"While the Angel's mind is more delicate with its implementation inside the newborn host, the Demon's body is everything but. Once eaten it will be remade, the skin will be made of solidified Demonic Energy, inside the body will have nothing but Demonic energy and a single Demonic Heart. The Demonic Heart is really important, it will make up for all the organs a normal living being should have and, for every single one of its beats it will make more Demonic Energy."

"Demons aren't scary, they just need some loving!"
Not so Little Wolf did something wrong, and was punished for it, it was only fair. He actually did not mind being locked up at home, Little Wolf did not notice while his wild side instinct were present but... his growth was a problem.
Not for the village or the villagers, they would love him whatever he did... It might take some time to convince them but, they would love him in the end, like they did before.
No, the problem was his growth itself, he was not small anymore, he grew up a lot and fast. Normal people grow up so slowly they do not notice the changes and get used to their growing body a little at a time. Now he was big but his body and his mind still tried to move like his old small self.
So Little Wolf spent his time at home training, at first simple things like moving his body around to gauge his new range of motions. Then spear training, now that he was taller his spear style needed to follow his growth. He could not slip past the eye view of the adversary but, he could lunge farther away now, with some sharp sweeps and some lunges that used various grip positions to confuse the enemy of his actual range, he could actually be an even more effective threat than the underestimated old little self.
When he did not train his time at home was a lot less fun. While his father, Sidon took what happened as kid being kids and experimenting. A kid would try things, fail or succeed did not matter, the kid would learn from it. It was the parent job to make sure the child was safe while he or she did its own testing. He was still worried, if Brielle did not stop him, he would have braved the forest and the strange happenings alone. If that meant bringing his son back home. Now that Little Wolf was back inside the village, the First Hunter was relieved that everything was back to normal.
His mother on the other side, was anything but over. Fianna worked hard to be the best caretaker there is inside the village. She watched over the kids of the villagers, they trusted her with their most prized possession. Something she could never have on her own and she thought she was great at it. Now she had a child on her own, he was a young man now but, it did not change the fact that she grew him up and taught him the same values and rules that she taught all the other kids in the village. Even if he was a little different, being so reckless and leave the safety of the village when something fishy was going on in the forest. It was not something she would have expected his son to do, even if apparently Annabelle asked him to bring her outside. She taught the childrens how to be safe, two of them doing something so dangerous was not something she would let go, it would set a bad example. During the day she would teach the children a little more strictly than what she usually did before, when she came back home... Fianna asked her son questions, tried to find how he thought, find why he did what he did and tried to correct any mistake in his way of thinking.
Annabelle was punished too but, in a more subtle way. She could not meet Little Wolf anymore and she had always someone around to keep tabs on her. Inside the caretakers longhouse her mother was always around her. Even when she could go and meet with her new fisherman friend, Mary would refuse to stay close to her daughter. When she watched over the kids, Fianna was keeping an eye on her even more than on the children. But the worse of them all was Stria, she was grateful for the herbs but, she would never admit it. Instead she was furious that two young ones would risk their lives for something as stupid as easing the pain of some elderly that would die anyways. At the start Stria did not want to see Annabelle anymore, if teaching her made her feel like doing something so stupid and dangerous she was better off as a children caretaker and not a healer caretaker. But then the curse acted up again, it had rained during the night, the grass was wet and Annabelle was cautioning the kids of the slippery ground, a child slipped near her and she dived to cushion his fall. Annabelle did save the child from maybe a nasty bruise but she fell head first on a rock that was hidden by the grass and she fell unconscious. After that event Stria decided that keeping Annabelle close to her, teaching her the healing arts. And personally keeping an eye on the clumsy, dangerously unlucky young woman was better than leaving her alone. She did not make it any easier tho, Stria was even more grumpy than usual and made sure that Annabelle did not make a single mistake, if she did and she did... Stria would make her notice the mistake then grill her on what happened, why it happened and how to make sure it would not happen ever again.

The heat came and went, Fianna and Mary met by the river, after their duty was over the two friends had the habit to go to the river, put their sore feet on the shooting cold water and just talk for a while.
"Are you keeping an eye on Little Wolf?"
Asked Mary.
"Yeah, he did not go out once in all this time. I'm starting to think he does not care too much about the outside. He does like going around and seeing new things but, for now he's focusing on his spear training and with carving hardwood for my husband. Why?"
Said Fianna.
"Annabelle is having dreams about him. Those kind of dreams."
Mary sighed.
"She is almost sixteen snows old, she might be a late bloomer, both you and me were married already at her age."
Fianna smiled.
"Yeah, you are right, but I think it's the caretaker's job's fault. She saw the other kids grow and they grew together; they feel more like brothers and sisters than possible husbands and wives."
Said Mary.
"The village never had problem having more children, you can be at ease for that."
Fianna smiled again.
"Until their escape, Annabelle saw your son as a friend and as a child. Now he's grown up all at once, I thought keeping them away would make her see that there are other people around her. I think the not seeing him makes my daughter think even more often about Little Wolf than when he was around."
Sighed Mary, again.
"Hey, what's wrong with my son? He's such a sweet kid and Annabelle has good insight, he cares for her too, they will be fine."
Said Fianna.
"I know they will be fine, Its just... I would like if Annabelle kept her eyes open for others too, you know?"
Said Mary.
"Why would she need to? I had eyes only for my Sidon and we ended up fine."
Said Fianna now a little peeved.
"Oh, I did not mean anything by that, I just wanted to see Annabelle try to be with someone else too, someone-"
"Someone normal?"
Interrupted Fianna.
"My Little Wolf might not be like the rest of us, that's pretty obvious. But, Sidon, Little Wolf and me are similar, we can understand each others. Only Robert, Brielle, Annabelle, Todd, Micah, you, Sidon and me know his secret. Little Wolf fought so hard to be accepted for who he is by the village. His predatory instinct might be scary for you, but they help him be a better person. Sidon, Little Wolf and I can focus on a single objective, and do everything we can to complete it, we will not waver, we will not stop, we will do what we need to do to get what we want. That's why we are the best, we always give it our all. If my son fancies your daughter you should be honored. He will cherish her, never leave her side, protect her againist everyone and everything. My Sidon does this for me every day even when I could not have a child of my own, even when there were other women that could carry his legacy he stayed with me. He would never do anything to cause me harm, Little Wolf is the same, we grew him that way. You should let your daughter decide who she is gonna spend her life with."
Fianna got up and left, she had to get home and spend some time with her family.
