groups and sent people flying. People that then fell to the ground in separated piles, divided by faction and mostly healthy. For the soldiers and the hunters they felt like they could not hit her at all, their movement were strangely affected, their body could not perform as they usually would, they could not move as their brain commanded, this brought even more confusion and in this chaos Mira thrived. From the outside, it looked like Mira was dancing in the middle of the two faction and the fighters where being herded towards her, then thrown up in the air and then away from the fight. They looked sluggish, it looked as if every movement was coordinated by the unassuming woman. For the spectators it was as if a kid was playing with puppets on strings, it was an eerily beautiful dance. When she was done, she smiled hungrily towards Sidon and mock bowed. The dance ended with a chorus of ows and ouchs.

The First Hunter clapped his hands once, when the people that were still conscious focused on him he spoke.

"I am the First Hunter, I'm back. I need to take a walk now, towards the mountains. I need to explain the people that sent those men to destroy our home, our village! That they made a mistake, a mistake that needs to be fixed! After I'm done with them the soldiers will leave this place and go to the mountains, the fort will be our new village! So, who will join me in this walk?"

"No one will! I will not let them!" Richard the head scout said, "you look strong but young, I won't let your enthusiasm kill people of Arthus."

"No one will die on my walk, I will protect them."

"Ok, so... How far are the mines? Where will you stop to sleep? Can you light fires on the way? What will you and anyone that follows you eat? Will there be danger? Scouts? Soldiers? Traps? Animals? I will not let anyone leave if you do not know the answers to these questions."

Clapping resounded from the fort. Thaddeus, the third princess and Fianna came out from the fort, Thaddeus was the one that clapped. The third princess and Fianna were chatting with each other and they had their hair braided in the same style too.

"You are right Dick! Sidon is a strong fighter but he's not good with logistics, so you will guide him. He and everyone that wants to follow him will leave in three days, be ready by then."

"I'll join you guys!" Said the third princess.

"Princess, you are needed here, to guide us."

"Mmh, fine but will they be enough?"

Thaddeus did not answer and continued to walk, the princess followed the old man. When they were back to the study he spoke.

"Do you think that you can beat an army while alone?"

"Well... Not like this, if I get the permission to unleash my sunmetal montante then yes. I could use my hardwood sword as a shield and with the montante I could melt armor and flesh alike. Then it would be my stamina versus the morale of the enemy and I'm pretty confident on my training!"

"So you have your answer, you said that Sidon is stronger than you."

"I said he threw me once, I never said he's stronger than me! We need to fight so I can show him who's stronger!" The princess pouted.
