Chapter 001 - Distorted baby senses

*Ding! >>You Have Been Born!<<

Fuck. God this headache. I whimpered in pain as I squirmed, my unresponsive body twisting in the arms of whoever was holding me. Bloody hell I can’t even feel my fingers and toes! Complaining to whatever god existed I struggled to open my eyes and at least look at my surroundings. Jumbled noises echoed in my ears, murky and submerged as I struggled to make sense of the heavy world around me.

Bloody fingers! What the hell happened? Maybe I turned into a vegetable state? No, body is now far too small for that. Someone's gigantic fingers stroked my head as I was held in the crook of a soft arm. Definitely a baby… Fuck. Human? Maybe. I kind of hope I’m something interesting like a beautiful elf. Right! Am I male or female? I can’t even feel my crotch due to this damn underdeveloped body. Hope I’m not a goblin, though growing fast would be nice.

Ah! Right I died… somehow. Um… Murdered? Raped to death? Either are plausible but I can’t seem to remember well. And stop rubbing your damn stubby face on me father-being! Pushing my arms out I scream in indignation, desperately trying to get the spiky cheek away from face and failing miserably.

Someone pulled me away from spike-face, but all I could see was a blurry bunch of polygons vaguely resembling someone's tan face. At least I determined it’s not green, so goblin likelihood is decreased. Whoever it was handled me very gently, caressing my head softly and swaying side to side. Distorted yet calming humming soothed my anger and slowly I slipped off to sleep.

Sleeping, waking, feeding from my mother’s large breasts, screaming, getting my diaper changed, then sleeping once again makes up my routine. Sometimes I awake at night, and have to wake my parents guiltily as I suffer the horror of poop sliding between my legs. Othertimes I simply listen to my mother sing before falling asleep.

I have been >Reincarnated<. Though my vision is still a kaleidoscope of blurry polygons and I can’t feel my body. But besides that I am fine! Perfectly okay~ Tired alot though. Also my temper seems to be rather bad, even for a baby. Hopefully it wears off as I grow older, but I am not looking forward to childhood. Especially if I have to play with other kids. Children are evil, selfish, arrogant, back-stabbing little bastards. Sure their innocent but that’s because they don’t know guilt. Even I was a horrible child in my previous life, the memories make me balch at how evil I was. Chuunibyou was the least of my problems.

At least I have about a dozen years before that starts.

For now I will enjoy my ‘peaceful’ baby life and try to get over the shame of sucking my mother’s nipples and shitting my pants. I mean bloody hell! She’s a grown woman! I know it’s not in a romantic sense but I feel bad! It’s like cheating on a whim!

*puahhh… I don’t even understand the language yet…

Recently I’ve found out something peculiar; specifically, I have a status window.

Unfortunately I don’t have any spirit companions yet, but the fact I can get them in the future caused excitement to boil in my tiny gut. However more importantly was that this window was like one of the game’s I designed in my previous life as a trial!

I made this! How dare someone steal my game system without asking! Not to mention use it for a whole world!? At least notify me first!

Besides that I curiously noted my race, a mix between a caitsyth and elf, and after much struggling managed to at least confirm I have a fuzzy set of ears on top of my head. A few ‘days’ later and I realized I had a tail growing from my rear due to Mother affectionately stroking it.

A few days of straining my senses in order to actually understand things around me coherently I started to be able to make out sounds, slowly starting to piece the jumbled language together.

*Ding! >>Proficiency gained: Language Comprehension [B(2%)]<<

Grinning I continued my work of collecting information, and a few months afterwards I reached level P, or proficient in Language Comprehension. Proudly I was able to understand the meaning behind most words of the language, and could fully understand conversations. My vision also improved to the point where I could see a few meters ahead of me. My mother is a beautiful tan elf with long straight black hair, sharp yet gentle features, loving almond eyes and a gently upward hooked nose.

My father on the other hand is a large tabby caitsyth enforced with bulging muscles capable of tearing steel. His face is more of a cat’s than a human’s, hence the field of spikes when I was first born. He also towers over Mother by a good couple heads, I swear the tabby must have the blood of tigers! His furry hands are adorned with large, fearsome claws. Whenever he grins his sharp fangs glint in the sunlight. The fact he often carries around a katana as tall as him doesn’t help!

However I have amusedly discovered he’s a big softy, often grinning like an idiot whenever he gets to hold me, often purring me to sleep when Mother isn’t singing, making sure not to poke me with his claws, even cleaning my head with his rough tongue.

Ah~ Being loved is the best~ I often find myself smiling and laughing in this new world, even as a baby, simply grinning happily as I interact with my parents.

Slowly, time passed us by...
