Chapter 30: The Happiest Marriages

Chapter 30: The Happiest Marriages

In the Crown Kingdom in the Peace Province in the Jasmine City, Yueliang Jian has vanquished Zixin Quon and restored the throne of the Chinese Empire. He has also successfully united the Chinese Empire under his rule. Now, the Chinese nation will live in peace and tranquility after the long conflict and battle between Yueliang and Zixin. Today is the Imperial Inauguration Ceremony in which Yueliang will be officially announced as the new Emperor of the Chinese Empire. Yueliang and Taiyang dressed formally for the occasion and they invited their closest friends (Junjie Song, Liling Heng, Mei Shun and Mohammad Azzumurrud), the kings and queens of the five kingdoms, the loyal ministers and the army leaders to attend this glorious ceremony. There will be a fine dinner banquet to celebrate this unique event in the history of the Chinese Empire. Before the dinner banquet, Yueliang delivered a majestic sermon in which he enumerated the general directions of his politics during the new era of his leadership of the Chinese nation.

Yueliang's Inauguration Sermon

“In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the One and Only True God, my Creator, the Creator of humankind and the Creator of everything. Peace be upon all the prophets and messengers of Allah. Peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, the final Prophet and Messenger of Allah who was sent with the message of Islam to all mankind. Dear respected Chinese citizens, today is a special occasion for the Chinese Empire. Today is the inauguration of the new Chinese Emperor. You have chosen me as the new Chinese Emperor and you have put your trust in me as your new leader. Being the Chinese Emperor is the ultimate honor and privilege one can get in the Chinese Empire. I want to thank you deeply for your trust and for choosing me for this glorious position. Being the Chinese Emperor is not only an honor but also a great responsibility that I take seriously. I will do my best to bring justice, welfare, prosperity and development to the Chinese nation. Without your help and support, I would not be able to reach where I am today. I was the Crown Prince of the Chinese Empire according the Chinese Imperial Constitution but since Zixin Quon usurped the throne by his evil coup, I had to fight with my fellow Chinese soldiers in order to vanquish Zixin and restore the throne from his grip. Together, we spent so much of our blood, money and effort to defeat Zixin and his soldiers and set things right after Zixin and his soldiers brought chaos and calamities to the Chinese people by their devious policies. At the end, Allah made us victorious and we could restore justice and bring peace to the Chinese nation.

So many noble innocent people have lost their lives as a result of the unjust coup of Zixin. This list includes, but is not limited to: my father, Emperor Wei Jian and my mother, Empress Fang Huan; my uncles, Li Jian, Jun Jian, Laquan Jian and Shen Jian; my aunts, Mu Shan, Min Hui, Zhi Ru and Yun Xing; my cousins, Qiu, Xue, Shan, Jiao, Lin, Liu, Yi, Xiang, Kun, Lian, Ting, Yong and Zan; the family of Junjie Song [Yueliang mentioned all their names]; the two officers from the Ministry of Intelligence, Delun Fengge and Qingling Mingyu who were killed while defending my uncles, Li Jian and Laquan Jian and their families; Tai Wang and Shuang Yan, the king and the queen of the Ruby Kingdom and Bai Chin and Mu Jie, the king and the queen of the Star Kingdom; and Wesheng Zihao, the Imperial Minister of Finance. I cannot forget to mention all the brave soldiers who were killed as a result of the coup.

In this magnificent occasion, I must thank certain people by name in order to show my great appreciation for them. First and foremost, I want to thank my sister, Taiyang Jian, for helping and supporting me during all the hardships that we went through together. When I was extremely heartbroken, Taiyang would soothe my pain by her moving words that infused hope in my heart and raised my morale tremendously. I want to thank Junjie Song, the Imperial Minister of Intelligence, for accompanying me throughout my journey and doing his best to protect me and my sister, Taiyang, from all dangers. I also want to thank Yingjie Zhuang, the Deputy Imperial Minister of Intelligence, who communicated with us professionally and conveyed for us the significant news about Zixin and his moves. I also want to thank our spy from the Ministry of Intelligence, Lijuan Shanyuan, for sharing with us grave secrets and news about Zixin that helped us greatly in defeating Zixin and his army. I want to thank everyone from the Ministry of Intelligence who helped us in achieving our noble victory. In addition, I want to thank, Liqin Bowen, who has hosted us in his house in the Rainbow City throughout the crisis. He has been very generous, caring for and protective of us. I cannot forget to thank my sweetheart, Liling Heng, and her friend, Mei Shun, for helping us nullify the magic of Zixin and for their patience with the great torture of Zixin for the sake of our glorious cause. I also thank our Syrian guest, Mohammad Azzumurrud, for teaching us about Islam, the Arabic and Islamic civilization and the Islamic Incantation by which we could completely nullify the magic of Zixin. I am also grateful to Omar Almarjan, the cousin of Mohammad Azzumurrud, for introducing us to Mohammad Azzumurrud. I cannot forget to thank the three kings and queens of the Crown, Cloud and Pearl kingdoms who suffered from Zixin's coup and went through similar hardships as us. Thank you so much King Lei Keung and Queen Shui Lim, King Qiang Sheng and Queen Ya Peng and King Dong Hai and Queen Lan He for all what you have done to serve our noble cause and make us the victor in our war against Zixin. I also want to thank the two temporary kings and queens of the Ruby and Star kingdoms that I appointed during our fierce war with Zixin. Thank you so much King Tuxuan Haoran and Queen Liqiu Mingxia and King Yuhang Yichen and Queen Lihua Suyin for all your great effort to keep peace in the Ruby and Star kingdoms during these difficult times. Furthermore, I must thank all the army leaders who fought with me a myriad of battles across the five kingdoms until we could defeat Zixin and restore the throne. Namely, I want to thank [Yueliang started mentioning the names of all his army leaders] … I am much grateful for General Guozhi Hop and General Zimo Bambang for defecting from the army of Zixin and joining our army. Their defection has tipped the balance of power in the war in our favor.

Our victory would not be possible without the sacrifices of so many brave men and women of the Chinese nation. I want to thank some dead men and women who contributed the most to our grand victory. These brave men and women are my colleagues at the Merlin School who sacrificed their souls for the sake of our cause. Thank you so much Ji Biming, An Bo, Chang Dequan, Cong Fai, Jiang Qi, Wen Yu, Zhong Ming, Guotin Chuanli, Baozhai Aiguo, Chyou Bolin, Daiyu Chaoxiang, Fen Huizhong, Ju Jianyu, Nuo Park and Shu Qianfan. May Allah shower your souls with mercy and forgiveness for all your noble acts that helped us tremendously in vanquishing Zixin and his soldiers and achieving our glorious victory. Chinese history will certainly remember your names and heroic acts generation after generation.

My words of thanks go to everyone who contributed directly and indirectly to our victory with their words or acts. Achieving victory requires a collective effort of so many people and we must give credit where credit is due. I want to thank all the valorous soldiers who fought courageously in our army and for our cause. I thank the living soldiers and the dead soldiers who sacrificed their souls for our cause. Every soldier, living or dead, will be compensated generously by our government. The families of dead soldiers will be greatly cherished by our government.

Today, a new era of the Chinese Empire begins. I hope it will be an era of great peace and tranquility to all citizens of the Chinese Empire. I will do my best to declare wise and just policies that will maximize the goodness and welfare of our citizens and bring happiness and comfort to their lives. The mission of the ruler of a nation is to bring justice and fight injustice; to bring peace and fight war; to bring comfort and fight discomfort; to bring luxury and fight misery; and to bring development and fight backwardness.

I cannot achieve success on my own. I need the help and support of wise, intelligent and clever people who advise me and correct me when I am wrong. I cannot promise you that I will be a perfect leader but I promise you to be a good leader as much as possible. Let us together build strong and prosperous China. Together we shape the future of the Chinese Empire and all our achievements will garland Chinese history. Let us make China thrive and prosper. May Allah protect China and Chinese people from dangers and may Allah grant us success in our efforts to grow and protect China. Long live China, Long live China, Long live China.”

After Yueliang finished his sermon, people started to hail him and hail China by repeating: “Long live China; Long live China; Long live China. Long live Yueliang, the new emperor of the Chinese Empire; Long live Yueliang, the new emperor of the Chinese Empire; Long live Yueliang, the new emperor of the Chinese Empire; ...”

After this historic sermon, the attendants enjoyed the dinner banquet which was an open buffet of every delicious Chinese food. The Imperial Inauguration Ceremony was a great success and everyone hailed it as: “ a great, inspiring and moving ceremony.”

The Final Imperial Appointments

After Yueliang has been enthroned officially as the new emperor of the Chinese Empire, he made some new appointments in his empire. As for the five kingdoms, Yueliang discharged King Tuxuan Haoran and Queen Liqiu Mingxia from the sovereignty of the Ruby Kingdom. He also discharged King Yuhang Yichen and Queen Lihua Suyin from the sovereignty of the Star Kingdom. These kings and queens were only appointed temporarily by Yueliang during the war with Zixin and now after things have stabilized well, it is time to remove them from office. Yueliang has appointed King Lei Keung and Queen Shui Lim as the new king and queen of the Ruby Kingdom. This king and queen used to be the king and queen of the Crown Kingdom during the reign of Emperor Wei Jian and after the coup, they hid in a safe place under the watchful eye of the Ministry of Intelligence. King Qiang Sheng and Queen Ya Peng will keep their positions as the King and Queen of the Pearl Kingdom. Also, King Dong Hai and Queen Lan He will keep their positions as the King and Queen of the Cloud Kingdom. The new two important appointments Yueliang has made is appointing Mohammad Azzumurrud and Taiyang Jian as the king and the queen of the Crown Kingdom. They will be enthroned shortly after their planned marriage. Yueliang wanted to keep his sister close to him and this is why he chose for her the Crown Kingdom. Furthermore, Yueliang appointed Junjie Song and his wife, Mei Shun, as the new king and queen of the Star Kingdom. Liling Heng will be new empress after her planned marriage with Yueliang.

Yueliang also appointed Lijuan Shanyuan as the new Imperial Minister of Intelligence. This is because Lijuan played a key role as a spy in defeating Zixin and capturing him alive. Liqin Bowen was appointed as the Supreme Imperial Consultant of the Emperor. This is because Liqin helped Yueliang, Taiyang and Junjie so much while hosting them in his own house in the Rainbow City. All the army leaders who fought with Yueliang were promoted with a remarkable salary increase. Yueliang wanted to maintain the shape of the government that he inherited from his father while at the same time make his own wise choices to reward those loyal and hardworking people that accompanied him in his journey to restoring the throne.

The Marriage of Yueliang and Liling

After Yueliang has been enthroned as the new emperor of the Chinese Empire, it is now time for him to marry his sweetheart, Liling. Before marriage, Yueliang officially obtained the approval of Liling's family for their marriage. Yueliang spent a one-month engagement period with Liling. In this engagement period, Yueliang and Liling had an official Islamic marriage contract so that they are officially married according to Islamic Law. They enjoyed a myriad of kisses, hugs and love dialogues with one another. In the wedding night, there was a marvelous celebration with traditional Chinese music and dancing. The dinner banquet contained all sorts of Chinese delicious food and drinks.

When Yueliang entered his bedroom with Liling, he handed her a beautiful and fine collection of jewelry and gifts on this very special occasion. Likewise, Liling gifted Yueliang a beautiful and precious collection of gifts to show her love for him. In addition, Yueliang gifted Liling a Chinese poem that he especially wrote for her on this paramount occasion. Here is the poem of Yueliang:

Love Poem 7 - Yueliang's Poem: Our Mutual Journey

1. I think of you night and day.

2. I believe every word you say.

3. We share one journey and way.

4. Together we shall always stay.

5. To Allah, for us, I shall pray.

Liling read the poem and she liked it very much. She also gave Yueliang a poem she wrote for him in this magnificent occasion. Here is Liling's poem:

Love Poem 8 - Liling's Poem: Our True Love

1. My love for you is deep and true.

2. It will remain strong and accrue.

3. I remember all what we went through.

4. Over the years we together grew.

5. If I do not see you, I am full of rue.

Yueliang loved Liling's poem and thanked her deeply for her exalted taste and choice. They together spent the happiest night in their life. Here is a snapshot of the love conversation between the two couples:

Yueliang: Liling, I love you so much. You are dearer to me than my soul.

Liling: Yueliang, I love you so much, too. You are dearer to me than my heart.

Yueliang: My love for you outnumbers the leaves of the trees.

Liling: My love for you outnumbers the planets in the sky.

Yueliang: I would sacrifice my soul for your sake.

Liling: Sacrificing my soul for you sake is not enough. You deserve more than my soul.

Yueliang: Our love story is unique and worth remembering. Chinese history will certainly immortalize our love story.

Liling: How beautiful love is when it is garlanded with success after a myriad of hardships and obstacles.

Yueliang: True. The more we sacrifice for our love, the more we appreciate that love.

Liling: May Allah make our life happy and full of achievements.

Yueliang: Ameen.

The Marriage of Mohammad and Taiyang

The marriage of Mohammad and Taiyang is planned to happen on the same night as the marriage of Yueliang and Liling. This was the suggestion of Taiyang since Yueliang and Taiyang are a twin. Similar to the marriage of Yueliang and Liling, Mohammad obtained the permission to marry Taiyang from Yueliang and they spent a one-month engagement period. In this engagement period, Mohammad and Taiyang had an official Islamic marriage contract so that they are officially married according to Islamic Law. During this month, they enjoyed a myriad of kisses, hugs and love dialogues with one another. In their wedding night, Mohammad and Taiyang shared the same wedding ceremony and celebration as Yueliang and Liling.

When Mohammad entered his bedroom with Taiyang, he gifted Taiyang a splendid and marvelous collection of jewelry and gifts to show her love for her. Likewise, Taiyang gifted Mohammad a gorgeous and captivating collection of gifts as a token of her love for Mohammad. Also, Mohammad gifted Taiyang a Chinese poem that he especially wrote for her on this supreme occasion. Here is the poem of Mohammad:

Love Poem 9 - Mohammad's Poem: You are Beautiful

1. You are beautiful and smart.

2. You truly bewitched my heart.

3. Happiness forces sadness to depart.

4. We united and shall not be apart.

5. Tonight our great life will start.

Taiyang loved Mohammad's poem a lot and thanked him for his noble feelings. She also gifted Mohammad a Chinese poem she wrote for him as a special memory in this unique occasion. Here is Taiyang's poem:

Love Poem 10 - Taiyang's Poem: Thinking of You

1. Your words are wise and sweet.

2. Let us always chat and meet.

3. I think of you with every heartbeat.

4. From now on, we will together eat.

5. Being away makes my soul full of heat.

Mohammad was extremely happy to read Taiyang's poem and he thanked her greatly for her sincere feelings toward him. Mohammad and Taiyang spent together the most beautiful night of their life. Here is a snapshot of the love conversation between the two couples:

Mohammad: Taiyang, I love you so much. My love for you is beyond description.

Taiyang: Mohammad, I love you so much, too. You are the dearest person to my heart.

Mohammad: My love for you outnumbers the grains of wheat.

Taiyang: My love for you outnumbers the berries of grape.

Mohammad: I would sacrifice my soul and money for your sake.

Taiyang: You are the noblest man I have ever met. I thank Allah for writing my destiny as to meet you.

Mohammad: All the praises and thanks be to Allah who decreed that we shall meet and marry at the end. Marrying you has been my loveliest dream.

Taiyang: How beautiful it is when our beautiful dreams come true. May Allah grant us a happy life with great success.

Mohammad: Ameen. Tonight, I am the luckiest and happiest person on the earth to have you as my wife.

Taiyang: You cannot be happier and luckier than me for having you as my husband.

Mohammad: Thank you, my sweetheart. May we live together happily and prosper.

The Offspring of the Imperial Family

After Emperor Yueliang spent some years with Empress Liling, Liling proposed that Yueliang marries three more wives according to the Islamic Law. Islam allows polygyny where a husband marries a maximum of four wives if he can treat them with justice and equality. Since Yueliang is the only surviving male descendant of the Jian family, he needs to have as many children as possible so that the lineage of the Jian family prospers, flourishes and is preserved. Liling alone cannot fulfill Yueliang's desire to have a myriad of children because her health or physical capability is limited. Pregnancy, delivery and nursing are difficult tasks and every woman has a peak capacity beyond which she cannot bear the burden anymore. Yueliang agreed to marry three more wives and to take concubines as well with the goal of increasing the offspring of the Jian family. In total, Yueliang married four wives (including Liling) and had ten concubines. After some years, the children of Yueliang reached fifty, thirty males and twenty females. As for Mohammad and Taiyang, Mohammad chose to remain faithful to Taiyang and devote his love solely to her. Mohammad and Taiyang had ten children, five males and five females. Yueliang and Liling and Mohammad and Taiyang spent a happy life with their children and the Chinese Empire lived in peace during the reign of Emperor Yueliang.

The Pilgrimage and the Journey to Makkah

In one year, Yueliang decided to perform pilgrimage which the fifth pillar of Islam. He wanted to accompany his wife Liling along with Mohammad, Taiyang, Junjie and Mei. Their journey started from the Jasmine City and ended in Makkah where they performed all the pillars and required acts of pilgrimage. This memorable journey had a great impact on the spiritual growth of Yueliang, Taiyang and the rest of the group. They felt that they have come nearer to Allah by fulfilling all what Allah has ordered them to do. They felt that they belong to one united nation which is the Islamic nation that spreads from the east to the west and from the north to the south of the earth. Yueliang, Taiyang and the rest of the group loved Makkah and Madinah so much and they felt deep reverence for these two holiest cities of the Islamic nation.

Spreading Islam in the Chinese Empire

Yueliang loves Islam so much so he wanted to spread Islam in the Chinese Empire in a methodical and systematic way. Yueliang sent so many Muslim teachers to teach Chinese people about Islam and the importance of embracing Islam so that they are salvaged from Hellfire and become eligible to enter Paradise in the Hereafter on the Day of Judgment.

The Holy Mosque of Makkah with the Kaabah toward which Muslims turn to pray to Allah.

Also, Yueliang called to Islam all the ministers, the soldiers and people working in his government. Yueliang used to hold knowledge sharing sessions about Islam to teach his people all they need to know about Islam. After some time, the vast majority of Chinese people embraced Islam due to the persistent efforts of Yueliang to spread Islam with his wisdom, intelligence and diligence. The remaining minority of Chinese people who rejected to embrace Islam preferred to remain on the religions or ways of life they inherited from their forefathers. Both Muslim and non-Muslim Chinese people lived in peace and mutual respect with one another. When China became a Muslim country, Yueliang issued an imperial edict to make the Islamic Sharia the basis for laws in the Chinese Empire. In other words, China begins to rule according to the instructions of the Holy Koran and the Honorable Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad in all aspects of life. Marriage, divorce, trade, criminal laws, etc. are all conducted in an Islam-compliant way in the Chinese Empire. China thrived and prospered greatly under the rule of Islam that guards the rights of every human being.

Introducing the Word (Allah) to the Chinese Language

Currently, the Chinese language does not have the word “Allah” defined in it. Therefore, Yueliang took the initiative to define the word “Allah” in the Chinese language and associate it with a dedicated Chinese symbol. Yueliang defined a dedicated Chinese symbol for the word “Allah” that is quite similar to how “Allah” is written in Arabic. This new Chinese symbol is pronounced in Chinese exactly as “Allah” is pronounced in Arabic. Yueliang added an entry for the new word “Allah” to the Chinese dictionary as follows:

“Allah: The One and Only True God, the Lord of the Worlds, the Creator of everything, the Owner of everything and the King of mankind.”

Allah as written in Arabic (right) and in Chinese (left) as defined by Yueliang. [I am sorry as I could not attach the image]

The Imperial Philanthropy

Yueliang and Taiyang have reopened The Imperial Art Gallery of the Dragon and the Phoenix. They restored what they could restore from their artistic masterpieces and added new ones to their art collection. Moreover, Yueliang and Taiyang decided to dedicate all the proceeds from their art gallery to charity, especially the families of martyrs who died in the war while supporting the cause of Yueliang and Taiyang.

When the Chinese economy prospered during the reign of Emperor Yueliang, Yueliang issued an imperial edict to compensate all those who were harmed by the counterfeit money that was produced from the occult magic of Zixin conditional on their being civilians and not soldiers or workers for Zixin. People were extremely happy for this new imperial edict and they would gather in long queues to replace their counterfeit money with genuine money.

Some Lessons Learned

Yueliang and Taiyang were once sitting alone and they had a chat about some lessons they learned from their great long journey. Here is a snapshot of the conversation:

Yueliang: All the praises and thanks be to Allah for allowing us to take revenge on Zixin and his soldiers in this life before the Hereafter. Not all cases of injustice are settled in this life. A myriad of people are wronged, oppressed and persecuted and they do not take revenge on their oppressors in this life but Allah will take revenge on these oppressors and return the rights of those oppressed in the Hereafter on the Day of Judgment.

Taiyang: True. We cannot thank Allah enough for His Grace and Generosity in making us victorious over Zixin and his soldiers in this life. All the praises and thanks be to Allah. One lesson I learned from our story the importance of networking. See how our networking with Junjie allowed us to be hosted by Liqin Bowen and how our networking with our friends from the Merlin School helped us greatly in nullifying the magic of Zixin.

Yueliang: Nice. Another relevant lesson is that a coincidental connection can be more valuable than a planned or arranged connection. Look at how you met Mohammad by coincidence and later his knowledge allowed us to tip the balance of power in the war in our favor. How marvelous that Mohammad later became your lovely husband.

Taiyang: True. Coincidence can bring marvels. We should not forget the importance of sacrifice and how our friends at the Merlin School sacrificed their souls for serving our cause.

The Ring Recitation of The Holy Koran

Junjie and Mei are visiting the Jasmine City to meet Yueliang and Yueliang invited them along with Taiyang and Mohammad for a picnic on the beach of the Covenant Lake. After having the delicious barbecues lunch, Yueliang, Junjie, Mohammad, Taiyang, Liling and Mei started to recall their beautiful memories at the Merlin School. One particular memory they recalled is the ring recitation of the Holy Koran. In this beautiful recitation, participants form a ring and each one recites one verse from the Holy Koran and the recitation continues in a counterclockwise fashion. In other words, the first participant recites the first verse then the participant to his/her right recites the next verse and so on and so forth.

Yueliang: Do you remember when we used to practice the ring recitation of the Holy Koran with our friends from the Merlin School?

Taiyang: How can I forget that? At that time, our ring consisted of 21 persons but now we are only six persons.

Junjie: May Allah have mercy on our friends who died and May Allah accept them as martyrs.

Liling: I miss our friends: Ji, An, Chang, Cong, Jiang, Wen, Zhong, Guotin, Baozhai, Chyou, Daiyu, Fen, Ju, Nuo and Shu.

Mei: I miss them, too. May Allah let us unite with them in Paradise in the Hereafter.

The group: Ameen.

Mohammad: If you like, we can now carry out a ring recitation of the Holy Koran to revive and evoke our beautiful memories at the Merlin School.

Taiyang: What a brilliant idea! Let us do it.

Yueliang: Which verses of the Holy Koran should we recite?

Taiyang: I suggest the ending verses of Assaffat Sura (Chapter 37 of the Holy Koran). They are very moving and touch my heart deeply.

Mohammad: Excellent choice. I love these verses so much.

Junjie: Who will start the ring recitation of the Holy Koran?

Mei: I think Emperor Yueliang, our dear leader, must start.

Yueliang: Thank you, Mei, for your reverence.

Liling: Let us begin.

[The group now began reciting the Holy Koran in Arabic]

Yueliang: I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful [These two sentences are said at the beginning of any recitation from the Holy Koran].

Yueliang: Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! (159)

Taiyang: Except the slaves of Allah, whom He chose (for His Mercy; i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). (160)

Mohammad: So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols) (161)

Junjie: Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], (162)

Mei: Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! (163)

Liling: And there is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); (164)

Yueliang: Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows (for the prayers as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); (165)

Taiyang: And verily, we (angels), indeed are those who glorify (Allah's Praises; i.e. perform prayers). (166)

Mohammad: And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; (167)

Junjie: "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad as a Messenger of Allah). (168)

Mei: "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" (169)

Liling: But (now that the Koran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Koran and in Prophet Muhammad and all that he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! (170)

Yueliang: And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, (171)

Taiyang: That they verily would be made triumphant. (172)

Mohammad: And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. (173)

Junjie: So turn away (O Muhammad ) from them for a while, (174)

Mei: And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! (175)

Liling: Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? (176)

Yueliang: Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! (177)

Taiyang: So turn (O Muhammad ) away from them for a while, (178)

Mohammad: And watch and they shall see (the torment)! (179)

Junjie: Glorified is your Lord, the Lord of Honor and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (180)

Mei: And peace be on the Messengers! (181)

Liling: And all the praises and thanks are to Allah, Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (182) [THK: S 37: V 159-182]

The group finished the ring recitation and enjoyed the charming nature and the beautiful weather. The gathering with close friends invigorates the soul and revives the heart. Those special moments spent with family and friends remain indelible memories that glow with hope and optimism for the rest of one's life.

Yueliang, Taiyang, Junjie, Mohammad, Liling and Mei lived in happiness, peace and tranquility in the Chinese Empire that is ruled by the wisdom of Emperor Yueliang. They all ruled with justice and equality and applied Islam as much as they could in their daily lives. Islam brings happiness to this life and to the life in the Hereafter. All Chinese people love Yueliang and Taiyang so much because in their reign the Chinese Empire has become stable, prosperous, peaceful on the political, social and economical sides. Yueliang and Taiyang captivated the hearts of Chinese people with their noble heroic acts and matchless bravery, wisdom and sacrifices to serve the Chinese people in the Chinese Empire. The value of a ruler is judged by the amount of good, justice, prosperity, development and progress he/she brings to his/her nation and Yueliang and Taiyang were consummate role models for the Chinese nation.

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, for bestowing on us the grace of Islam that has the true guidance. We thank Allah for teaching us eloquent speech that glows with fragrance. We thank Allah for teaching us art and science. We thank Allah as many times as the number of His creatures in existence. To Allah we only pray and to Allah we only return with penitence. We ask Allah to beautify our lives with thankfulness and patience. We supplicate Allah to make us live this life according to the Truth and with the right balance. Peace be on Prophet Muhammad, the Final Prophet and Messenger from Allah to all mankind, to whom we have the supreme reverence. Peace be upon the noble family and the honorable companions of Prophet Muhammad and on those who followed them in all good deeds with love and deference.

“Glorified is your Lord, the Lord of Honor and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (180) And peace be on the Messengers! (181) And all the praises and thanks are to Allah, Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (182)” [THK: S 37: V 180-182].
